Glad you enjoyed it. I have tray tables. You only had to ask. I wish I had known you wanted something like this as this issue could have been so easily rectified. That’s why I always make a point of saying - if you need anything at all please let me know. If you ever decide to come back I can make sure that the folding tray tables are on hand for you.

It saddens me that this guest felt the need to leave a one star review. Everything possible was done for their comfort and perhaps they would be more comfortable in a hotel in the future.

Hi Cathy Many thanks for the comments and the review. Regarding a tv in the room it is not possible to have a tv aerial connection without a huge amount of disruption and building work due to the way the property is laid out and the era it was built. The WiFi code is strong and I find most guests bring a tablet or laptop and watch tv that way. It is clearly stated that there is no tv in the flat. I do supply salt, pepper and oil for cooking purposes. On the tea/coffee saga I have found most guests prefer a particular brand and bring their own. However should you have asked me during your stay I would have been very happy to supply you with the brand I use which is Yorkshire tea. I am always at hand to supply whatever you need and I do mention exactly that when I show you to your room. I say “if you need anything else please just let me know”. I felt letting your daughter stay for free deserved a 5 star review. Getting 4 stars really bothers me as I always always try for 5 stars and I felt on this occasion 4 stars was a bit unfair. I gave you 5 stars all the way. I do hope you enjoyed your stay and were able to visit your family who live closeby.

Sorry you felt that way Tina. Children aged 4 and 2 like to play. I provide budget accommodation. Some places that charge £250 plus a night offer silence I believe. Im disappointed too that children’s laughter upset you so much.
