Hemos preparado para usted la casa tropical perfecta en la región más hermosa de la Republica Dominicana. La península de Samana es la región más verde con las más hermosas playas con palmeras. En Las Terrenas es una comunidad internacional. Nuestra casa (10 pers.) es de 65 meter de Playa Las Ballenas y de 1, 5 km del pueblo donde los más deliciosos restaurantes, bares y posibilidades de entretenimiento son (15 minutos a pie). Situado en un jardín tropical (700 m²) con piscina, parrilla, deck de madera con 6 camas de sol. Suplemento posiblemente con 4 sillas de playa. Una amplia terraza cubierta con mesa de comedor. Bungalow separado con 6 camas y cuarto de baño. La piscina se encuentra entre las dos casas. Wi-fi internet y cable t.v., proprio suministro de agua. Todas las habitaciones equipadas con aire acondicionado y ventiladores. Un guardia de día y un guardia de la noche estás continuamente al servicio, manteniendos la playa limpia para ti y poniendos sus tumbonas. Señora de la limpieza que viene todos los días. PoolMan 2 x por semana, jardinero 1 x por semana media jornada. Personal de tiempo completo es posible si se desea para todas las comidas. A petición hay una nevera surtida a su llegada.

Overall we had a nice stay. Erik did a great job with communication and the staff was wonderful. We had dinner cooked for us twice and it was delicious. I had my 2 year old and newborn with me - we loved the pool and were grateful for the crib. AC cost was very reasonable- used 2 every night for 4 nights and cost about 34. A couple of things to note: speaking Spanish is necessary to communicate with staff. And there is a resort being built right next door, so construction noise was constant and it didn’t feel quite as isolated and peaceful as I had hoped.

Our host was amazing, responsive, kind and just an overall joy to deal with. Unfortunately, there was some construction next-door when we first arrived. Our host was not aware of the construction next door however he was quick to respond and moved us to another gorgeous villa. It is an absolutely beautiful property, the beds are comfortable, the view is spectacular, the pool is clean, the staff is attentive and accommodating. Its proximity to all the good restaurants is a bonus! We are planning on coming back in November and we will definitely be staying at this property again.

The house is 90 steps away from the beach, which is great because it offers the best of both worlds quiet and private, yet close to everything. The hosts are fantastic and the response time to any questions or issues is within minutes. The kitchen is well equiped and the outside living area great. The description and pictures provide are accurate. I highly recommand this property. We had a wonderful stay.

Fantastic property!

We had a wonderful stay! Our casa was beautiful and we loved that our daughters had their own space in their pool casa. Erik was so helpful, prompt in his responses, and gave great suggestions for local activities and services. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We would absolutely stay here again and enjoy this fabulous property and gorgeous beach.

Great Vacation In Las Terranas

We stayed at Eric's place for two weeks and had a great time. The first week we were there with 3 or our grown children and their partners and the second our daughter came with her family. We loved the layout of the house given the number of people, and very much enjoyed the outdoor living areas and pool. We also thought that the location was perfect in lots of ways- 3 minutes to a beautiful beach, safe and close enough to many good restaurants as well as the town. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and Eric, the owner, was very responsive.

A cozy villa next to a wonderful beach

We had a wonderful holiday at this cozy beach villa. The house was clean and met our expectations. Erik and Fieke (the house owners) were very nice and helpful throughout our stay. For example when our youngest doughter got sick Erik came with a doctor whithin 30 minutes. The beaches at Las Terrenas where the most beutiful beaches we ever been to and the resturant in Las Terrenas where also very good. To sum up we can truly recommend both Las Terrenas and this nice beach house.

Loved the house and Blancas cooking. Wish we knew Spanish as that was a challenge for us communicating with everyone until we found google translate. The beach is pretty and the water warm. Excursions are a bit far away so you are limited to exploring by 4 wheeler or renting a car. The house was well appointed and pastries from town amazing. A lot of street noise from the car and vehicles and lots of people on the beach on the weekends but Very family oriented. The owner was accessible and committed to making our stay as pleasurable as possible. We felt well supported by all of the staff who ensured we had everything we needed!

Amazing house close to the beach

The house and it's surroundings are beautiful. The house is perfect for families with children. Our kids loved the pool, and the adults enjoyed the short way to the beach. The beach is cleaned every morning and sunbeds made available by the staff. The house was clean and nice, so was the pool. The only thing was that it comes some leaves and stuff in the pool, so it could have been cleaned an extra time during our stay. But the staff is great and serviceminded, the cook great. The house is a 20 minute walk from the centrum, but we mostly enjoyed homecooked dinners. But the restaurants we visited were very good. We will recommend both Eric and the house. Any inguires we had, they responded quickly.

Beautiful Villa in ideal location

We enjoyed our stay at the Villa. The location was ideal! It was just a stone throw away from the beach! The cook prepared delicious breakfast and dinner meals for us during our stay. This was an additional cost for the ingredients and cooking but so worth it!!! A few things we did not like was that there is no daily cleaning as indicated on the listing. Cleaning occurred only once during our stay and bath towels are switched out as requested not daily. Also, the electric is sub-metered. There was no mention of this on the listing. We were under the impression that it was $5 per ac (4ac units) for use for total of $20. The extra amount incurred was not significant however, we would have appreciated more transparency on how the electric is calculated.

Hideaway Oasis

This listing checked all the boxes for us… super close to the beach, clean pool and surrounded by lush vegetation. The open outdoor layout of eating areas felt very tropical and allowed us to live in the pool and ocean. Blanca is the best! Her dinner was amazing! Wish we had chosen to have her cook all the nights we were there. The guard at the end of the drive way brought our beach chairs our every time we went down to the beach which was like a scene from a postcard. We booked two excursions through Frank and they were amazing… can’t say enough great things about our stay. We stayed cool at night with the AC, and had plenty of sun during the day. Other reviews mentioned noise. There was some construction during the day but it wasn’t a problem. A few noises like engines or talking during the night from neighbors but mostly it was quiet.

True Paradise!

We cannot say enough about our hosts Erik & Fieke. They were incredibly accomadating and gracious. The property exceeded out expectations.It was quiet and serene with total privacy yet very safe and secure. The landscaping was very plush and tropical and only 65 meter walk to the beach. The staff was on call daily and took care of all our needs.They were completely accommodating in helping us to set up excursions, to private massages, easy 2 hr transportation to and from the airport and finding the best local restaurants. Margarita the proprty manager made us feel like family and we will so miss her warm welcoming smile each morning. The inexpensive motoconchos which is the main form of transportation was easy and fun. My sister, myself and our two daughters felt extremely safe and had the time of our lives. This Las Terrenas experience will completely emerge you into a true local flavor experience. We will truly miss our hosts and staff and would love to revisit in the future.

Perfect Location

Absolutely loved it. We visited in a terrible heat wave, but the AC units in the bedrooms were able to keep us cool. We had worried the extra electric bill would be outrageous, but it was very reasonable. The gardens around the property are beautiful. So easy and fast to get to our favorite beach in the world. The beach has almost no waves and is perfect for little ones and just relaxing in the water. We had a few minor issues but they were addressed immediately, and all of the staff were wonderful. A few tips: -The bathrooms don’t have fans, and with the heat it was a lifesaver for us to have handheld fans we could set on the counters to keep us cool. -The stairs for the loft beds are very narrow and don’t have rails. We had planned to have the kids sleep up there but ended up having the adults sleep there instead. It wasn’t a problem for us at all, but if you have young kids it would be helpful to keep in mind for your planning. Overall a wonderful trip! We will definitely be back.

Great family vacation!

The host (Erik) is responsive and so helpful. He gave us very detailed guides prior to our trip which made arrival very seamless. He helped accommodate 3 kids (7mo, 2 and 4) to make the trip as comfortable for us as possible. We had a chef for our stay and she was so wonderful and friendly. We used a google translate app often due to the language barrier, but always had incredible meals (and even some side kid meals too!)- she takes care of all the cooking and cleaning, so we were able to lounge by the pool, swim in the ocean or go for a walk down the street (which is along the oceanfront!). The area was safe and the locals were so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean, and the air conditioning kept them comfortable for sleep. Cleaning staff came every morning. There was always someone nearby so we never felt our things were unattended when we left the property- and there is also a guard at the entrance of our road. Overall: I highly recommend this property for a family vacation, but really it would be great for any group demographics. Thank you Erik and staff!

Wonderful villa, beautiful landscaping and perfect vacation home!

Our family of five-Grandma, two kids (8, 5), my husband and I-truly enjoyed a wonderful week at this villa. Great layout for relaxing by the pool and everyone having their own space. Grandma and kids stayed in the bungalow (kids in the upstairs loft) while my husband and I stayed in the main house. Stunning landscaping made house feel very private even though their are homes on both sides. We were very well cared for by Erik and his local staff (cleaning and security). Erik called us a few days into the trip to make sure we had everything we needed. Such a nice gesture that doesn't always happen! We felt very safe the entire trip both at the house and at the beach (very short walk down the gravel path). Took advantage of the boat rental and great pizza on the beach. Most nights we walked to a restaurant or drove quickly into town. Arrived to the house by renting a car and driving in from Santo Domingo (about two hours). Beautiful drive, also recommend checking out the Samana pennisula (beaches, waterfalls and zip lining). We highly recommend and would return to this villa, beach and the DR!

A little paradise

We, (my husband, our 1,5 year old son and myself) stayed a week in April in Casa Lomacorazon. What a beautiful green setting, so close to the beach. I could hear the waves in my bed. What a perfect sound to fall asleep. Entering the property with the two private houses and a very well maintained pool in the middle was even more beautiful than what was shown on the site. The house is beautifully decorated in warm, natural colours and makes you feel at home immediately. All the things you need for a perfect vacation were available. Estrella, the housekeeper, entering every second day with a big smile, is also an excellent cook; she prepared our breakfast and dinner and kept the house very clean. The bedrooms under the cana roof are very cool, so we even did not need the airco. If at all, the ceiling fan was sufficient. Kitchen was very well equipped and clean. Very pleasant that spices and paper towels are available, no need to buy the basics. The 24/7 services of the location managers Beatrice and Michael were excellent. Quenold, the day guard, put the chairs already under the beautiful palm tree on the beach that was also cleaned, especially for us, before we even thought about this ourselves. We had lovely lunches on the beach at Restaurants Eden and Sol y Mar, both very close by. The fish arrived directly from the ocean on the grill. We made a lovely whale watching trip, a must do in this time of the year. I can recommend this place if you want a luxurious, tropical and natural holiday. Las Terrenas is a lovely international village with outstanding, high quality and modern restaurants and bars. We even went with our son to our favourite restaurant La Terrasse. It’s a treat that everybody is so relaxed. The owners were very helpful in organizing stuff we needed for our young son. (baby chair etc). We certainly will return to this little paradise with our family and friends. M.Bonsel

Secluded Oasis

We had a wonderful stay at Erik’s Oasis. We were able to have our family with our 7 month old grandson stay with us who live in Las Terrenas. It was great that they had their own space as well as us. Having the swimming pool for just us was a plus. It was great having breakfast cooked every morning. Plus this place was clean…the wonderful daily cleaning lady was great! Erik was awesome also! Highly recommend and we will be back.

This is a beautiful Villa .. I loved it here , I can stay forever. Erik & and his wife the hosts are the best people , lovely people The service 6 stars!!!(above & beyond) . Blanca gave us the best service and her cooking was awesome & delicious The location was perfect since it was within walking distance to all the beach bars and restaurants. Las Terrenas is a gem on the north coast of DR. Amazing beaches...Our favorite is Playa Coson, mostly because of Restaurant Luis where you pick your whole snapper or langosta and have it grilled on the beach for you. There are many beachfront restaurants close by and many more a short walk into town. The house is only a 1 minute walk to the beach where the guard has your beach chairs set up each morning. The grounds of the house are lush and tropical....open air concept, but still have A/C in the bedrooms and the bungalow. The owner, who was very responsive to our needs and requests, had the area and house sprayed the day after we arrived so mosquitoes were minimal. There were very few mosquitoes on beach as the breeze keeps them away. But you will need mosquito repellant as in any tropical or subtropical area. They also provide pucks and candles to burn. The refrigerator is one of the best that we have had in any rental property...large, filtered water and ice and really cold. The washer was not working while we were there, but the housekeepers did laundry for free when we needed them. There is a clothes line for drying...things dried out fairly quickly. The pool was cleaned frequently and the housekeepers did a nice job of swapping beach towels and keeping the outdoor and indoor areas clean. The owner arranged transportation to and from the house from the airport. Carlos, our driver, was excellent. You can get around once in Las Terrenas via motoconchos, renting a scooter, 4 wheeler, or car. We rented a car for $50/day total cost. It was brought to and picked up at the house. This is a wonderful house in a great location away from the center of town. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was there is a construction project going on next door. That created noise during the day. As a property owner and manager myself, I feel the need to inform people of that when my guests are booking so that they can make a decision on whether that would be a deterrent to making the reservation. All in all, a great place to spend some time relaxing.

Somos una pareja de orientación internacional, originalmente holandés, después de haber vivido en varios países antes de descubrir y enamorarse Las Terrenas en la primera visitan en 2003. Nos gusta el ambiente auténtico, sin embargo internacional, su maravilloso clima y sobre todo muy amable y hospitalaria gente. También nuestros niños crecidos y sus hijos como para venir a Las Terrenas regularmente razón por la cual hemos construido una nueva casa frente al mar junto a la casa existente. Estamos muy ocupados con las dos casas, pero también tenemos nuestra propia compañía, la importación de diversas mercancías de Europa.

Situado en la playa más hermosa de Las Terrenas, villa Caribe romántico para máximo 10 personas con un bungalow independiente y piscina privada en el centro. Excelentes instalaciones, servicio perfecto. Posibilidad de cocinero privado.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

situado en un jardín tropical, 65 metros de Playa Las Ballenas, la playa más bonita de Las Terrenas, pero cerca del centro de Las Terrenas. (Pueblo de Pescadores).
