Una escapada secreta para dos, este estudio rural es una base ideal para unas vacaciones en la Toscana sin preocupaciones. El estudio da a los hermosos viñedos de la finca Chianti Rufina llamada Castello di Nipozzano. La bodega está cerca y podemos reservarle una visita con degustación.
El estudio (llamado CIPRESSO) consta de una gran habitación doble con cocina americana. Hay un baño separado. Las puertas dobles de vidrio se abren a su propio jardín y terraza privada pavimentada para tomar el sol y comer fuera.

Séjour dans un magnifique paysage Toscan

Location située dans un cadre idéal, au milieu du vignoble toscan, dans une bâtisse très bien restaurée avec terrasse ombragée pour prendre un repas avec une vue magnifique. Nous avons pu parcourir le chemin d'accès à de multiples reprises avec notre CLIO bien que le loueur ait signalé qu'il est non goudronné et chaotique. Nous sommes allés visiter Florence, Sienne, San Gimignano, Fiesole...Une belle balade à pied depuis le logement dans le vignoble. Merci à Jane et Gianpierro pour leur acceuil

Traumurlaub in der Toskana

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub. In der Unterkunft konnten wir uns nur wohl fühlen. Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr aufmerksam und herzlich. Die allgemeine Lage in der Toskana zu den typischen Spots war sehr gut. Alles in allem nur zu empfehlen.

Absolutely fabulous

Wir waren von der traumhafte Lage begeistert - einbettet zwischen Waldrand (Glühwürmchen!!!!) und den weinbestandenen Hügeln mit Fernblick, jedoch auch mit schnellen (Bahn-)Verbindungen, z.B. nach Florenz. Großartiges Quartier in historischem Gebäude, das mit großer Liebe zum Detail restauriert wurde. Wir hätten auch die ganze Zeit auf der schönen Sonnenterrasse verbringen können. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Jane und Giampiero sind wunderbare Menschen und waren immer ansprechbar. Für uns ein unglaublich schöner Urlaub. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Kleines Paradies inmitten der Weinberge

Für unseren Trip nach Florenz hätten wir keine bessere Unterkunft finden können. Nach dem Trubel der Stadt konnten wir die Abende in angenehmer Ruhe mit wunderbarem Ausblick auf die Weinberge genießen. Jane und Giampietro sind wundervolle Gastgeber, die uns nicht nur mit vielen Tipps rund um die Gegend versorgt haben, sondern vor allem mit ihrer Herzlichkeit unseren Aufenthalt zu einem ganz Besonderen gemacht haben. Schöne Unterkunft mit netter Gasgeberin

Liebe Jane, wir danken dir für die erholsamen Tage bei dir☺. Die Ferienwohnung ist großzügig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Die nette Terrasse zur alleinigen Benutzung war unser täglicher Platz, um nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag, den Tag ausklingen zu lassen. Jane ist in ihrer sympathischen Art immer für ein unaufdringliches, nettes Gespräch zu haben und sie gibt gute Empfehlungen. Die von ihr empfohlene Weinverkostung bei Frescobaldi erscheint im ersten Moment recht teuer, ist ihr Geld aber auf jeden Fall wert. Erstens ist das berühmte Weingut in 25 min fussläufig erreichbar und zweitens gibt es nen Rabatt ( 35 EUR statt 43 EUR), wenn es über Jane gebucht wird. Wir können es sehr empfehlen. Die Anfahrt ist mit Hilfe der ausführlich Beschreibung von Jane leicht zu finden.. unbedingt an ihre Angaben halten!... Nochmals vielen Dank an dich, Jane. Wenn wir nochmals in der Nähe sind, machen wir gerne bei euch Station. Liebe Grüße Katrin

Happy place :)

We spent a week at Cipresso and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The Appartement is lovely, it's very clean and cosy. The view is breathtaking and unique. It's the perfect place to explore Tuscany and to calm down after a long day in the heat. From Pontassieve we took the train to reach Florence, we also had a wine tasting at Nippozzano and went to some beautiful and very interesting cities (e.g. Pisa, Lucca, Arezzo, Poppi, Montepulciano). Don't miss the market at Pontassieve where you can get the best ham or fresh fruit and try a typical Trattoria - you won't regret it! Giampiero and Jane are wonderful hosts, they helped us to plan our trips to Florence, Arezzo or Montepulciano with a glass of wine and the best insider tips you could think of. We are so heart warmed by their generosity and kindness. Our hearts are full of beautiful memories and we are looking forward to come back! Kira & Michi :) P.S.: we already miss the sunsets at the terrace and Jasmine and Peggy coming along to say hi and to be cuddled.

Absolutely beautiful place and Jane is an outstanding host !

I cannot recommend this place more ! Firstly we had a very disastrous start to our holiday, the hire car company didn't take debit cardswhen we went to pick up the car, we were devastated as we knew we needed this car to get to the villa. So there we were me and my girlfriend at 10 o'clock at night stranded after a days travel, I rang Jane the host not expected much more than "I'm sorry to hear but ...." That didn't happen, Jane was absolutely lovely on the phone and emailed us with directions from the airport to the centre of Florence, where we would catch a train and meet her at the Pontassieve station. Bearing in mind this was very late at night I cannot overstate how Jane basically saved our holiday. After all of drama and we got to the villa it was beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice. There was a helpful guide in our room with suggestions of restaurants and places to visit nearby. The wine tasting at the Castle just above the villa was a highlight of the trip, a great location and was very welcoming of a complete wine novice such as myself. To sum up the hosts are lovely, the location is brilliant, a variety of things to do close-by and remember to correctly book when getting a hire car! Tom and Lola

Super Apartment am Rand eines Weinberges

Das Apartment ist wunderschön etwas abseits am Rande eines Weinbergs und unterhalb eines castellos mit Weinproduktion gelegen. Das Apartment war sehr sauber, das Bett bequem und die Ausstattung insgesamt in sehr gutem Zustand. Toll ist besonders die Terasse mit Blick auf den unterhalb gelegenen Weinberges. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit, die zur Verfügung gestellten Informationen zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten etc. zutreffend und hilfreich. Ein toller Ort, um abseits des Trubels in toskanischer Landschaft zu entspannen und zugleich die Möglichkeit zu haben, mittels Auto Orte wie Florenz zu besuchen.

Borgo di Sopra exceeded our expectations

We spent several days in the Cipresso apartment at Borgo di Sopra and could not have been happier with it. It is in a beautiful wooded area overlooking vineyards and the Val di Sieve. It is just a short train ride from Florence which saved us having to park our car in the city. The apartment was spotless, very comfortable and quiet and had everything we needed. The views from the terrace are a delight. Jane and Gianpiero were so warm and helpful, offering suggestions on travel,shopping and even how to pay the parking ticket we acquired earlier in our trip. They made our stay at Borgo di Sopra one of our favorite memories of our trip to Italy. If we return to the area we would definitely stay there again.

Cipresso Apartment-What a way to relax!!!!

Myself and my wife stayed for a week and found it delightful. Set in the Chianti Hills above Ponttessieve near Florence we found it really relaxing. The welcome we received from Jane and Giampierre was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. The views were astounding and the apartment was spotless. The finish was beautiful- really inkeeping with the Italian Farm style. We had a great week and would recommend it to anyone.

Great Place to Stay!!!

I had an excellent stay at Cipresso. My friend and I were staying in different places all over Italy and this was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The apartment was pristine, it was so well maintained, it had everything we needed from a tea pot to a colander, to small reading lights by the beds. The terrace has an excellent view of vineyards and other beautiful properties that surround it. The town of Pontassieve was great to walk around, the locals were very nice, it was everything we hoped for. Jane was also an excellent hostess, she had information on trains going into Florence, where we could go grocery shopping, and winery tours at the castle that was just a 15 minute walk from her property. She was wonderful and her family charming. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone, it was beautiful, clean, homey, and relaxing. It would be perfect for a honeymoon, a vacation, really any kind of getaway or excuse for visiting. I hope to return to this lovely place someday!

Wonderful location & accommodation

We stayed in the Cipresso studio in this newly renovated 15th century watchtower and found it to be the ideal place from which to explore Tuscany and Florence. The studio is of a decent size with a basic but useful kitchen. It's smaller than the Alba & Vista apartments (which we had a quick peek into while we were there, and which are probably better if you're looking at an extended stay of a few weeks/months), but suited the two of us perfectly for the week we were there. The studio's terrace has a wonderful view across the valley and over to the nearby hills; sitting here at dusk with a wine and antipasto bought from Pontassieve was pretty close to the highlight of our Italian trip. Pontassieve is about 5 or so minutes down the hill by car (it's 30 minutes on foot - we walked it a few times) and is about 20 minutes to Florence SMN by train. Sitting on top of the hill behind the property is the Nipozzano castle, part of the Frescobaldi family's winemaking 'empire' and a good place for winetasting. If you like walking, which we do, there are a number of small towns about an hour's walk from the property - we tramped over to Pelgao - with good eating and drinking when you get there. Jane & Gianpiero, the owners of the property, are lovely people and were extremely welcoming. We enjoyed their place so much that we extended our stay by two nights. I cannot recommend this property highly enough. If we ever go back to the area, this is where we staying.

We have been welcoming guests since 2008 and I am a VRBO Premier Host.
Times have changed but we have always worked to make our guests feel at home here.
I personally oversee the housekeeping, with attentive cleaning in the 48 hour window between every rental. We use professionally laundered linens.
We are happy to share our local knowledge with you and help you get the most out of your stay in this part of Italy.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Borgo di Sopra is a great escape. Isolated but not remote.
You truly feel away from it all. You are in the midst of nature in a place of enormous beauty. There is lots of wildlife here, from deer to pheasants, hares, porcupines and all sorts of birdlife.
Our 3 apartments have great views onto the vineyards of the Castello di Nipozzano. Each apartment has its own front door and outside terrace for personal use.
The property is reached by a private farmroad. You are off the beaten track!
But the town of Pontassieve is less than 10 minutes by car with a large supermarket and train station.

At Borgo you can walk uphill to the lovely Castello di Nipozzano. There has been a castle here since 1000, and you can understand why. The position dominates the surrounding countryside. But there is also a handsome Villa from the 1700s. Its aristocratic elegance charms and intrigues you. The wines here are impressive and on sale in the winestore.
