Wonderful cottage in great location.

Spotless and very well appointed cottage with all amenities. Lovely rural location but short bike/car rides from local towns etc lovely host, very friendly, highly recommended!

Gorgeous cottage. Lovely hosts

We had a relaxing few days exploring Wells and the surrounding area. The cottage was an ideal base and was well equipped with a lovely garden and helpful hosts. Would highly recommend.

We spent some wonderful days at the beautiful Walnut Tree Cottage. The cottage is very clean and lovingly furnished, and is equipped with everything you need for a pleasant and relaxing holiday. Lovely Relaxing Accommodation in Beautiful countryside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay in a lovely cottage which was very well equipped. It is very well placed to explore the delights of Somerset. Tina & Gary, our hosts, were very friendly & helpful. Fully recommend.

Quiet peaceful but not remote

Perfect hosts, property exceeded expectations, close to all amenities and far away enough to feel remote. Plenty of walks from the door step, in all directions.

Restorative stay at Ford Farm

Delightful stay in the countryside. The grounds are a feast for the eyes surrounded by beautiful flowers and interesting landscaping. A restful space to gather oneself after sightseeing. The hosts are lovely. Always ready to answer the many questions I had.

Nice cottage

We had a good time in this cottage - it has all amenities, bed is very comfy, large bathroom and very clean. The location is good - only a 5 min. drive to Wells. It is next to a road which might disturb some but it is fair to say that the traffic reduces a lot during the night and we did not have a problem with it.

Relaxing and peaceful

the cottage was so charming and equipped with everything we needed. the location is ideal for touring the Somerset region. Loved city of Wells. Tina and Gary are friendly and helpful and their garden which is a delight reflects their hard work. There are a few country pubs nearby serving great food. Could highly recommend.

Peaceful retreat

We had a very peaceful stay here. The cottage is spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The bedroom is a good size with more than ample storage and the bed was really comfy.Tina was really attentive to our needs and passed on useful information about shopping and parking in Wells and where to eat locally. The garden is a delight with lots of different places to sit. The front conservatory is a real sun trap and we used it alot especially of an evening. Thank you Tina for making our stay so enjoyable.

Tina`s nice cottage in Henton/ Wells

We had a nice stay in that cottage and enjoyed mainly the evenings during our dinner in the sun- drenched wintergarden. The cottage offered evrything you need for vacation, great cleanliness, kitchen items, living and bath room are fully equipped. We slepped well in the bed room upstairs and heard absolutely nothing from the partially busy road. Tina and Gary do have a great garden nearby and a coffee/ tea in the morning outside is very recommendable. Thank you again.

Walnut Tree Cottage, Henton near Wells

We had booked for a 4 night stay and were met by the owner on arrival who gave us a guided tour of the cottage. This cottage is absolutely delightful. It is clean, fresh and tastefully decorated with good quality furniture. The bedroom is a good size and the bed very comfortable. The ensuite bathroom is large. Downstairs the kitchen is well equipped and clean. The lounge is also comfortable and a selection of books and DVDs are available for guests. There is a small dining area at the front of the cottage which could benefit from curtains/blinds to maintain privacy and to keep the cottage warm. Parking is available outside the cottage (off road). I would recommend this cottage to any couple who want peace and quiet and/or access to beautiful countryside walks. The owner is friendly and helpful.

Beautiful Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage. It is very comfortable and the decor is lovely with lots of interesting pieces placed in each room. Very clean, with all the facilities we needed. The bedroom is large and we slept very well as the bed was so comfy. It is in a very convenient position for many sightseeing trips whilst also being in a peaceful setting with hardly any noise. There was a large bathroom with a large shower cubicle which was very light having 2 windows in it. Many thanks. Sue & Errol.

Tina was the perfect host. Excellent communication prior to our arrival and easy check in. Beautiful cosy cottage with all amenities. Located in a quiet village within easy distance to main attractions and countryside. Would definitely recommend.

Tina and Gary live in a 450 year old farm house that we have extensively restored and refurbished over the past 18 years. Damson Cottage is one of our outbuildings that we converted into a luxury holiday home. We moved to Somerset with our young family in 1985 and absolutely love the area, Our boys have long flown the nest but we have no intention of leaving Ford Farm or Somerset.

We love Wells because of the fantastic facilities in the area. The surrounding countryside is beautiful with both Bath and Bristol within easy reach. The historic city of Wells boasts a great range of bars and restaurants as well as many places of interest. There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible via the M4/M5 and the A303 and Bristol airport is only 20 minutes away.

The property is a tastefully converted stone barn situated in a lovely part of the world with all the mod cons that you would expect. If you are looking to ‘get away from it all’ and unwind in a really relaxing cosy environment then Walnut Tree Cottage is the place for you.
