Situado en Orange, una ciudad de 30,000 habitantes en el corazón de la Provenza, famosa por su teatro romano y un festival de ópera de fama mundial cada mes de julio.

Ofrecemos alquilar la planta baja de una pequeña casa de pueblo, amueblada con encanto, un apartamento de 35 m².

Muy cerca del corazón de la ciudad, en el centro.

Het appartement was goed uitgerust. Een grote supermatkt lag om de hoek en in 10 minuten lopen was je in het centrum. Zeer positief.Ondanks dat in de adverrentie airco wordt genoemd was die er niet. Met 35 graden overdag was het snachts puffen in bed ondanks de aanwezige ventilator.Wat volgens mij ook vermeld had moeten worden is dat de hoogte van de plafonds laag was en de doorgang naar de slaapkamer zelfs te laag voor mij met 1 meter 86 langte. De vruendelijke eigenaar houdt 3 of 4 katten in de tuin, die ook gebruik maken van de loungebank op het terras.

Comfy apartment in Orange with helpful host

The apartment has a comfy bed, big shower, washing machine and dishwasher and refrigerator, a nice patio and location across the street from a large grocery store (named Casino). Our host, Jean-Michel, greeted us with a carafe of wine and was helpful in suggesting things to see. We had no problem finding free on-street parking right behind the apartment. I would not recommend parking in the Casino grocery parking lot, as there were some homeless people living in vehicles in that lot. We were guests in November, so parking may be different at other times of the year. Travelers should be aware that you will be entering the property from the garage door, and that door faces a one-way street. That said, we kept Jean-Michel aware of our progress toward Orange, and he promptly opened the garage door when we rang the doorbell.

Eine Wohlfühl-Oase

Die Wohnung ist zentrumsnah, 10 Minuten Fußweg zum Zentrum, und ist mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet.Der Casino-Supermarché liegt auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite. Die Boulangerie liegt 200 Meter weiter Ecke Straße nach Avignon. Wir haben die vierzehn Tage in der Rue de la Paix sehr genossen, auf der Terrasse zu sitzen, in den kleinen aber feinen Garten zu blicken, abends bei einem Glas Rosé der Hausgrille zu lauschen und die mit unzähligen Lämpchen geschmückte Weinlaube zu betrachten. Monsieur Michel ist ein freundlicher, hilfsbereiter, diskreter Vermieter.Auch gefiel uns das offensichtlich sehr gute nachbarschaftliche Verhältnis durch den Zaun. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und werden die Wohnung im Freundeskreis weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ce fut un séjour régalant à tout point de vue,une pointe de regret en quittant ce bel endroit.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cette propriété très bien entretenue Il ya tout le confort et le quartier est très agréable à proximité de la gare et un bus va en centre ville,ce qui est très pratique! On était à Orange pour les Chorégies et ce très beau studio nous a beaucoup plu. L'accueil fut très sympathique.Cet endroit est à recommander. Merci encore à Jean et ses amis Marie

Excellent holiday

We really enjoyed our stay here in Orange.Our host was very welcoming and friendly and greeted us with a very welcome bottle of water and carafe of wine. We found the property comfortable and well equipped and with a lovely shady veranda which was very welcome as the weather was very hot and sunny.The location is excellent as it is quiet but only a 10 to 15 minute walk into the centre which we did most days. We tried several restaurants-our favourites were' Le Petit Patio' and 'Le Paradis'. We loved the Amphitheatre and the gardens and all the squares shaded by Plane trees. The Thursday market was excellent and there was always something going on.Having a supermarket just over the road was also very convenient,but the Carrefour hypermarket is only a 5 minute drive just off the Avignon road where there are also many other large stores and the 'Palais du Vin' with a huge selection of local wines. We enjoyed visiting the local towns and villages sampling the local restaurants and tasting the local wines and exploring the abundant Roman remains. We especially liked Avignon for the Papal Palace ,famous bridge and Rocher des Doms; Arles for the Van Gogh paintings and Roman Arena and theatre; Vaison Le Romaine for its Romain remains and medieval village; Rousillon for its medieval village and fantastic ochre landscape and Chateauneuf du Papes and Beaumes de Venise for their wonderful wines.There is so much to see and do in this area and we had wonderful weather throughout our stay. We would thoroughly recommend it!

Nice, peaceful place

It was our second visit to this studio. You really feel welcome when you come to this studio. Everything is in order. There is all you need and a little more. The studio is very clean, very comfortable beds and a very clean bathroom and kitchen corner. The host is very kind and you feel welcome. The place is ideal for going to one of the wonderful operas. Parking just outside the studio.

Parfait!

Un excellent accueil par Mr Michel! J'ai passé un très bon séjour dans un studio très propre et très bien équipé. Situé à proximité du centre ville et la gare dans un quartier calme. Et aussi très bien situé pour fair des randonnées en velo. Très recommandé!!

The Perfect Home Away from Home!!

This lovely little place was in an ideal location with EVERY comfort provided! Great grocery store across the street, always warm and comfortable (despite 0-3 degree C temps at night!), and only short 10" walk from downtown! Completely safe & well lit walk even at 9 pm. Will stay here again!!

belle location

agréable studio bien situé dans la ville, très bien équipé, propre et avec une terrasse que nous avons appréciée. Je recommanderais cette location à mes proches. En ce qui concerne les activités nous nous sommes promenées aux alentours mais nous étions surtout là pour participer à une fête de famille.

Perfect for a couple exploring this great area

The apartment is comfortable and well equipped; compact, yet perfectly large enough for a couple. The patio and garden are beautiful, providing extra space to enjoy the warm weather. There is some noise from the road in front and back, as well as from trains in the distance, yet this didn't disturb us. The centre of Orange was only a short stroll away, with its lively summertime Thursday evenings and impressive Roman amphitheatre. The area itself is great for exploring by car and/or on bike. Iconic wine areas, historic towns/cities, the Rhone and tributaries - all with Mont Ventoux looming above. We could leave our bicycles safely in the garage and managed to find a car parking space in the small road without much difficulty. Friendly and helpful owners lived in the building without intruding at all. We really enjoyed our visit and thoroughly recommend it.

Apartment close to Orange Centre

Nice apartment, well placed within walking distance of Orange Town Centre. Clean & well kept. Parking is available outside the apartment on the road. Friendly owner, well kept facilities, secure entry/exit, plenty of lounging/outdoor seating space overlooking garden with rustic french interior. Supermarket across road. Would benefit from a set of instruction manuals for the appliances available to guests and further information on nearby attractions/activities/places to visit/events taking place in Orange. Plenty of good quality restaurants in town. Being able to stand outside the Roman Amphitheatre listening to Placido Domingo 'warm up' before going on stage to perform La Traviata was an unexpected pleasure!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Wir waren im Juli 2016 dort. Die Ferienwohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Sie ist gut eingerichtet und bleibt auch an warmen Sommertagen angenehm kühl. Auf der Terrasse unter dem Wein zu sitzen, war einfach schön! Eingekauft haben wir im Casino Supermarkt ganz in der Nähe, man kann ihn schnell zu Fuß erreichen. Auch in die Innenstadt von Orange ist es zu Fuß nicht sehr weit. Jean Michel ist ein angenehmer, hilfsbereiter Vermieter.

Nice place to stay

It is called a studio, but it's more a small flat with a bedroom with very good beds. It was very hot while we were in Orange, but the studio was always with a nice temperature, not to hot. It's easy to walk to the center of Orange, but I will say a little more than 10 minutes, more like 15 minutes. The studio was very clean and there were all you needed. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back to the nice and peaceful garden.

Très bonne adresse

Cela fait deux années consécutives que j'ai le plaisir, avec un amie, de séjourner chez MrMichel. Ce studio en rez de jardin est particulièrement agréable, l'intérieur est propre et bien agencé. Très bien situé (à deux pas de la gare, si on veux délaisser la voiture par exemple pour visiter Avignon ) Le contact avec Mr Michel est très sympathique. Je ne peux que conseiller ce choix. Lovely Orange Apartment

this is a lovely small apartment for enjoying Orange and the nearby countryside. My wife and I like to cook and we were able to shop at the local markets, bakery and butcher (as well as the supermarket across the street). The apartment is small, but the outside gardens are beautiful and even with the Mistral winds blowing they were a relaxing place to enjoy a bottle of wine and a baguette. Jean Michel let us use his bikes to get around town and see the countryside. He was very helpful prior to our arrival offering suggestions and answering our questions.

EXCELLENT FLAT

A lovely place for a couple to stay. Access to the garden was especially nice. Friendly owner and central for shopping and the sights. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a relaxing break in a historical town.

An enjoyable stay

We stayed here for a week in the middle of June. The weather was unseasonably hot, but the apartment was quite comfortable. As pointed out in the description, the ceiling height is quite low, but we never noticed it. The apartment it well located between the city centre, the train station and the bus station. The owner also provides a couple of bikes which we used to visit some nearby villages (itineraries available at the tourism office). The windows are double glazed, so noise isn't a problem. There is a big supermarket over the road, which is very handy. The kitchen was more than adequate for our needs. The bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom is quite small, but certainly adequate. The icing on the cake is the fabulous al fresco area. A large outdoor dining table and chairs in front of a large lawn and pleasant garden. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

Attractive studio apartment set in a lovely garden

The apartment was very comfortable and cool despite the high summer temperatures during the week we were there. It offered everything we wanted for a summer holiday and was situated within close walking distance of a major supermarket and other amenities and tourist attractions offered in Orange. It was clean, well maintained and the owners were very friendly and could not have been more helpful, giving us suggestions of places to visit. We also found a very good restaurant near the Roman Theatre - "A la Maison". We would certainly recommend this apartment to family and friends.

The house is located just 15' from the heart of town and 5' walk from the train station.
It is simple yet very comfortable and can be a great "pied à Terre" to explore this wonderful region of Provence.
