Apartamento de 2 habitaciones ubicado en una casa de campo convertida de 1900. Damos la bienvenida a familias, negocios, cazadores y pescadores. Este es un apartamento en la planta baja con amplio estacionamiento para botes y remolques, una cocina completa con microondas, cafetera y tostadora. Hay un gran porche delantero cerrado para disfrutar de su café de la mañana o el juego de cartas de la noche. 2 dormitorios, el primero con 1 cama queen y dos futones, perfecto para niños y adultos más pequeños. El segundo dormitorio tiene 2 camas individuales con espacio para un colchón de aire si necesita espacio adicional para dormir. Colchón de aire disponible bajo petición. El espacio es de 4 habitaciones, 2 dormitorios, sala de estar y cocina Lg, aproximadamente 600 pies cuadrados con área de despensa / lavandería y baño completo.

Perfect location, and perfectly comfortable

This little apartment was just right for our family of four on our ski vacation. Two bedrooms plus LR and kitchen so plenty of room, very comfy, washer/dryer and room for gear, easy parking... Exactly what we needed. Plus clear, punctual communication from the owner, Ann. A great experience!

Adequate for a short stay; a challenge for a long one

The apartment was not as comfortable as I expected after reading the prior reviews. The positive aspects of the place were its location to the places our family wanted to visit. Approximately 30 minutes from Great Barrington, Lee, and West Stockbridge. It was a decent size but not large enough for six people as described. The space was basically clean but the rugs were dirty. This should be remedied especially if you have small children or allergies. The yard was spacious but barren. The porch was large with plenty of chairs and two tables. The internet service was fast and the kitchen had all the basic amenities. One of my major complaints were the beds and pillows. They were very uncomfortable. After a long day of activities, a family wants and needs a good rest to enjoy the next day. We were all tired and cranky in the morning. My second complaint was the number of extension cords in the living room and in one of the bedrooms because some of the outlets were not working. This really should be repaired for safety reasons. Lastly, the "pet friendly" means that you can bring your pet, but cannot leave the pet unattended. This limited the places we could visit. Overall, I think the apartment is a good place to crash if you are staying for a weekend. However, any time longer would require some of the updates mentioned above. Compared to other places we have stayed in the past summers, this was the least liked and overpriced. In sum, even though we did not rest as much as we would have liked, we did enjoy our vacation.

You are welcome to leave your pet in apt, though they do have to be in a crate. I have had dogs with separation anxiety create havoc in apt. The rugs are vacuumed thoroughly after each stay and washed monthly. The yard is 2 acres with plenty of room for your dog to run. There are sleeping areas for up to 6 people, 4 adults is probably comfortable, though I have had 8 people stay. There is 1 extension cord in the living room and 1 in the bedroom because there are only two outlets. and they are needed for the fans and the AC I just installed. I just put all new pillows on beds in June, and periodically do so. I have had several guests stay long term of 4 weeks and more with much success and comfort. It is a 1900"s converted farmhouse. Please feel free to ask any questions. We welcome and accommodate families, pets and long term guests. Happy traveling.

Simple place with convenient location

We stayed for three nights. The home was very comfortable and the location was great. The weather was hotter than expected (though the home stayed cool enough during the day) but Ann let me know she would be installing a window AC unit just to be sure we were comfortable. The home was very clean and had all the essentials plus some. The WiFi was powerful and there were lots of food options nearby. The lake is across the street, and not visible from the home, but it is a 5 minute drive to a lovely park with swimming access. It was very relaxing. We enjoyed our visit.

Ann was very nice and accommodating check in wasn't until 4 however she allowed me to check in earlier as I contacted her that I had arrived earlier. The place is nice and clean however you do not have TV so make sure you have something to entertain yourself. The shower handles takes some getting used to. The location is good and within walking distance to family dollar and ice cream.

Exactly as you see

Comfortable and a great location. A 15 minute ride to the Mount Greylock visitors center for hiking, plus mini golf and an ice cream shack nearby. The rooms were comfortable and we had all the space we needed. I loved being able to bring the dog.

Perfect fit for us!

We were attending a family wedding nearby, and the apartment fulfilled our needs: clean, comfortable, nicely located. It also had all of the necessaries, such fridge, oven, washer/dryer and small appliances. Living room and porch gave us plenty of space to roam. The price is right as well. We recommend.

Comfortable Accommodating and Affordable

I spent 3 nights here and tried 2 of the 3 beds which were very comfy as is the entire apartment. Located close to Pittsfield, Lenox and Stockbridge you are in the best of the Berkshires. Ann was quick to respond and very accommodating. Because it is on the main road there is a little road noise but I was not bothered by it and I live in a very quiet remote area.

The rental was adequate for our needs. The shower controls were awkward to use and I couldn't connect to wifi. There is a nice lake on the other side of the road as advertised but there is no view from the house or lake access. The porch is nice.

There is new high speed internet just added. Lake access is just down the road. And I am next door if there is any concerns or needs, but you do have to call me, otherwise I can't fix things.

Both good and not as good

The positives: The apartment was very clean; the beds were comfortable. Finding it was easy and it was even ready a couple hours early. And, it's right next door to an ice cream shop! The negatives: The futon (for the 5th person) was uncomfortable; the wifi signal was weak to non-existent; we couldn't get the shower to work/couldn't make the hot water work. The apartment was fine for us as we were only there one night and it was very reasonably priced. We basically needed a place to sleep. We might have been disappointed if we needed a place to hang out. It's worth noting that it's right on a main highway through town. It didn't bother us, but you could definitely hear the road noise.

New high speed internet and WiFi added in space, Futons are available for children and small frame adults. Sleeps 4 adults comfortably with 2 futons available as well as air mattress if you need more space. Plenty of hot water and new handheld shower massage. Great home base for Berkshire exploration

A friend and I stayed here while attending Wilco's Solid Sound Festival. It worked out beautifully --- a comfortable, well equipped apartment where we could get a good night's sleep, check in to the outside world via wifi and enjoy breakfast and relax before heading out for a day at the festival. Don't expect the latest modern decor, but lots of old-fashioned comfort.

The area is Beautiful and always something to do whether you are looking for an artistic venue of museum, theater and symphony's. Or enjoying nature at one of several lakes, waterways, Mountains or natural formations like Balance rock or the Cobbles. So many things you will be back. This space is located within walking distance or a short ride to many of the great attractions located on Rt 7 in Lanesbourgh. We also offer plenty of space to park your boat & trailers.

Located on Rt 7 within 20 mins of Willaimstown & Lenox. Ski, Fish, Hunt, & Hike. as well as Theater and Museums. We welcome hunters and Fisher people. Plenty of room for your boat trailers, Winter time we are close to snowmobile trails, and snowshoeing areas. The lakes around here have record fish, and hunting is wonderful.
