Relaxing stay

Absolutely stunning property with a huge hot tub! Was lovely and cosy inside the property and we all loved our stay the pool table is a great touch!

Lovely spacious house, and the hot tub is amazing. Definitely recommend this property.

We had a fab break in this lovely converted barn, ample space for a large family/group. Nice pub which is only a 5 min walk and a few supermarkets a short drive away. Hosts are really helpful and made our stay really comfortable, highly recommend.

Stunning property, fantastic host and a superb family holiday over Christmas

Keith was a fantastic host and provided all information needed prior to arrival. Check in was prompt and easy. The property is absolutely stunning, lovely and clean with so much space for all the family. The hot tub was a hit and reached 40 degrees - perfect for the cold December weather! Location is ideal and only a 3 minute walk to the local pub which is also lovely. We booked in for NYE for a nice family meal, roaring fire and friendly locals! Thank you for a memorable holiday, we all loved every second.

Not at all as advertised

The property was reasonable but the cleaning need some more attention , we were not able to use the hot tip or the snooker table (which was old and dirty) you have to pay a pound extra each time to play a game . There was no fire or logs so we felt cold at night if you stay up late . The bathrooms are not the quality we used to or we paid for We find it very difficult to find the property because no house name or clear directions in the last step

Misleading online listing - do not plan to return

In summary - not terrible but lots of problems throughout our 1 wk stay. Wifi - is pretty much non existent (so is phone reception). Hot tub - large & kept clean. Pool table - dirty, damaged & £1 per play. Outside - ample parking, bbq & dining table available, small awkward space for spending time in group outside. Pets - outside space not secured for dogs, recieved multiple aggressive complaints about our well behaved dogs from owners & neighbours. Bathrooms - clean but limited hot water, expect a cold shower every day. Kitchen - mostly equipped & clean, faulty dishwasher & oven (1 side doesn't work). Bedrooms - clean, cheap overused mattresses on beds, ample storage in each room. Living space - cramped, uncomfortable sofas, large dining table, large working tv. Other - electricity issues (no power on first night, no lights in some bedrooms for entire wk stay), no control of heating (bathroom floor was dangerously hot overnight)

Great weekend

There were 6 females staying at this property ages from 34 - 63 plenty of room for us all, double beds in 4 of the bedrooms and 1 bedroom with twinbeds 3 bathroom s, the place was amazing although could have done with a decent clean cobwebs and flies in the bedrooms and bathrooms, the kitchen utensils needed a wipe over..outside a huge under cover hot tub seated 10 people which was great...overall we had a lovely relaxing time would rebook again ....

Wonderful stay

Big thank you to Keith and Wendy for making our stay so comfortable. The cottage was clean, had everything as advertised and any questions we had were answered within a few minutes! The hot tub was incredible and there were loads of activities nearby to keep the children entertained. Thank you again!

Spotlessly clean home. 4 double en-suite bedrooms, extremely well equipped kitchen. Pool table & lovely hot tub. Beautiful peaceful garden. Fully enclosed, great for our dog. Lovely walks & nice pub 2 mins walk away. Highly recommend.

Long Staycation Weekend

Thoroughly enjoyed our time staying at this property and Keith and Wendy were lovely hosts. They were very welcoming and helped us whenever we had any issues. The barn was stunning and the perfect venue for us group of friends to spend a long weekend away. The property was clean and the star of the show was the hot tub. Ventured to the local pub Sun INN which is only 5 mins walk and also to the Boathouse for some lunch in Ellesmere situated on the shores of the The Mare lake which was a 5 min drive away. Overall would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a rural retreat and I will be booking again in the future. Thank you once again to Keith and Wendy.

30th Birthday Trip

The location of the house is wonderful, with a lovely local pub and great local walks. The owners were very friendly however there was a slight lack of communication when collecting the keys to the property, which resulted in us sitting outside the house for over an hour. The house is spacious with good facilities and the added bonus of a private hot tub and pool table. However when booking I was under the impression that the property was on its own, but this is not the case. We did experience one night where the neighbours next door were very noisy until around 11pm but other than that the rest of the stay was very enjoyable. We would recommend Oakleigh Farm Barn to our friends and family.

Stay in Shropshire

The property is a great size and very well equipped. The pool table and hot tub were excellent and well used given the weather! We enjoyed the local area especially the proximity to Ellesmere.
