We enjoyed out stay so much! The house perfectly accommodated 4 adults and 4 children. The hosts were very attentive and had many supplies on hand for us.The property is very close to beaches and to town. We would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful house with an incredible view of Gytheio town. Pictures don’t do it justice. Great location, only a few minutes drive to Gytheio town and several beaches right along the coast where the house is. Our family had a great stay. Highly recommended if planning to go to the Mani area.

Such a beautiful place to stay! Thanos and Marguerite were incredibly welcoming and included a lot of thoughtful touches (local ice creams, wine, and olive oil and a list of local restaurants and activities) that made us feel right at home. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, which our group appreciated (plus Marguerita has a lovely herb garden!). The home’s design is great for large groups, since it provides both communal space and little quiet nooks. Would definitely stay here again if we were to come back to the region.

My family and I (9 of us total) stayed here while visiting for 3 weeks. The hosts were amazing, very friendly and would check in to see how our stay was. The check in/check out process was seamless. The house spotless and comfortable and the AC was perfect (you know how important that is with the heat in Greece!) would definitely stay there again!

Amazing!!!!

This place is absolutely amazing. The amount of detail and beautiful architecture put into this home is astonishing. The views and property is breathtaking. We literally felt like we were living the life of a movie star. The hosts could not be more helpful and accommodating. Definitely one of my best short term rentals I’ve been to.

Beautiful, well appointed and relaxing home.

We had a lovely time staying at Thanos and Margareta's home. They welcomed us graciously, had the house ready and stocked with wine, juice, water and condiments. Additionally, they provided us with many recommendations of things to do. We had rain and wind while we were staying at their home, so we didn't get to do as much as we would have liked, but there's much to do in the area, convenient markets as well as places to eat. It's a fun area to explore and when you get back to the wonderful home, it's a relaxing and comfortable space to be. I would highly recommend staying here.

Mani at its best

All I can say is the place was "perfect" and our hosts are wonderful people. We were greeted with warm Greek hospitality. They had the house ready for us in all respects. Including chilled wine, beverages and pastries. The property is even more beautiful than the pictures on the VRBO site. It is central to everything Mani. The interior decor was gorgeous. The patios have beautiful views of the sea and Gytheio. Our two week stay was not enough, I did not want to leave, they had to drag me away, lol (just kidding of course). My family will be certainly returning. I highly recommend this vacation home to anyone who wants to experience a true Mani vacation. Thank you Skeparnis Family. Theo M

A Beautiful and Peaceful Mountain Sanctuary

What an incredible place to stay during our Greek vacation! Mr. Thanos and his son Efthymis were the ultimate hosts - attention was paid to every detail from a beautiful interior decor to a very well-equipped kitchen that they so thoughtfully stocked with water, coffee, milk, juices, etc., before our arrival. Even a welcome box of exquisite fresh pastries! Efthymis was quick to answer any question or need we had via text. We stayed for almost three weeks, and found the house to be a true sanctuary away…we definitely needed our car to see the many lovely sights in the area but found wonderful food in nearby Gytheio. There was a nice and affordable private beach nearby as well with excellent seafood. The Skaparnis family represents the Greek ideal of filotimo- the idea of being gracious and generous to all because it is the right thing to do. We would return in a heartbeat and hope we will have the opportunity! And the house (and views) was as lovely as the photos show. Maybe lovelier. Our highest recommendation.

Μια εκπληκτική κατοικία. Ενα διαμάντι στο Γύθειο. Πεντακάθαρη, με εκπληκτικο περιποιημενο κήπο και μεγάλες βεράντες με καταπληκτική θέα σε μια πολυ ησυχη τοποθεσια, με φοβερες παραλίες στα 5 με 6 λεπτα με το αυτοκινητο. Το κεντρο του Γυθειου ειναι και αυτο 7 λεπτα οδικώς Οι οικοδεσποτες εξαιρετικοί. Μας υποδεχτηκαν με χαρα και ευγένεια. Προθυμοι να μας ενημερώσουν για τα παντα σχετικα με το σπιτι και την περιοχή. Μόλις φτασαμε μας υποδέχτηκαν με γλυκα και παγωμενο νερο και μας ειχαν τα ψυγεια μας γεμάτα με νερό, χυμους και κρασί. Το σπιτι ειναι πληρως εξοπλισμένο με τα πάντα. Δε μας ελειψε απολυτως τίποτα. Τα δωμάτια και οι χωροι του ειναι πολύ ανετα, με κλματισμο και πολύ φως . Το σπιτι ειναι ιδανικο για δυο οικογένειες, το συστήνω ανεπιφυλακτα. Θαναση, Μαργαρίτα και Ευθύμη σας ευχαριστούμε για όλα. Θα επανέλθουμε!

Un piccolo, meraviglioso, castello nel Mani

Appena ritornati dal nostro viaggio nel Mani, abbiamo ancora negli occhi la bellezza della casa in cui abbiamo soggiornato. Credo che si possa parlare di perfezione: nulla e` lasciato al caso, l'ospite e` messo nelle condizioni di vivere un'esperienza meravigliosa e piena di vizi. L'arredamento e` curato nei dettagli, la casa e` piena di oggetti deliziosi e di piccole nicchie che nascondono tesori. Libri antichi, soprammobili che raccontano storie, giochi in scatola di un altro tempo. Tutto cio` insieme alle comodita` che qualsiasi viaggiatore desidererebbe per vivere appieno una vacanza di totale relax. I terrazzi della casa con vista mare riempiono gli occhi di uno spettacolo bellissimo e struggente, davvero non si vorrebbe andare via. Gli ulivi nel giardino abbracciano la casa, e gli ospiti, in un modo che abbiamo vissuto solo in Grecia. Le persone che ci hanno accolto, Thanos e Margarita, sono state estremamente gentili e premurose. Ci hanno, infine, salutato con altrettanto calore. I doni che ci hanno portato ci hanno scaldato il cuore. Credo che nessuno di noi potra` scordare Liopetra.

Magnifique maison du Magne

Accueillis par Thanos et Margerita avec beaucoup de gentillesse et d'attentions, nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison superbe, très grande et très fonctionnelle. L'environnement est lui aussi très beau, les plages charmantes et la petite cité balnéaire de Gythio très attrayante. Efthymis leur fils est lui aussi charmant et très réactif en cas de problème. Bref nous garderons un souvenir merveilleux de ce petit coin de paradis !

Beginnend mit einer perfekten Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer, über die flexible Anreisezeit und die exponierte Lage des Hauses mit traumhaftem Panorama-Blick , bis hin zur wirklich exzellenten Ausstattung , lässt dieses Feriendomozil keine Wünsche offen! Sehr freundlicher Umgang mit den Gästen! Absolut empfehlenswert! Starting with perfect communication with the owner, through the flexible arrival time and the exposed location of the house with a fantastic panoramic view, to the really excellent equipment, this holiday home leaves nothing to be desired! Very friendly interaction with the guests! Highly Recommended!

Wunderbare Villa in perfekter Lage

Das Haus ist einfach perfekt… hochwertig ausgestattet, voller liebevoller Details, makellos sauber und mehr als großzügig geschnitten. Die Lage ist toll, fußläufig findet sich ein Strand, weitere traumhafte Buchten in kurzer Entfernung und auch viele Ausflugsziele sind gut erreichbar. In wenigen Minuten ist man in Githio mit netten Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend, es hat uns einfach rundherum super gefallen! Ein perfekter Ort für Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene gleichermaßen!

Wonderful! Top quality!!

Both Mr. Thanos and Efthimis were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating! We spent 8 days at the house with family and children - everything was very carefully thought out to the last detail on all levels - giving us a much needed cosy and ‘homey’ feeling. The kitchen was fully equipped and very well stocked upon arrival. The house was crystal clean and the view from the verandas (and most windows for that matter) simply stunning!! Thank you for a great stay! We would definitely recommend this property!

Room with a view!

First, this is a lovely and spacious home. All 4 bedrooms have their own bath, kitchen and patio. The owner provided gifts of pastry on our first day and bottles of olive oil from their own trees. He was very responsive to any questions and clearly wanted us to enjoy our stay. The outdoor patios overlook the bay and we ate dinner there often. Stay here … you won’t regret it! So very lovely.
