Long Ledge está situado en Bembridge y está a la vuelta de la esquina de Forelands Beach. Está amueblado de forma confortable y cuenta con cocina, salón / comedor, salón acristalado, 1 dormitorio con cama extragrande y baño privado con ducha, 2 habitaciones con dos camas individuales (las camas individuales están equipadas con una cremallera) 1 con baño en suite y cuarto de baño familiar. La casa también se beneficia de un montón de aparcamiento fuera de la carretera, y un jardín cerrado.

Ubicado, a poca distancia de este pueblo virgen, así como de las playas de arena y del puerto donde puede realizar excursiones de pesca. El Crab and Lobster Inn se encuentra muy cerca de la propiedad y está escondido en Bembridge Ledge con un jardín con vista al mar, donde podrá cenar en un ambiente relajante con vistas impresionantes.

Bembridge, situado en el punto más oriental de la isla (Forelands), es un pueblo tranquilo que ofrece una variedad de tiendas locales, restaurantes y pubs familiares. Perfect place for a few days away

perfect place to stay for the IOW festival - 30 mins drive into Newport but it was nice to go back to peace and quiet. Few cobwebs and mirrors were very smeary but apart from that, house was perfectly adequate.

Great home

This is a great property, well equipped, bedrooms are spacious.. beds are so comfy! Slept really well. Fantastic pub 4 minutes walk... Crab and Lobster where you can have great food and look out into the sea. We loved it.

Close to teach and shops.

This is our third time to Long Ledge, lovely view from the main bedroom of fields and sea. Three good size bedrooms, two upstairs with en-suite, bedroom has a shower room. Garden large enough for children to play in, plus outside table and chairs to enjoy meals. Having a conservatory is an added bonus in case of rain, all in all a great place to enjoy.

Very comfortable stay in Bembridge.

Long Ledge is a very spacious house in an excellent and quiet location in Bembridge. Walkable to the beach, the centre of the village and to two pubs. It is also very well equipped particularly in the kitchen. The only minor complaints are the shower room downstairs could do with updating, some redecoration is needed and the carpet in the main bedroom has dirty marks. We particularly enjoyed the sunny conservatory and comfortable seating in the reception room.

A FAMILY HOLIDAY

This is the second time at Long Ledge and have booked for next year. Within walking distance of the sea and shops. Three double bedrooms with three bathrooms. Bedrooms are a good size and good bed linen, the only downsize the bath towels could be larger!!! The garden was well attended this year, so made use of the outside table and chairs for lunch. All in all, a well presented home ideal for a small family to enjoy.

Great family stay

Lovely large family bungalow in the perfect spot in Bembridge. 2 min walk to beach and local shop. Lovely conservatory on the back of the house, kitchen very large and had everything we wanted. Downstairs bedroom and bathroom perfect for elderly relative (downstairs bathroom a little tired) Bed arrangement wasn't right when we arrived but a quick call to the office and someone arrived to change them within 30 mins. Nice back garden, not overlooked and large drive away. Both upstairs bathrooms had lovely new ensuites. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Family Fortnight

We have stayed in Bembridge before, so know the area well (have relatives living in the village). Long Ledge is the most comfortable property we have hired. Only one (very small) niggle - there were 6 of us (4 adults & 2 children), and so we had to move chairs from the conservatory into the lounge - no one likes being in the middle of a 3 seater sofa or sitting on a foot-stall. However, that aside, the beds were comfy and the garden a delight. Thank you!

Long Ledge Bembridge.

My wife and I stayed in Long Ledge for 6 nights in May. Long Ledge is a large detached bungalow with two large bedrooms upstairs both with on-suite and one large bedroom on the ground floor with the bathroom across the hallway, this property is ideally suited for a family of 4 plus grandparents. We particularly enjoyed the raised decking with calming view of the adjacent field and the sea in the background. We are told Bembridge is one of the largest village in England. There are two pubs nearby and they offer good food and are open every day all year round. If you like walking this is the place to stay as Bembridge is mainly flat. We enjoyed our stay and may return.

A wonderful week!

Booked out of desperation when a holiday on the island from another company fell through but so pleased we did.The cleanest cottage we have stayed in (and we've stayed in many over the years!)and the bed was the most comfortable of any I've slept in! Lovely open plan lounge and diner and well equipped kitchen. The side alleyway under cover alongside the kitchen was useful for storage and sandy things. Lovely to sit in the conservatory with a cup of tea and great having several bathrooms. Bedrooms comfortable and nice garden. Enjoyed eating on the decking even though we needed to keep a close eye on curious toddlers with the steps! Easy to park on the drive which you don't always get with holiday lets.Shops in easy reach and nice walk to the beach.Only thing to note is if travelling with children there aren't things like plastic crockery and cutlery that might have been useful...not a problem here as we brought our own for the baby and the others were careful! Brought own travel cot and highchair etc but knew we'd have to so was fine.Many thanks for a wonderful week!

Lovely house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Long Ledge which was comfortable and roomy. Enough space for grandparents, parents and 2 energetic youngsters. Could have been improved with more kitchen equipment - casserole dishes with lids, for example - and a longer washing line to cope with all the clothes needed by a 2 and 4 yr old. We were also promised a stair gate that never materialised and asked for 2 single beds upstairs that were left as a double. These are minor things that did not detract from our holiday.

A long awaited family holiday

The house and location on a very quiet road were perfect. A stones throw away from a lovely pub with great food. The house was ideal for myself being disabled as I did not need to go up stairs , everything was on one level. With an addition of a seat in the the down stairs bathroom and kitchen it worked very safely for me. The reclining leather sofa in the living /family room was wonderful. We made use of the log burner just missing a cup of Hot Chocolate . All the beds and linen very comfortable, and an array of white fluffy towels. Dining Table wonderful size to sit around chatting eating our family meals , drinking local grown and made wine. The house was very peaceful and calming , it enabled you to relax . I would recommend to other disabled , stick using people. We had a much needed family holiday in a beautiful house. Thank You.

FELT AT HOME, CLEAN AND WELL PRESENTED. BED ROOMS NOW HAVE DUVETS AND LOOK EXTREMELY INVITING. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE WAS THE GARDEN, WEEDS WERE PLENTIFUL AND NEEDED A GENERAL TIDY UP. WOULD RECOMMEND.

A great family holiday home.

Long Ledge is a great family holiday home with lots of indoor and outdoor space giving everyone the opportunity to be together but not overcrowded. Having three bathrooms was an added bonus! It’s in a great position in a quiet neighbourhood in a terrific coastal village with great pubs etc. we all loved it and would return again.

Best holiday home.

Long Ledge is the nicest holiday home we have ever stayed in. Such a lovely property in a peaceful location. Wish I lived there! The photos on theistic don't really do it justice, it has lots of natural light and is very well appointed. Four of us stayed there, myself and my husband and our adult son and daughter. The 3 bathrooms were a real boon. Reclining sofas in the living room, plenty of garden furniture and a dishwasher made for a relaxing stay. Bembridge is uch peaceful location with lovely unspoilt beaches too. We will definitely stay there again.

Family holiday at Bembridge

Myself and my wife, together with our daughter, her husband and two children had a very comfortable and enjoyable week staying at Long Ledge during August 2021. The house is very well equipped, with quality furnishings, great parking and a well-kept garden. A peaceful location which provided easy access to shops, pubs and sightseeing visits.

Everything you could want for a family holiday. Very clean and comfortable, excellent facilities, and a in a beautiful location. A minor issue was quickly resolved with a phone call to the friendly and helpful owner. Tried to book again but already booked, so will have be quicker next time!

Wonderful house in a perfect location

We have stayed in many holiday homes over the years including several in the Isle of Wight and Long Ledge was the best by far! there was a real 'wow' moment when we arrived- lots of individual touches such as fresh flowers on the table made it feel very special. the house was immaculately clean and well presented, very spacious and extremely well equipped, we stayed for a week with our two adult children and all had plenty of space, the large bedrooms upstairs were ideal for them, each with an ensuite shower. My husband and I were very comfortable in the large bedroom downstairs with another larger shower room nearby. The beds were very comfortable with good quality bedding and pillows. We didn't make much use of the garden as we spent most of the time at beaches but it was well kept and there was plenty of outdoor seating provided. Bembridge is our favourite area in the Isle of Wight and Long Ledge is well located for the village, beach and other local facilities. We hope to stay at Long ledge again soon.
