Este maravilloso adosado Mas francesa con 4 habitaciones y su 8. 5 x 4. 5m piscina se encuentra en 3 acres de tierra. Se tiene profundas vistas de las montañas y se encuentra a pocos pasos del corazón de Ceret que tiene el mayor mercado de los sábados en la zona, lleno de fruta fresca, verduras y artesanías locales.
El debe ver ciudad de Perpignan es solo un fácil 20 minutos en coche o por qué no probar el bus local. Hermosas playas del Mediterráneo y la frontera española son a la vez de fácil acceso.
El Mas está completamente cerrado y es apto para toda la familia. Los niños pueden correr libremente y jugar mientras los adultos se relajan en la piscina privada. Un montón de mesas y sillas son suministrados, así como camas de sol para hacer su estancia más cómoda.

We are a family with three children (aged 23, 17 and 15). Lovely property in a beautiful setting. Lots of space. The outside area is lovely, the new covered area is a fantastic space and the pool is great! The property is better than the description and pictures suggest. There are 3 showers and toilets, which I'm not sure is clear. Also, beach towels were provided. The house had everything you could wish for, cleaning products etc were a bonus! It was only a 15-20 minute walk into Ceret, which is a beautiful little town with a great Saturday market and Modern Art Museum. Communication with Remi was excellent and it was lovely to meet Marianne, the owner. 100% would recommend.

Superb family holiday house

A super place to stay.The house looks small from the outside but is extremely spacious inside and really well equipped.The air conditioning works well,even the kitchen knives are sharp,and there is a whole drawer of spices !To commend two other things: 1.The garden is wonderful for children,and really well maintained. 2.Our host Remi gave us really good advice which was relevant to our group and was most attentive. Definately a possibility for a return visit.

Emplacement exceptionnel, c'est très beau, calme, spacieux et très bien équipé. Un seul conseil au propriétaire, remplacer le lit d'appoint pour la 9e personne par un vrai lit 1 place.

il y a 4 chambres - deux avec des lits double Une chambre avec des lits appoint Bureau chambre avec un lit simple IKEA qui peut etre élargir en double - pas pour des adultes pendant une semaine Il n'apas 2 salles de bains Une salle de bains à l'étage et dans une chambre un receveur de douche avec un demi parois en verre meme pas un cabine de douche! Une des toilettes séparées et dans cette meme chambre! Difficile avec 4 couples! L'annonce n'est pas correct

Perfektes Urlaubsziel und liebevolles Haus

Zu 9. mit zwei Familien verbrachten wir im Mai 11 Tage in Mas Sifon. Das Haus ist perfekt und sehr hübsch ausgestattet, es fehlte uns an nichts. Der Garten ist liebevoll angelegt und bietet verschiedene Abschnitte und viel Freiraum, den unsere Kinder ausgelassen genutzt haben. Dank des beheizten Pools (24 Grad) konnten wir im Mai schon baden. WLAN (Wifi) funktionierte sehr gut. Zu erwähnen ist, dass es im OG ein Badezimmer und ein separates WC gibt, im EG eine separate Dusche und ein separates WC mit kleinem Waschbecken, aber kein zweites, vollwertiges Badezimmer. Wir konnten uns dennoch gut damit arrangieren. Die Umgebung ist reizvoll: Ceret selbst ist hübsch (man sollte den Markt Samstags nicht verpassen), das örtliche Kirschfest war toll! Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Verständigung auf Englisch funktionierte gut. Einen Mietwagen sollte man aufgrund der Entfernungen dazu buchen. Wir danken für den schönen, entspannten Aufenthalt (insbesondere für die ungeplante, unkomplizierte Möglichkeit zu verlängern) und überlegen schon jetzt, wann wir wiederkommen können!

Very nice house

We rented the house for two weeks. Two families with 5 children, 9 persons all together.Excellent stay with enough space for everybody. Most of the days were spent outdoors, in the lovely garden, but the house do not lack anything inside either. We loved the the swimming pool, one of the children (6) learned to swim this summer. Enough space outdoor so our two babies had the opportunuty to sleep while everybody else could be in other activities. We highly recommend the place for other guests.

Excellent property

We had another excellent stay at Mas Sifon this summer. The house was nice and clean, with new pillows and an especially verdant garden. There's even a pond with carps in the back now! Would recommend this villa to anyone.

Nice house, poor management

The house is great, as you can see in the photos. The location is fantastic, the pool is great, the garden is absolutely lovely and very well kept. Note however that there are not two bathrooms. There is one bathroom and one shower within a bedroom. Therefore, we ended up having one bathroom for six people. It is also stated that the house can accommodate nine adults. I don't know where you put the ninth. But the management was so amateurish. The manager has poor French (we're a French group renting a house in France). The value of the deposit changed several times (between the amount stated on HomeAway, on the booking forms in English, in French, the manager's own emails and amount actually requested once we arrived). The directions to the house were very vague. The house was dirty, with some very dingy pillows and dead light-bulbs. The barbecue was filthy. The owners barged straight in to the house unannounced with their dog in the middle of our stay. And so on. So no, it's a beautiful area, but if we were to return, someone else will get our custom.

Home from home

We had a wonderful stay at Mas Sifon. The property has a really pleasant homely feel and we enjoyed all of the facilities that came with it - an exceptionally well equipped kitchen, lots of outdoor seating, spacious living area, pretty master bedroom, ideal for kids (highchair / cot / selection of toys) and peaceful location on the edge of Ceret. With sleeping accommodation across two floors, Mas Sifon naturally lends itself to holidays with grandparents or with friends. The main downside was the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms. The owner has provided fans in all bedrooms, but in the height of summer, it is still uncomfortably hot at night. Despite the heat, the pool was a little cool so I imagine it would be hard to enjoy the pool outside of the hottest summer months. The wifi was patchy, although this could also be considered a positive thing for a relaxing summer holiday! Mas Sifon is highly recommended. Ceret is a beautiful location with excellent restaurants, while also being convenient for days on the beach and in the mountains. Just lovely.

Quiet and secluded, close to town, great view

Our family spent two weeks at Mas Sifon in june 2013 and now rented it again in 2014. I would happily recommend this property for a family or even two families. The best features of this house imho is the pool and location with open space around the house, minimal traffic, and several outdoor areas for meals, play and rest outside in or out of the sun. My kids love the pool and spent most days in or around it, or playing in the enormous garden. We found the roof terrace great in the evenings, as it is close to the kids' bedrooms, has a magnificent view of the sun setting over Mt Canigou. It's a pleasure to watch with some local wine and the ambient sounds of insects and frogs! Practical matters - as we have kids, these things matter ;) We flew into Barcelona and drove up in a rental car, which is about two hours on excellent roads. Plenty of parking space next to the property, one car behind the gate on the front drive. Would recommend a hike to the waterfall in the forest, a trip to Colliure's castle and beaches, buying wine from a pump at the Cooperatif (touristy but good wine) and the climbing park/ watersports at the lac at St Jean Pla de Courts.

Perfect stay in lovely Ceret

We rented Mas Sifon in April and May of 2013, and had a wonderful time! Our family of four flew down to Barcelona and rented a pretty dinged up car from Hertz. The drive to Mas Sifon took about two hours on the AP-7 highway. Excellent service on arrival. We immediately fell in love with the house, and especially the view of Canigou, a spectacular mountain to the west. The kids were naturally obsessed with the pool and exploring the rather large, open field around the house itself. Pretty perfect temperature as well, in April-May. Not too hot, not too cool. We had a few days of rain early in April, but spent those shopping in Perpignan or just driving around to get ourselves oriented. After a week by ourselves, the inlaws dropped by for three weeks. And this is where Mas Sifon really shines; they had their own bedroom and facilities downstairs, while we had everything we needed upstairs. Vacationing with another group is not a problem when both have the option to withdraw for a little privacy now and then. There are several tables around the house to share lunch, but dinners on the roof terrace were soon the norm. Amenities were just right. Well equipped kitchen, effective airconditioning and great beds. Nice and clean pool. Most mornings one of us took a brisk walk to the nearest bakery to pick up breakfast, and then agreed on an activity for the day. Ceret itself is within walking distance with plenty of sights and experiences. Make sure you check out the modern art museum, the market days and the restaurants clustered around Place des Neuf Jets. And the shop World of Beers (just trust me on this one). Ask for the scenic route to the town, you won't regret it. Another well kept secret; the reservoir lake in St Jean Pla de Corts is about ten minutes by car. Perfect spot for jogging, picnincs and activities for the kids. Evenings were usually spent on the excellent roof terrace. The best beach is Racou, about half an hour away. Also make sure you visit Collioure and Roses in Spain. The last couple of days we rented a flat in Barcelona and checked out La Rambla and the Zoo. Two days was not enough, we'll have to go back for a few days next time. And next time, we'll rent Mas Sifon again. Excellent villa, excellent location. Highly recommended!

Would definitely recommend Mas Sifon to others and would consider staying there again - Ideal location to the town. Beautiful villa with superb views and plenty of external space.
