There were a few issues but Royal Destinations always responded quickly. Sadly, with any rental, time and wear take its toll on furniture. Shear Elegance was decorated beautifully with attention to detail. The rugs and couches were clean but some were stained and showed wear. The only real complaint was from all the adults about how the mattresses slept…extremely soft. The lower front Master had the most uncomfortable mattress. The kitchen was to die for and extremely well stocked. It was a perfect space for our family.

Great family week full of making memories!

This property checked all the boxes and did a great job for our family. We come to Florida every other year to have time with just our family to laugh and make memories. The property was beautiful and access to the beach was perfect just across the street and are part of the beach was not as crowded. Location for things to do and places to eat, couldn’t have been better. The only difficult part was Wi-Fi is a little spotty, but you’re going on vacation so we can deal with that. It was definitely worth that for everything we got. Love the pool and the kitchen was phenomenal. Tons of room for our large family of 13 all ages. We will definitely be coming back.

We loved the property in every way. The kids wanted me to “buy” it so we could keep it!! We all loved the pool too! This house was perfect for our big family.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a great stay. The location of the property and size for our party were outstanding. However, you can definitely tell that this is solely a rental property and not someone’s personal vacation home. We had to call maintenence almost everyday of the trip. The team was always professional and came promptly but not all issues were able to be resolved during our stay. There weren’t any problems that were deal breakers but several annoyances (washing machine not draining, ice maker completely out, AC not keeping up and needed maintenence two days in a row including workers in and out of the main bedrooms to access attic). Light colored furniture could also use a deep clean. Overall, would still choose this property again despite the issues.

Construction across the street a bit of a bummer (not your fault) and beach availability at the public access very limited (would be nice to know in advance). Would have been perfect if a bit of a better view of the gulf but otherwise a perfect place to stay.

We enjoyed our visit here and would like to return some day. The gathering areas were great cooking together in the kitchen was wonderful and we had fun at the pool. We had a Chef cook Hibachi one night out by the pool it was fantastic. The pictures are beautiful on the site, but the furnishings have a lot of wear in the main areas, so disappointed in that. We did have issues almost everyday but Royal Destination staff attended to almost all of it. *WIFI connection is not reliable

Shear Elegance Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at Shear Elegance! It is a gorgeous home with lots of space for everyone!! The home is beautifully decorated and appointed with a well stocked huge kitchen, comfortable seating and very nice bedding and linens. The beds are all beautiful and very comfortable! The home was very clean although some of the area rugs were rolling at the edges and some upholstery needed a good cleaning. The pool area is wonderful and was perfect for little ones to play in the shallow area. The pool and deck area were clean when we arrived. The only issues we had were that the elevator did not work while we were there ( management company tried to get it fixed but were not able to) and the pool heater did not work. The pool had a leak which meant we had to add water to the pool with the hose each morning which kept the water temperature pretty chilly. The elevator not working was not a big deal for us, but we would definitely have liked the pool to be heated. The proximity to the beach was awesome! It is truly only steps away. That was wonderful! Royal Destinations was a wonderful company to work with. They were very helpful during the booking process and very responsive to any of our needs during our stay. They did their best to try to correct the elevator and pool issues. We would absolutely stay at Shear Elegance again!

It was also very big and spacious and equipped with lots of furniture and great kitchen space. It was also conveniently extremely close to the beach to where we could go walking and be there in 2 minutes. We could even see the beach from the balcony in front of the house. The backyard and pool/jacuzzi were also a good size. I recommend this house to anyone looking for a great vacation home.

Very nice

The house was great! Actually thought the pictures didn’t do it justice. Plenty of room for 3 families, plus more. There are three different living areas., plus two porches, so plenty of space to be alone. We all loved how soft the beds were! Everything was high end, 2 dishwashers, subzero fridge, wine cooler, ice maker, gas barbecue, etc. great location to public beach. Had issues with pool not heating twice, but workman came out both times within the hour to fix it. Elevator helped to pack groceries & luggage upstairs. Expensive, but highly recommend it! The house across the street was recently torn down, so we had a great ocean view too!

Oasis in the pandemic

This house was fantastic! Other than a few minor cleaning issues, the house was everything we could have asked for. It was spacious, comfortable, and perfect in location. We would definitely recommend it to others and will come back again.
