Esta casa de lujo está llena de lugares para relajarse y disfrutar de las vistas con múltiples áreas de entretenimiento, una cocina totalmente equipada y una sala de juegos con air hockey y ping pong. La sala de estar y el dormitorio principal comparten una chimenea de leña a gas de doble cara, perfecta para esas noches de montaña más frescas. La bañera de hidromasaje para 6 personas es el lugar perfecto para relajarse después de un día de exploración.

At Last Lodge está maravillosamente ubicado un poco alejado de todo, a aproximadamente 30 minutos de las encantadoras ciudades de Black Mountain y Marion. Te encantará explorar las tiendas, restaurantes y cervecerías locales en el centro de Marion. Si está buscando disfrutar de la vida nocturna, visite Marion's Mica Town Brewing Company, Refinery 13 Taproom y Spillway Bridge & Co. The views initially drew us in, and they're even more stunning than the photos suggest. We were absolutely delighted by how beautiful, clean, and meticulously maintained this secluded mountain home is. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the whole-home Sonos sound system to the impeccably organized and well-stocked kitchen, cozy furnishings, and fenced yard perfect for our dog. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking again!

Great, spacious, grand cabin with high end amenities. Love that it is contactless checkin and pet friendly. Host was friendly and cabin was very clean. We played games in the game room and thoroughly enjoyed the piano. The views....OMG...AMAZING views of the mountains and lake lure. Highly recommend.

the home was everything we wanted. the fenced in yard for our dogs was HUGE. we saw so many bears in the neighborhood on the way up to the cabin. a plethora of wildlife around us. so many wild berries growing. very comfortable and enough space that the whole family was able to relax and enjoy.

Fantastic property! The views are as advertised and the furnishings are top notch. The Sonos sound system throughout the house was awesome. I was especially impressed with the detailed labeling of contents of almost every cabinet/drawer in the kitchen. Definitely hope to return.

Vacation above the clouds

This is one of the most beautiful properties we have stayed at over many years of vacationing in and around Black Mountain. The home is spacious, spotless, and has a gorgeous view. Really couldn't ask for anything more. Grateful that the owners are willing to share their beautiful place with others!

Best view yet!

We’ve rented several WNC mountain homes over the years and this one was our favorite. The house is stunningly well built, with the most beautiful long range view of the mountains and Lake Lure. The furnishings are gorgeous, the kitchen well appointed, and the beds comfortable. We had our two labs with us, and there was a convenient front yard for them to enjoy. The house is in a very private location, and the paved roads up the mountain were relatively easy to navigate. We would stay here again in a minute if we could. A+++++++

What an exceptional stay!

This cabin has it all! We planned to cook our meals at the house everyday and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking supplies needed to make most meals! Having two dishwashers was a bonus as well. The beds were all comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets for the family. The views from the house were just fabulous! We ended each evening with a soak in the hot tub with the family overlooking the beautiful mountains! The downstairs was perfect for entertaining. The huge tv was enjoyed every night with popcorn and movies and the garage with the various game tables were used daily by all! We were able to enjoy coffee and wine on the patios upstairs, relax and take in all that nature had to offer. The drive up to the cabin was a bit nerve wracking. There were quite a few hair pin turns and lots of ups and downs. Definitely made us nervous the first few times we drove the road. All in all it was a great and we thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful cabin. Thank you for sharing it with us!

A slice of heaven

What a beautiful and fun property! The house is incredible and the views are beyond stunning. There was enough fun at the house to keep our 7 and 9 year old entertained; and plenty of outdoor activities within 45 minutes all around. The first time up the road to the house was alarming as others mentioned… but it was paved all the way until the turn to the house and the driveway itself is also paved so there is only a very small section that was gravel. The drive felt easier with more familiarity. The sound system in the home was an incredible bonus. The house was very well stocked and labeled. The only thing we didn’t expect was the low water pressure… it makes sense because it is well water all the way up on that mountain. I told each kid to go get a shower, but only one would work at a time. Which was no problem; just know that it’s lovely that there are 3 full bathrooms but plan for staggered showers. The hot water never ran out! Such a lovely place and we made the most wonderful memories. I’ll treasure them forever!

The Perfect Mountain Retreat

Our family of 5 visited this cabin on the mountain and were completely shocked at the beauty around us. Getting up to the house had us nervous. There are a lot of steep hills and windy roads and we drive through rain and clouds to get there but once we arrived, we fell in love with this cabin. It was very spacious and clean and the views are stunning! Each bedroom had its own bathroom, the loft was a perfect hangout for the kids and the downstairs entertaining room was awesome! The kids loved watching tv on the big screen down there and playing all the games in the garage. We loved relaxing in the hot tub each evening as well. This was our first stay here but won’t be our last!

Inspires our Dream Home

At Last Lodge was everything we hoped for and more. The house speaker system was the feature that we never knew we wanted! The kitchen had everything we could possibly need and the music to dance to, the view was mesmerizing, the bed was comfortable, the basement became our happy place, and the hot tub was perfect on a cold day. We recommend bringing any groceries you need, because the road to the house is steep and tight. Once you’re settled, you won’t want to leave anyways. I also love all of the lighting options and the little signs everywhere to help you figure things out more quickly. Someone truly cared when designing this house, and you can feel it as soon as you walk in the door. Greybeard Rentals was super helpful and quick to respond with the couple of questions that we had during our stay. I continue to daydream about our 4 nights at At Last Lodge!!

Perfect spot

Was everything we were looking for. Drive is no joke and like all the other reviews suggest, make a plan to go out as little as possible. Wind and ice made us hunker down for two days but that was our plan anyway. House has everything. Views are amazing. Perfect Xmas spot

What else could you want?!

This house is amazing. If you are questioning anything about renting it, do not. It is huge, comfortable, gorgeous, well-appointed, great kitchen with everything you need (even decent chef's knives!), and comfortable bedrooms with huge bathrooms. The view is the best one you will ever see in your life. You WILL NOT be sorry about renting this place. The ONLY possible thing to be aware of, as is mentioned in other reviews, is that the 10-15 minute drive to the house on the mountain road is hair-raising. I would not want to attempt it at night, especially upon first arrival. But honestly, we got used to it over the course of the week.

Amazing Mountain Getaway

Really enjoyed our time at 'At Last Lodge'! Beautiful location, outfitted with luxury amenities. Whole-house Sonos system (an audiophile's dream house)! Everything in the house was top quality, comfortable, well-labeled, and well thought out. Can't wait to return!

Views & Great House!

The VIEWS... you can see all the way down to Lake Lure ~20 miles away. Nice elevation, which provided much cooler temps during mid-July. Pet-friendly and house was immaculate upon check in. Also nice they didn't try to configure too many bedrooms or sleeping arrangements, just three very large, well-appointed master suites basically. Whole house music system was nice and we spent every morning + afternoon on the decks. Very nice high-end appliances and furnishings throughout. Bar + wine fridge downstairs was a plus! Plenty of room to park multiple vehicles but heads up if you have a large truck/vehicle the top parking level gets a little tight. The hiking trails + waterfalls in community were also fun. In summary, we would definitely come back for another stay here. Highly recommended for peace/quiet/privacy!

Beautiful property!

Absolutely beautiful views! House is spacious and very well laid out. Love the bar/TV room and game rooms downstairs. Definitely get what you need BEFORE going up the mountain. I'd recommend one trip up/down the mountain per day.

As good as it gets....

Everything about this property was perfect; cleanliness, secluded, great technology in rental, and views for days. The communication from the rental agency was top notch. As others have stated, this unit is definitely located off the beaten path, but the beauty of the drive made each trip to and from the property totally worth it. Our family enjoyed the game room, hot tub, and whole house sound system. We definitely will be looking to book another trip here in the future.
