En el cruce de Anjou y Bretaña, entre Nantes y Angers, un alojamiento confortable. 2 habitaciones dobles (una con entrepiso para dormir adicional), amplio salón con chimenea, cocina abierta y bien equipada. Materiales de calidad: piedra, pizarra, azulejos. Vista bonita al paisaje y a los viñedos. Todo en la planta baja. Piscina cubierta privada (agua climatizada durante todo el año, máx. 25-26 ° en invierno). 3 terrazas (sur y oeste) sobre un jardín abierto. Estacionamiento privado bajo refugio. We have had a really nice week. Me and my partner and our two dogs. The fireplace was a real bonus. There was a spacious kitchen with all the facilities and plenty of dishes; we didn’t miss anything. It was a beautiful property where you could enjoy lovely walks. From the house, you could see the horses and donkeys.

Beautiful location, definitely a place to unwind, pool was fabulous and the hosts were extremely accommodating and always on hand if there’s an issue, would definitely stay there again

Relaxing week in the Loire valley

This is a beautiful gite in the French countryside. Surrounded by vineyards, horses and a few chickens. We took it easy this week enjoying the views for art, pool for the kids and walks to the local town for baguettes and wine. The owners were very accommodating and helped made our stay one to remember.

A very enjoyable break

A wonderful gite in the middle of the Loire Valley. Daily swimming, breakfast on the patio watching the chickens and horses grazing in the fields.Super days out to Terra Botanica near Angers and Nantes has so much to see if you follow the green tourist line round the town. Ancenis had some great little restaurants too. Many thanks to Marie for welcoming us and being patient with me practising my French. Thank you also to Laurence who made us feel very welcome. We will be back soon. Thank you Best wishes Kevin and Carolyne

Ideal peaceful setting with the best sunsets!

Lovely hosts. The accomodation is well set out, encouraging you to relax and soak up the beautiful setting. Our daughters loved the horses and we made good use of the indoor pool. Sunsets every evening were beautiful.

Bliss in Loire!

I read another review which called this place a hidden gem. This couldn’t be more true, in fact that name under sells this wonderful and peaceful home deep in the Loire Valley. Your host is very welcoming and makes things very easy. The accommodation is outstanding. Try to keep it a secret though!

We were greeted by the next door neighbour who deputises for Mme De Lamothe if she is away temporarily. She gave us a very thorough tour of the property and explained how everything worked. The property is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. When we tried it the pool was at the perfect temperature and the beds were very comfortable. There was no problem having the dog there and she enjoyed her walks near the property. The outstanding feature of the gite were the 2 bathrooms which were magnificent, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. We had a wonderful time and it was a pleasure to meet and chat with Mme De Lamoth. The nearby town of Ancenis is 10 mins away and boasts a brand new Leclerc supermarket chock full of delicious food. Do not forget to get some carrots as treats for the donkeys and ponies in the field next to the gite. We can't wait to go back.

A hidden gem

Super Gite

Great property in a rural location. Couldn't ask for more. The pool was a real bonus in the hot weather. The ensuites were very modern and all the rooms well appointed. The sunsets were spectacular. We had lovely fresh eggs from the next door neighbour. Would highly recommend this property.

Excellent in every way. Great animals, chickens and horses in the field next door. Indoor pool works well. Interior cool in the hot weather. Good quality modern kitchen. Quiet but local facilities easily accessed. No problems.

Peaceful perfection

What a fantastic holiday we've just had. The booking process and subsequent communication with Laurence, the owner, was spot on. We were warmly greeted on our arrival. The gite itself is incredible. The facilities are above and beyond the description. The indoor pool was soo inviting. We ate well, slept well and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The sunsets were to die for. We would certainly like to return one day, hopefully next year.

third stay - that says it all

This was the 3rd time we stayed in this very nice house. My wife and I enjoyed it very much. The children especially loved the pool and the horses. For children, it is perhaps a bit of a downer that there is not much to do in the immediate vicinity. That is, you always have to drive a few kilometres to keep the children entertained. The Natural'Parc in Nantes and Le Jardin Des Kangourous near Angers come highly recommended. We will certainly be back :-)

D'Anjou Delight

We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and stunning views that the property offered. With 3 patios and spacious grounds there were plenty of vistas to view whilst al fresco dining, including the often mentioned impressive sunsets and the entertaining horses, ponies and chickens. Marie-Odeil & Laurence were very helpful throughout our stay. Thankyou both. The accommodation, including the indoor pool & kitchen, were perfect for our weeks stay. The gite is well positioned to take in the beautiful villages along The Loire. Ancenis is close by for all your grocery needs but Lire, Ouden, Champtoceaux & Saint Florent le Vieil offer great opportunities for a coffee, a drink or a wander. Ancenis also offers direct train service to Nantes, taking less than 20 mins, to enable you to experience the many attractions this city has. Overall, the peace and quiet and great hospitality ensured we had a wonderful time.

A little retreat

Greeted by Marie lovely lady who we had a laugh with even though her english was as limited as our french. The property was a tranquil bliss. The property was spacious and of agood standard, it is in need of a redecoration in the near future as there was damp patches appearing on some of the walls and was starting to look tired in areas. Both bathrooms were of an excellent standard and look like new fits. The beds were not to my liking but i did get an ok sleep on them. The outside space was ample for entertaining and one area led on to the pool, which was a god send in the heat...look its not perfect but would i recommend...yes definitely beautiful little retreat to watch the sunsets with my soppy fiance... i would recommend

Wonderful short holiday

After the welcome by the very nice, helpful and English-speaking landlady and a short tour of the house and the indoor pool, we could swim right away. Approx. 6x6m is also enough for a bit of serious swimming. With the morning view of the vineyard, the ponies and in-house chickens were not far away. In the open plan living room with dining and cooking area we found everything important, clean and tidy. The washer-dryer was functional and clean, so we came home with almost completely clean clothes. There is a small supermarket in the village, which has fresh fruit and vegetables as well as a butcher. The kangaroo garden, about 45 minutes away, is recommended. All in all, a really nice stay that makes you want "more". We would also like to make a special mention of the neighbour who helped us in word and deed during the absence of the landlords. Thank you very much for this wonderful short holiday!

Great quality gite in an excellent setting

Gite is a traditional outbuilding which has an excellent quality renovation with a pool in what was a barn. It's set amongst vineyards on gently rolling hills which make it such a peaceful, idyllic place. The owner (Laurence) was there to welcome us and explain the detail. Very well equipped with more than enough of everything even if you were up to capacity. You are free to wander around the large estate that surrounds her imposing Manoir. There are a variety of horses/ponies who are fenced off and adorable. There are also about 8 free range hens and a pot bellied pig. All quiet, paeceful and don't bother you at all - although some of the chickens may appear frrom nowhere if you rattle packaging whilst on one of the patios, but this only adds to the simple pleasure of the experience here. Never been to a gite with an indoor pool before but it provides an excellent way to cool down whilst not risking sunburn! We may well be back.

Wat een geweldig huis! We werden welkom geheten door de geweldige eigenaresse Laurence met een fles wijn in de koelkast. Het zwembad wad zalig, wat een luxe. De omgeving is prachtig en rustgevend met de paarden in de tuin. Een groot winkelcentrum op 11 minuten rijden. Een ontzettend mooie dierentuin op 16 minuten rijden. Het was een geweldige week.

Traumhafte Woche inmitten der Weinberge

Was hatten wir für eine schöne Zeit! Der erste Blick morgens war auf die grasenden Pferde auf der Koppel, danach ein Spaziergang mit unserer Hündin durch die Weinberge, bevor es zur Schlossbesichtigung ging. Abkühlen konnten wir uns im Pool und den Apéritif auf der Terrasse einnehmen. Es war einfach traumhaft, ganz viel Ruhe, Erholung, Natur und Kultur. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Wir hatten ein sehr schöne Woche in der Wohnung, die mit viel Geschick eingerichtet ist. Geschmackvoll wird Altes mit Neuem kombiniert. In der Küche fehlte es an nichts. Wer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit mag ist hier am richtigen Ort. Wir wurden freundlich von Marie-Odile empfangen, die uns auch Tipps geben konnte. Der Pool ist ein Highlight. Für uns war die Ruhe und die Natur wichtig. Wir konnte Kuhreiher und einen Wiedehopf beobachten.

Au calme, vu sur les prés, maison grande et tres fonctionnelle.Un endroit parfait pour se ressourcer, avec tout ce qui faut a environ 10mn ( decathlon, leclerc...).A louer sans aucune crainte.

Hébergements conforme a la description. Hôte attentif et réactif en message/appel. Reçu par la voisine qui est tres gentille et a l'écoute. Nous avons passer un tres bon séjour complètement dépaysant au mileu des animaux (âne, poney, poule...) Et la piscine vraiment un plus 😍
