Pigsty Cottage es un espacioso apartamento dentro de un Orangery, es un encantador lugar privado para quedarse. Bien equipado, con una cama y colchón de primera calidad, estacionamiento seguro y portones eléctricos. Una hermosa ubicación rural, impresionantes jardines. Ideal para visitas a Bath, Stonehenge, Salisbury y Devizes

The Orangery está ubicado en atractivos jardines que brindan paz y tranquilidad para su estadía. Ligero, espacioso y privado desde la casa principal, proporciona un refugio perfecto. Los cómodos sofás y una cocina totalmente equipada lo ayudan a sentirse como en casa. Hay calefacción por suelo radiante para los días más fríos, un gran baño con plato de ducha con dos albornoces encantadores para usar durante su estancia. En el baño encontrará artículos de emergencia, ¡en caso de que haya olvidado algo!

Hemos puesto un par de encantadoras sillas de jardín de mimbre afuera de su puerta, que dan a algunos macizos de flores de colores y un huerto que funciona. El lugar perfecto para el desayuno en un día de verano!

Vivimos en la casa principal y siempre daremos la bienvenida a los visitantes si estamos en la residencia. The Orangery es muy privado desde la casa principal, así que si quieres ir y venir sin tener que charlar, ¡también está bien con nosotros!

Otras cosas a tener en cuenta:

La propiedad no es adecuada para el acceso de discapacitados.
Hay un perro amigable y de buen comportamiento que vive en la casa principal que puede encontrarse en algún momento.
Tenemos un gran jardín, y el trabajo comienza alrededor de las 8 am de un lunes por la mañana para mantenerlo en plena forma, ¡así que esperamos que esto no le moleste!

Steve the host was very welcoming and informed us of the building and places around the area. The property was very clean and comfortable and the host provided us with serveral items for a good breakfast. It is situated in a lovely place, the gardens and buildings are kept immaculate.which makes it a good spot to explore the area. Bath being about 18 miles away however, Bradford on Avon is closer and well worth a visit. Overhaul a very enjoyable two night stay.

Immaculate cottage with everything you could possibly need or wish for. Hosts are very welcoming and friendly. The grounds around the cottage are stunning and it is situated in a fantastic location. Would highly recommend!

A real oasis!

Such a lovely place to stay! We spent a few days here after our marriage and would love to come back again! We met Lizzie and she is very nice, polite and friendly. The gardens are stunning and everything really is just perfect. Extremely highly recommended! Juliette and Yordan.

Had a lovely week in a beautiful quiet location. Lizzie & Steve were very welcoming had helped us with our bags to the property. They very kindly left a welcome pack which was very kind of them. Was a beautiful property very clean felt like going from home to home. Would recommend anyone to stay as was lovely and so welcoming.

Quintessential walled garden dream!!

Wonderful stay in Pigsty Cottage. Steve and Lizzie were very welcoming and even stocked the fridge with a few essentials to get us through the next morning. Lovely and private, we had a car and were in a perfect location to access Stone Henge, Avebury, Bath, Oxford, Stratford on Avon and more. Steve even told us about the Kennet and Avon locks which were an engineering marvel. My husband even got to try his hand (and back) at opening the gates. Cottage was beautifully appointed and spacious - exactly as advertised.

Tranquil getaway with the best hosts

This was our second trip to pigsty cottage and it was just as amazing as the first time. The gardens are immaculate. It is fun and relaxing to explore the grounds, smell the flowers, and watch the many forms of wildlife around the area. You can sit on a bench and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. The cottage is extremely clean and well organized. The layout and design of the cottage makes it a perfect retreat. The bed is very comfortable as well. Pigsty cottage is a wonderful escape. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. The hosts are so nice and are able to provide advice and tips to explore the surrounding area. The extra touch of some milk and butter and other items makes it very special. Thank you and we can’t wait to come back.

Dream Vacation in Ideal Location

Pigsty cottage holds a very special place in our hearts. We received such a warm welcome and were blown away by the beauty of the gardens. The cottage was a wonderful retreat for some much-needed rest and relaxation. It is evident that so much thought has gone into the cottage so that guests enjoy their stay. The little touches of having milk, yogurt, and croissants were so helpful. The cottage was extremely clean and well cared for. We had such a wonderful time exploring the surrounding areas and every time we returned to the cottage we were in awe of the new blooms and tiny little growth that occurred during the day. The cottage is in a great location and is close to other local attractions such as Stonehenge, Bath, Avebury, and the West Kennett Long Barrow. The hosts were so helpful in directing us to the local grocery store, pubs, and nearby attractions. We enjoyed sitting in the gardens and listening to the birds singing and bees buzzing. We could just let the world drift away as we sat with nature in its own rhythm. Thank you so much for a memorable stay. We fell in love with Pigsty cottage, and we will definitely be back.

Wonderful property

I chose this property because of its proximity to Longleat and for the wonderful reviews. I add my own 5 stars as it is exactly what has been described. Several points to consider before staying is if you want to sleep in, bring an eye mask (I always carry one). There are a lot of windows but no darkening shades. Use google maps as my first attempt was made using the map on my iPhone and I ended up in a work zone. When I used google maps (which the owner intended) I had no problem. Also note try to take light luggage as there is a portion of the walk from the car that was pebbles and I had a very heavy suitcase. I had a slightly better strategy when I left and pulled my car closer to the entry into the garden thus cutting down on some of my need to carry my bag. Great property, owners were very responsive.

Steve met us on arrival and check-in was easy. Beautiful grounds and peaceful location. Comfortable and quiet. We had everything we needed to cook as well. We also enjoyed the suggestions for sights in the local area and needed up seeing a few sights that we otherwise would have missed. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Pigsty cottage

I was lucky enough to stay here for over a couple of weeks due to working locally. Pigsty cottage was a haven of peace to return to. Steve & Lizzie were so welcoming and helpful with any query. They provided all the lovely details of a breakfast and milk in the fridge .. The cottage is beautifully decorated and all comforts provided .. with gorgeous towels and bedding. I will treasure my time spent in Pigsty Cottage .. Thank you xx

Loved it

We had a wonderful time from the time we arrived until it was time to go. But sad to go although would really love to come back. Would definitely recommend this place to stay. Stephen and Liz were very welcoming and helpful when ever we asked about something. The gardens are beautiful and you would have a great time what ever the weather. Lots of places of interest around too! Wonderful!

Very beautiful cottage and property

Very beautiful cottage and property. Spacious living area. Large, well-equipped kitchen. Bedroom was cozy and warm. Excellent communication with host, who was very flexible in meeting us even though we arrived later in the evening than expected. Could not have asked for a better experience. We hope to return!
