Immaculate apartment above garage, behind charming Craftsman bungalow. Wake up in this bright and airy apartment, ( 675 sq feet) and make breakfast in the full size kitchen. Take your coffee outside and sit by the fountain as you enjoy the morning stillness. After a fun day at the beach or exploring historic Pensacola, relax and watch TV or read a book without the annoying noises of a hotel. When it’s time to retire, snuggle in this comfortable queen size bed with pillow top. Six pillows of varying degrees of firmness provided so you can find one just right! Fold-out twin bed with memory foam topper if you have third guest. Walk in shower with glass doors provide open spacious feeling. Perfect for parents visiting military members, or couple coming in for one of our great festivals!
Vaping is okay outside. Free on street parking. Located in an eclectic, safe and beautiful neighborhood, this is a great place to walk or bike. Three parks within 5 blocks. Five minutes to historic downtown Pensacola, fifteen minutes to the beach or the Naval Air Station, ten minutes to airport. Check out VisitPensacola.com for events going on while you are visiting! Owners live in the 1906 era bungalow on property, so readily available for special requests. We built the apartment for our four children to come visit but love meeting all the wonderful guests we've had since we started renting! Welcome to beautiful Pensacola!

Maureen was a great hostess. The location is super convenient for exploring downtown and close to three mile bridge for getting to the beach. Incredibly comfortable mattress, duvet, pillows etc. The kitchen is stocked with anything you could need for a week's stay.

This cute carriage house was so perfect for my husband and I’s vacation! John and Maureen are such kind and gracious people! They were there to supply us with anything we needed to make our stay the best! It felt so much like home when weren’t exploring Pensacola! I love how modern this little home is and it’s so clean! We had no issues while staying here! It was perfectly close to everything we needed or wanted to visit!

John & Maureen are top notch hosts. From the initial communications to check out and everything between, they were prompt to answer questions and gracious in responses. Their hospitality and courtesy was exceptional, the accommodations are first class, the attention to detail and excellence in the guesthouse are very evident. The guesthouse has a wonderfully coordinated design and decor. The walk in closet and walk in shower are spacious. The bed is superb quality and sleeps great. The bedroom has a convenient and comfortable chair with pull out leg rest that was great for resting or reading, and the living room space is likewise comfortable. The full kitchen has a large island space that is good for setting out bags (shopping, groceries) and for eating. There’s a washer/dryer that’s great for medium size plus loads. The spaces throughout the guesthouse are well lit and the atmosphere is great for relaxing, getting away for a few days, writing retreats or beach time (not far away). The guesthouse is in the East Hill area of Pensacola which is quiet, well kept, good for neighborhood walks, located near a couple of smaller parks, and 10-15 minutes max from downtown, Pensacola Bay, Cordova mall, restaurants and plenty of fun activities.John and Maureen are easy to communicate with, and good people who care about their guests. I highly recommend them and their guesthouse. I reiterate, it’s a great atmosphere!

Our stay at the Comfy Carriage house was amazing from booking until check out. The unit is very clean and exactly as pictured. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with everything including information about Pensacola!

Amazing property

The best description i can give is to say it was more like staying atba second home versus a vacation rental. The rental is in the perfect location, clise enough to anything you want to do, butbprivate enough to relax. It was our second time staying with John and Maureen and it wont be our last.

Beautiful property

This property was beautiful! John and Maureen were great hosts. Maureen met us upon our arrival, showed us the property and made sure our questions were answered. We had everything we needed. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet, it was nice for morning runs. Highly recommended!!

Perfect!

Maureen and John are hands down the best hosts we’ve stayed with. They were communicative, helpful, and just lovely people. The cottage is clean, charming, and well situated in Pensacola. We walked a lot while we were there, enjoying the neighborhood and nearby entertainment and restaurants. We came for the Blue Angels homecoming air show at NAS Pensacola, and Maureen and John gave us loads of helpful hints that improved our overall experience. We’ll be back :)

The hosts were so kind. We had to evacuate for a hurricane so to have a safe and beautiful place to stay was so awesome.. They took the time to show us all the amenities of the apartment. The apartment had everything we could have possibly needed. We definitely stay again when in the area... .

Couples getaway

The place was super clean and nice everything was provided they even had Netflix with a ion for the cottage so we could without a code Mrs Maureen the lady that owns it was very very nice even had a sign with our names on it pointing to our cottage I recommend any couples that want a cozy getaway to stay here I would give it a 10 star if they had it

Amazing getaway!!!

This carriage house met and exceeded our expections. The host Maureen and John were very welcoming and accomadating, making check in and the overall experience a breeze. If your looking for a getaway with your spouse or even on your own, this place is a must. Close to everything, but far enough away to be a peaceful retreat.

Clean, Cozy Pensacola Carriage House

The hosts are nice and accommodating, while also respectful of privacy and space. The rental is exactly what we hoped it would be and the ad and pictures are right on. It’s close enough to the beach and shops and restaurants while not being right in it. Nice area. It’s perfect for one or two people. My husband and I enjoyed our long weekend here very much.

The best rental by far!

Maureen met us at the driveway when we pulled in. Gave us a tour of the property and showed us where to find everything in the rental. Place was as described on VRBO and we liked how clean and neat everything was. Very enjoyable stay and we felt very comfortable and at home. Neighborhood was quiet and and not far from Pensacola Beach at all. Great location and even greater host. We will rent this property when we return to Pensacola again without any hesitation.

Wonderful stay!

Maureen was an awesome host! She was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Maureen even offered us early check-in and late check-out as a courtesy since she had no other guests arriving right after us, which was incredibly generous and made our stay even more convenient. However, there are a few things to keep in mind regarding parking. The parking is on the street, and there's quite a walk from the garage apartment to the car, which made carrying bags and heavy items challenging. Additionally, if it rains, walking to and from the car can be a bit inconvenient. The road is quite narrow, so there's always a concern that someone might scratch the car, and two cars can't be parked in front of each other without blocking the way. Despite these minor concerns, Maureen's hospitality made up for it, and we had a great stay overall.

Perfect place & peaceful getaway

We absolutely loved our stay! The place was super nice and very clean. The owners are so welcoming, kind, and helpful. My husband and I wanted somewhere quiet and peaceful to stay for our anniversary and this was exactly that. We would definitely stay here again!

Birthday trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jim and Maureen’s cottage. The apartment was clean and organized. They made it personal by putting up a couple of birthday signs for my fiancé. The location was excellent to get to crab island and Pensacola beach. The restaurants around there were great! We had a blast and can’t wait to come back!

Carriage House will have you dreaming of a tiny house of your own!

What a fabulous trip! We experienced a top notch stay at the Carriage House. Greeted when we arrived with a sign and a tour! The owners have created a perfect space with everything you could ever need for a short stay. We were centrally located between PCC and the ocean! Would definitely stay here again and again! Thanks Maureen for being so kind!

Very clean

Clean property, wonderful hosts. Maureen and John were great!! Towels were super soft. Walkin shower, larger closet. Comfortable bed. Kitchen had a good supply of dishes.
