La Forge:
Un espacioso diseño al aire libre que combina paredes de piedra a la vista, trabajos en madera y metal. Duerme cuatro en 2 habitaciones. Wi-Fi gratis. Recomendado para familias
Planta baja: amplia sala de estar y comedor de planta abierta, bien amueblada e incluye una estufa de leña. Se incluye televisión por satélite, reproductores de DVD y CD sin región. La cocina totalmente equipada cuenta con nevera / congelador, lavavajillas y lavadora.
Arriba: dos habitaciones, decoradas con buen gusto, cada una con camas dobles.
Cuarto de baño: con un espacioso 'douche a l'italienne' y dos lavabos.
WC separado.
Exterior: terraza con mesa y sillas grandes y acceso a zona de barbacoa.


Domaine de Curé, en medio de los viñedos con vistas a los Pirineos, ofrece 3 casas rurales de lujo con piscina privada en una finca de una hectárea rica en numerosas especies de árboles. La calidad de los muebles y accesorios es del más alto nivel y le brinda todas las comodidades. Dentro del pueblo de Conques-sur-Orbiel puedes encontrar una cafetería y un restaurante junto con una selección de tiendas locales. Supermercados, estaciones de servicio, complejo de películas y otras tiendas se encuentran a 5 minutos en coche. Para hacer turismo y otras actividades en la región, la ciudad medieval fortificada de Carcasona está a solo 10 km, junto con el famoso Canal du Midi del siglo XVII. Otros sitios incluyen los históricos castillos cátaros (Montsegur, Peyrepertuse, Lastours) numerosas abadías (Lagrasse, Fontfroide, St. Hilaire y St. Papoul) y muchas ciudades de mercado. El mar Mediterráneo y Toulouse están a 45 minutos..

***** Nos lo pasamos de maravilla en la casa rural. Fue muy agradable y nos impresionó la calidad del alojamiento; estaba muy limpio, todo lo que necesitábamos estaba allí y realmente lo disfrutamos. Carcasona está muy cerca, muchas tiendas, el castillo es fantástico (Seamus; Cork, Irlanda) **** Todo el ambiente y la atmósfera del dominio es absolutamente excelente. ***** ¡Vinimos esperando un lugar donde pudiéramos relajarnos y recargar nuestras baterías! Fantastic stay

Fantastic two week stay at Domaine de Cure. Jean-Noel and Agathe were the perfect hosts: friendly, kind and have a wealth of knowledge re what is worth doing in the area. We split our time between visiting various attractions in Aude and enjoying downtime at the gite. The gite itself is lovely - clean and well-appointed - and the buildings sympathetically renovated. The grounds and pool did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend.

Holiday at Domaine de Cure

The accommodation was very spacious with the luxury of a very large fridge/freezer and washing machine. The pool was maintained beautifully and enjoyed a beautiful view. it was a perfect place for a quiet and relaxing holiday. We enjoyed our two weeks there

Like a second honeymoon

     My wife and I enjoyed a restful two week stay at Domaine de Cure impressed by the warm hospitality of its owners, Jean-Noel and Agathe Ishida. The Domaine includes gites contained within a beautifully and stylishly restored farmhouse and nicely landscaped estate, entirely surrounded by vineyards and farmland  which continue uninterrupted to the horizon and the mountains beyond.      During our two-week stay we visited many of the places recommended by our hosts, from a three-star Michelin restaurant to excellent local, village charcuteries and boulangeries. Our large gite was so inviting, we found ourselves lingering over meals or enjoying the pool many evenings. The owners wine selection is as affordable as it is an impressive sampling of regional wines.       The Domaine is ideally located within 20 minutes of several Michelin star restaurants, many of which we enjoyed during our stay. Our gite was comfortable and clean and our security deposit was returned promptly. The Ishida's treated us like family when we needed them and otherwise respected our privacy, making us feel our gite was really our own home.     We would recommend Domaine de Cure to anyone looking to experience the food and wine of this region of France and we look forward to returning!

An amazing holiday

Domaine de Cure is everything I thought it would be and much much more ! We were looking for a restful place to stay with lots to do on the doorstep should we wish to explore. We arrived late in the day to a lovely welcome from Jean Noel and Agathe .La Forge is beautifully maintained and immaculately clean. Inside it is well laid out and spacious with everything you need on a day to day basis. We spent our days lazing by the pool, soaking in the views, cycling along the Canal du Midi , visiting the old town of Carcassonne and walking through the fields and vineyards to the local village. Our daughter is studying French at school and it was a perfect place to practise speaking in French. A hire car is advisable in order to visit all the lovely villages in this part of France. There is a large supermarket approx 10 minutes drive away and some small shops where you can buy newspapers / bread etc in the village. Jean Noel and Agathe are so friendly and helpful - nothing was ever too much trouble . We loved our stay so much that we immediately booked again for next year. We are so looking forward to returning to this very beautiful corner of France - made all the more special by our wonderful hosts.

Fabulous Stay!

We recently stayed at Domaine de Curé and were impressed by so many things. Aude and the surrounding region are absolutely beautiful. Lush green vineyards abound. The Pyrénées are visible in the distance. The Canal du Midi beckons for a walk, bike ride or boat cruise. Further, the area is filled with medieval towns and castles perfect for exploring. The accommodation is a large stone structure comprised of three gîtes plus the owners’ residence. The building has been meticulously restored by the owners and the result is absolutely beautiful. We knew it would be nice from the photos on the website but it is even better in person. We loved the exterior stone walls, the wild garden and the individual patio spaces for each gîte. The inside walls are also stone with exposed beam ceilings - very atmospheric. The gîtes are spacious and the décor is modern, colourful and contrasts beautifully with the rustic structure. We loved the woodstove for those cooler evenings. Domaine de Curé is located just outside the small town of Conques-sur-Orbiel. It was very peaceful and quiet and provided plenty of opportunities for walking through vineyards or along narrow country roads (don’t worry, there’s not much traffic). One evening, while trying to work off the Cassoulet from lunch, we wandered along the road and ended up in Villegly, a neighbouring town. We had a nice wander around before heading back home. Domaine de Curé is ideally situated for exploring by car. It’s quite central and a mere 10 minute drive to Carcassonne and all the amenities one needs for a self-catering vacation. Conques-sur-Orbiel has both a pizzeria and small café restaurant and there are a variety of other places to eat within a short drive, including some Michelin starred ones. We sampled a few of these during our stay and the food was fabulous. We would be remiss if we didn’t mention the range of local wines offered for purchase (very reasonably priced). We loved this service as it took the guesswork out of buying local wines. In fact, they were so good we loaded up the day before we left to make sure we had wine at our next rental. We must also mention our hosts, Jean-Noël and Agathe. We very much appreciated their hospitality. They were always available and eager to chat about our plans and our day and to help out in any way they could. They are clearly dedicated to ensuring their guests have the best experience possible in the Aude region. We hope to see them both next year!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit bei Agathe und Jean-Noël. Die Ferienwohnung war so schön und groß wie abgebildet, der Pool brachte uns Erfrischung, die Terrasse war unser Lieblingsort. Viel Platz zum Verstecken spielen für die Kinder. Nah an Carcasonne und gleichzeitig weit genug weg für viel Entspannung. Viele Tipps was man machen kann, wo man gut einkauft und eine sehr leckere Auswahl an lokalen Weinen. Absoluter Weiterempfehlung!

Tolle Ferienwohnung mit ganz netten Gastgebern

Wir verbrachten im August 2 wunderschöne Wochen in Agathes und Jean-Noel's Ferienwohnung.. Die Wohnung ist bestens ausgestattet und man merkt das die Beiden ganz viel Wert auf eine stimmige Einrichtung gelegt haben.. Sie standen uns auch immer mit Rat und Tat zu Seite - sei es bei Fragen nach Ausflugs- oder Einkaufsgelegenheiten genau wie bei Fragen rund um Geschichte und Besonderheiten der Region. Ganz besonders hat uns die gute Auswahl in Jean-Noel's Weinkeller gefallen - da findet sich für jeden Anlass und Geschmack ein feiner Tropfen.. Die Lage des ehemaligen Weinguts - nur 5km bis Carcassonne, 80 km bis zum Mittelmeer und 100km bis Toulouse - machen Ausflüge für jeden Geschmack recht einfach. Von der Vielzahl an Sehenswürdigkeiten in direkter Nachbarschaft gar nicht zu reden - das sollte jeder selbst entdecken.. Vielen Dank für einen wünderschönen Urlaub:

Gîte exceptionnel proche de Carcassonne

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans un gîte idéal pour 4. La piscine est très agréable le matin; après une journée à visiter la région très riche, le bain en soirée est une récompense. Le gîte était immaculé et très propre. Le jardin est immense. Les voitures sont garées sous un appentis. Merci à Agathe et Jean-Noël qui sont des hôtes remarquables et toujours aux petits soins. Nous avons adoré vos conseils sur les vins. Nous recommandons chaleureusement ce gîte dans une région à l'histoire très riche et avec beaucoup d'activités proposées aux alentours.

Le sud de la France avec notre liste de petits producteurs de vins locaux, la piscine donnant sur les Pyrénées parfaite pour les appétitifs et relaxation sont les favoris de beaucoup de nos hôtes. Les parties de pétanques sous les arbres à l’odeur de lavande réjouissent les familles à la fin de la journée sous les platanes de leur terrace. Merci à la famille Delarue !

Dem Charme des Languedoc erlegen ....

Unser zweiwöchiger Aufenthalt in Familie (2 Erwachsene + 2 Kinder) auf der Domaine de Curé bedeutete Sonne satt, Wein, das Zirpen der Zikaden, Barbecue am Abend, eine Ferienwohnung mit super Ausstattung, liebevoller Einrichtung und doch mit ländlichem Flair und äußerst netten Vermietern. Nur wenige Fahrminuten von Supermärkten und von der sehenswerten Stadt Carcassonne entfernt, bietet das ehemalige und ausgebaute Weingut die nötige Entspannung im Urlaub. Wolken mit Regen scheinen einen großen Bogen um diesen Landstrich zu machen. Im Landesinneren gelegen, bietet die Domaine einen großartigen Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Region (Katharer-Burgen, Carcassone, Weingüter, Fahrradausflüge, Paddeltouren und vieles mehr) Der hauseigene Pool bot jeden Tag die nötige Erfrischung. An das Meer fährt man etwa eine Stunde und die Pyrenäen sind ebenfalls ganz nah. Für all das hatten Agathe und Jean-Noel gute Ratschläge. Die beiden kümmerten sich liebevoll und die Kommunikation Englisch/Französisch war einfach... Jean-Noel's Weindepot ist gut ausgestattet und bietet einen super Überblick über die Weine der Region... Wir könnten noch vieles aufzählen. Haben aber auch noch für das nächste Mal vieles auf dem Plan.... Wir möchten einfach unsere Empfehlung abgeben und versprechen Agathe und Jean-Noel die Boule-Revanche "Mama-Team" vs. "Papa-Team"

Incontournable!!

Séjour d'une semaine dans un très beau gîte, spacieux, tranquille et impeccable, comme sur les photos! La situation est idéale, au calme mais à proximité de tout, les lits sont très confortables, le gîte est parfaitement équipé... Nous avons été accueillis par des hôtes absolument charmants : Agathe et Jean-Noël sont vraiment soucieux du bien-être de leurs vacanciers, toujours à l'écoute et de bons conseils. Merci à eux pour les bons moments partagés... La piscine est bien entretenue, on s'y amuse ou s'y repose à l'ombre ou au soleil. Que du bonheur donc dans cet endroit à découvrir absolument! Superbe gîte!

Cet endroit est une destination de vacances de rêves! Un gîte superbe, spacieux, bien entretenu, propre,... nous attends à notre arrivée. L'endroit est magnifique. Et en cas de chaleur (ou pas pour les courageux), un chouette coin piscine est là pour satisfaire tous les goûts: au soleil ou à l'ombre, dans l'eau ou sur les transats, ce coin farniente accueille petits et grands pour un moment de détente après une journée de visite dans les alentours, par exemple. N'oublions surtout pas que dès que les deux roues de la voiture sont sur le domaine, nous sommes accueillis par des propriétaires extraordinaires qui n'hésitent pas à venir nous parler pendant tous le séjour. Très sociables et très gentils, nous ne les oublions pas car c'est grâce à eux que nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans la région de Carcassone! Merci pour tout! Pauline (Belgique)

Erlebnisreiche Tage in der Domaine de Curé

In den Osterferien verbrachten wir sehr schöne, frühlingshafte Tage in der Domaine de Curé. Unsere Gastgeber hießen uns am Abend herzlich willkommen und erklärten uns das Wichtigste zur Ferienwohnung La Forge. Die stilvolle Einrichtung gefiel uns sofort und der Kamin verbreitete eine heimelige Atmosphäre. Agathe und Jean-Noel sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Nachdem wir am nächsten Tag das Frühstück draußen eingenommen hatten, zeigten sie uns auch den großen Garten, den schönen Pool und den großen Gasgrill, der allen Gästen zur Verfügung steht. Sie versorgten uns mit Informationen über die touristischen Attraktionen der Region sowie ganz praktischen Tipps bezüglich Boulangérie, supermarché, Radverleih und den lokalen Märkten. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber, die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und es gibt überdachte Parkplätze auf dem Grundstück. Agathe und Jean-Noel sprechen fließend englisch und sind sehr weltoffen, wir schätzen ihre Hilfsbereitschaft und Gastfreundschaft sehr. Ihre ausgewählten Weine von Winzern der Region sind ebenso empfehlenswert wie der leckere Honig – unbedingt testen ! Die Region ist vielfältig: Ob die beeindruckende cité médiévale von Carcassone, die Karthagerburgern, Radfahren am oder Bootfahren auf dem Canal du Midi, die pulsierende Stadt Toulouse - es gibt viel zu entdecken, so dass wir sicher gerne wieder kommen. Zwei tolle Wochen mit Wohlfühleffekt

Wir waren 2 Wochen in der kleinsten Wohnung "La Caleche". Wir wurden sehr herzlich von unseren Vermietern Agathe und Jean-Noel empfangen. Wir haben sofort gemerkt, das wir einen tollen Urlaub haben werden. Die Herzlichkeit und Freundlichkeit kam sofort rüber. Die Wohnung ist genau so wie sie beschrieben und auf den Bildern zu sehen ist. Bei der Ausstattung fehlt es an nichts. Die gesamte Einrichtung ist sehr liebevoll ausgewählt worden. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Man merkt, das man sehr um das Wohl der Gäste bedacht ist. Jederzeit hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Hier hat man das "Rundum Sorglospaket". Der Pool ist sauber und sehr schön angelegt. Sogar für das Auto gibt es einen Unterstellplatz, der vor der Sonne schützt. Viele gute Tipps haben wir bekommen, die unseren Urlaub sehr verschönert haben. Die Lage der Domaine de Cure ist ideal. Man genießt Ausblick und Ruhe und im Umkreis sind viele kleine und große Sehenswürdigkeiten. Carcassonne ca. 15 min, Toulouse, Narbonne und nicht zu vergessen Albi sind im Bereich von unter 100 km. Eine Fahrradtour entlang am Canal du Midi ist sehr zu empfehlen. Weitere Besonderheit für die Gäste ist der Weinkeller von Jean-Noel, mit den ausgewählten und leckeren Weinen, zu moderaten Preisen. Die Restaurantempfehlungen, die Agathe und Jean-Noel auf einer Liste zusammengestellt haben, sind wirklich sehr gut. In jeder Preislage ist etwas dabei. Eines der Besten ist "Le Bergerie" in Aragon. Diese Empfehlung von Agathe und Jean-Noel, dort einen für uns besonderen Tag auklingen zu lassen, war ein absoluter Volltreffer. Vielen Dank noch einmal dafür! Wir können mit sehr gutem Gewissen die Domaine de Cure für einen tollen Urlaub weiterempfehlen. Many thanks to you Agathe and Jean-Noel for a very nice holiday at Domaine de Cure.

Ein Traum in Rot

Wir waren 2 Wochen in der domaine de cure und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist extrem sauber und sehr geschmackvoll mit einem Händchen fürs Design eingerichtet. Die domaine liegt sehr ruhig inmitten von Weinbergen und trotz heißer Temperaturen spenden die Bäume vor dem Haus genügend Schatten. Auch durch die Natursteinbauweise bleibt es in den Häusern angenehm kühl. Sogar unser Auto hatte einen sonnengeschützten Stellplatz in der umfunktionierten Scheune hinter dem Haus. Vom Pool aus, an dem wir manche fast meditativen Momente verbracht haben, hat man einen sehr schönen Blick auf die Pyrenäen. Die Bilder auf der Homepage entsprechen 100 Prozent der Wirklichkeit. Die Vermieter sind äußerst nett und hilfsbereit, geben gute Tipps und sind stets mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Sehr genossen haben wir die vorzüglichen Weine, die die Vermieter ihren Gästen zu sehr moderaten Preisen anbieten. Es lohnt sich nicht, in Supermärkten nach besseren Weinen Ausschau zu halten (oft teuer und keine gute Qualität). Tipp: Badetücher nicht vergessen, sonst droht Handtuchnotstand.

A small piece of paradise.

We arrived at Domaine de Cure to a lovely warm welcome from our hosts and a beautifully clean and well-maintained gite. This provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The accommodation is set in the countryside among the vineyards, yet only about 20 minutes drive to the ancient city of Carcassonne. The grounds are spacious and provide sunny and shady areas; the swimming pool has sun loungers and a shaded seating area. As there are only 3 gites, the pool is never crowded and is a perfect place to relax. There is a shopping complex nearby with a large supermarket, which sells almost everything, plus a petrol station. Although you do need a car, there are lots of beautiful local walks. The Canal du Midi is only a few minutes drive away and the path provides a scenic walk or cycle between villages. There are lots of historic sites within reasonable driving distance and lakes and mountains offering unforgettable views. Agatha and Jean-Noel are such a lovely couple. They showed an interest in where we had been each day and gave advice on interesting places and local markets that we could include in our trips out. We had such a wonderful holiday we didn't want to leave - but hope to return one day. Don't mention the football!

Ein perfekter Aufenthalt

Zwei Wochen Urlaub in traumhafter Umgebung! Selbst die ersten vier Tage schlechten Wetters ließen sich in dieser wunderbar eingerichteten und vor allem sehr gepflegten rasen Unterkunft sehr gut aushalten. Die Bilder entsprechen absolut der Wirklichkeit - es ist eher noch schöner. Zudem wurden wir von Agathe und Jean-Noel, den Besitzern der Gites, sehr familiär betreut, sie standen jederzeit für Fragen oder Wünsche bereit und wir haben schöne Stunden miteinander verbracht. Wir können die Unterkunft nur jedem empfehlen.

Excellent séjour chez Agathe et Jean-Noël

L'accueil chaleureux de nos hôtes, le site calme et préservé au milieu des vignes, la qualité de la restauration des bâtiments et l'élégance de la décoration, la proximité de Carcassonne et de différent sites, ont contribué à rendre ce séjour parfait. Nous recommandons absolument cette adresse!!

Wohltuende Ruhe & mehr inmitten der Natur

Auf dem Gelände eines ehemaligen Weinguts befinden sich im Hauptgebäude drei aneinandergrenzende Appartements sowie die Wohnung der Besitzer Jean-Noël und Agathe. Umgeben von zahlreichen Schatten und Erfrischung spendenden Bäumen, einer Wiese mit kleinem Swimmingpool genießt man wohltuende Stille, die Aromen des Südens, den Gesang der Vögel und eine spezielle Atmosphäre, die sofort jeden Stress vergessen lässt. Jean-Noël und Agathe, die uns offenherzig begrüßten und mit denen wir gleich am ersten Abend bei Käse und Wein Freundschaft schlossen, sind perfekte Gastgeber. Es mangelt an nichts, die Appartements sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Schlafzimmer im ersten Stock geräumig, ebenso das Bad. Durch die räumliche Nähe entsteht auch sofort Kontakt zu den Gästen der anderen Appartements, zumal die Tische vor den Eingängen nur ein paar Meter voneinander entfernt sind. Wir haben das bewusst so ausgesucht, wer im Urlaub lieber vollkommen ungestört bleiben möchte, sollte die Domaine de Curé nicht buchen. Wir empfanden die Nähe als absolute Bereicherung. Toller Service: Ca. 20 verschiedene Weine der Region halten Jean-Noël und Agathe für ihre Gäste vorrätig, allesamt von sehr guter, individueller Güte und hervorragend im Preis/Freude Verhältnis. Die Tipps für Ausflüge, Einkauf und Restaurants, die wir von den beiden in dieser nur so dahinfliegenden Woche bekamen, waren allesamt erstklassig. Es ist ein Glücksfall, daß wir Jean-Noël und Agathe kennenlernen konnten, die Domaine de Curé ist wirklich etwas Besonderes, so daß wir jederzeit gerne wieder dorthin reisen würden.

Wonderful relaxing stay

We arrived at 'La Forge' after a long journey to be met by the owners, Jean-Noel and Agathe who welcomed us and showed us around the gite which was spotless, very roomy and with all the facilities you could want to enjoy your stay. We then had a tour of the grounds which are extensive and very well laid out offering shade and areas to enjoy the beautiful weather and extensive views, there is even a covered area to park your car. Inside the gite the attention to detail and style is amazing, one of the best if not the best we have stayed in. The location of the property is superb near enough to Carcassonne and the Canal Du Midi to make sight seeing easy yet far enough away to enjoy peace and tranquillity amongst the vineyards. We cycled from the gite to the Canal du Midi and then into Carcassonne, brilliant. Our hosts took the time and trouble to contact us before we visited with information about the area, a list of restaurants, 'La Bergerie' at Aragon is a must 134 Euros for two, four courses with wine make this Michelin starred restaurant a must. The recommendations continued the artisan butcher in Villemoustaussou is an experience and the best boulangerie patisserie in the area at Pont Rouge requires a daily visit. Jean-Noel and Agathe have an extensive knowledge of the local wines and stock some of the best at the gite for you to buy at the same price you would pay at the domain. We arrived home after our stay, relaxed, refreshed with lasting memories of our stay in this wonderful area. We have no hesitation in recommending this property, superb.
