Perfect location and ideal for a few days away. The lodge had everything we needed and was adequately equipped. The hot tub was an ideal temperature and lent itself to a glass of bubbles!!

Thank you Julian for a lovely stay at Oak lodge, for being such a helpful host and always on the end of the phone if we needed you!We loved the accommodation and especially the goats, which my 5 year old has named cheek, frown, kid and Ben (the black one, being his favourite!)

New Year’s Eve break

Stayed here for two nights over NYE2019 with my husband and 2 year old. The lodge was even better then we expected, the surrounding village and wildlife park are a must to visit. We loved the hot tub and having the animals around for us to see. Highly recommend for a peaceful relaxing visit and we would stay again. Great communication with Angela it’s was a pleasure to stay for the two nights and ring in the new year

Mid week getaway

We booked the lodge for a beautiful mid week getaway and enjoyed every moment 💚 We walked to three of the local pubs which were all lovely and two of the walks take you through some be lovely countryside. Canterbury is a 10min bus ride away and other local destinations are close by bus or car and a convenience shop 5 min walk away. The lodge itself is clean, spacious and the hot tub is gorgeous. It's has a fully fitted kitchen and a BBQ so you could easily just chill out in the lodge and space around it.

Lovely Lodge

Myself and partner had a lovely stay at Oak Lodge, was a very peaceful location and within walking distance to the local pub. A 10 min taxi ride into Canterbury made extra special by the singing taxi man (he was great 😊 ) The lodge had everything we needed. The hot tub was a great addition to the lodge after a long day out, was nice to relax under the stars. Communication was great with the host. Highly recommend

Perfect

My wife and I stayed at Oak Cottage for a much needed getaway. We found just what we were looking for: peace, quiet, beautiful walks, clean, comfortable accommodation, and friendly, helpful guidance from property owners Angela and Julian. It was perfect, and we even got a clear sky one night so we could bask in the hot tub and stare at the moon and stars. Thanks so much for all your help and flexibility, Angela and Julian. I hope we'll see you again.

Fantastic experience

What an amazing weekend we have just had. Highly highly recommend. Accomation was nice and well equipped with what we needed. The owners are so lovely and always available to help with anything we needed and very welcoming felt completely at home from the minute we arrived. Am already looking for dates to book again next year. Thank you for an amazing weekend.

Fantastic Getaway

This property was beyond wonderful for our birthday weekend away with friends. The property itself is gorgeous with everything you could need. The wildlife safari park near by provides a interesting and unique walk most would never have in the UK. Everything was perfect and I will definitely be returning:-)

Overnight stay

Lovely quiet location in a lovely quiet village that is only a 10 min drive from the beautiful historic city of Canterbury. Hosts are lovely, friendly & welcoming. The lodge is clean, warm & very cosy, but what tops it all off is the jacuzzi that is not only big, but is lovely & hot even in the cold winter months. Have already stayed here twice & will hope to again in the near future. Would extremely recommend a short stay here. Many thanks Angela & Justin Regards David

Great place!

A fantastic property - spacious, cosy, well equipped and in a great semi-rural location but close enough to village amenities. The hot tub is a little piece of luxury.

Oak Lodge was delightful

A wonderful place to stay, private but on a great bus route and a lovely local pub. Loved feeding the goats and chickens. The owners were lovely and friendly too. Had everything we needed so thank you very much for a lovely stay xxx

Great place

Lovely location far enough from the main road to feel you are in the middle of nowhere. Was perfect for what we wanted a short break from the normal hectic schedule. Host was friendly and helpful would definitely return x

Lovely setting

We had a great stay at Oak Lodge. The kids loved petting the goats and of course the hot tub. Angela was very helpful both before and during our stay.
