Loved this VRBO in Galway! Very clean and had all of the amenities. Perfect for 4 of us as there were 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms! We were able to check in early after asking, which was fantastic since we arrived there by train many hours prior to check in. Very friendly host who was very responsive to any questions we had. Definitely would stay again!!

Good communication with host. She responded quickly and was very helpful. The apartment was very clean and easy to locate and access. This was a great location for eating and sightseeing. We would definitely stay there again.

Very comfortable apartment in an area close to the Latin Qtr and many shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The one hiccup we had was responded to quickly by the host. I would definitely recommend for a Galway stay.

Our stay at Barr Taoide was fantastic!

We loved the location of Barr Taoide and especially appreciated the neatness of the place. It was beautifully decorated and designed for comfort.

Great location. Very clean and spacious. Lost a star because the washer dryer was not working correctly and the information on how to get it to work was not clearly marked. We were looking forward to using the machines after 10 days on the road and we weren’t able to get our clothes washed and dried. My only way to reach the owner was through the Expedia app and it was a bit difficult. Otherwise all was great!

One of the nicest apartments we've stayed in. Such an excellent location - just a half-block to get on tours (Galway Tour Co and Wild Atlantic Way), 5-10 minute easy walk to all the pubs and restaurants, a few minutes walk to Eyre Square and and coffee at Esquires Organic Coffee, 5-10 minutes to Galway bus station or train station. Everything was perfect - two bedrooms (we used the one with the smaller ensuite bathroom) that had towels and shampoo/bath-gel attractively arranged on the beds. We used the larger bathroom in the hall for showers. Plenty of heat in all rooms. Living space looks out on the street that is closest to the docks which can be seen off the balcony. Bedrooms face into the inner courtyard and are quiet - the morning sounds are gulls. Very well stocked kitchen with spices, utensils, plates/cups/glasses. We did not have a car so can't comment on the parking. The gate to enter had a keypad and code that worked fine. Apartment key was in a lockbox outside the apartment door. Seemed to be three apartments per floor area and we did not hear anything but an occasional door closing from neighbors. Very highly recommend - worth the extra penny for a lovely stay here!

Very clean. Parking off street was great. Great location next to Eyre Square. Kids loved it. Modern decor with all amenities at hand. Highly recommended.

Excellent place to stay

Gorgeous 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in an amazing location in Galway. Great welcome packet found in the apartment with restaurant suggestions. Just a few minutes walk from everything. Will definitely recommend to any friends going to Galway, and if i return in the future would definitely stay here again. Only current downside is the construction going on outside but that's not anything that can be helped and I believe the sign said done October 2020 so won't be there forever.

Fabulous location

The apartment was clean and quite modern. Everything we needed was in there. And the its location was perfect for sightseeing in Galway. Security was good. We loved this apartment. We wish to come again.

Nice interior

I thought the property was lovely inside. However, the check in process was very complicated and stressful with all the directions and codes. There was small balcony but the view of the construction site was unattractive.

Fantastic location with all the amenities!

Very walkable and parking space. Beautiful inside, but huge picture window looks out onto a construction site that is pretty loud. The ONLY downside really. Management was very easy to get a hold of, elevators, nice kitchen and bathrooms. No AC as with most places in Ireland. Could have used a fan to circulate air. We would stay there again!

Great apartment in the heart of Galway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is in a great location to enjoy the city on foot. It was clean and comfortable and the balcony was a nice place to stand on a rainy night. Communication with property manager was good, instructions were clear. Using the information provided, we were able to get into parking and the apartment with ease. I would recommend this place to friends interested in visiting Galway.

perfect location

Overall was a perfect trip. Coming off a 6:00 a.m.. flight be prepared you can't get into unit until late afternoon around 4:00 p.m. so make other plans. The location was perfect and the unit was excellent (everything we needed). We could have used more towels but having the washer was key. I would highly recommend this place.

Close to Latin Quarter

Great location close to Latin Quarter with an abundance of restaurants and across the street from a great supermarket. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The living room area lacked a coffee table and side tables which made it difficult to set down a wine glass or a book or a plate. We found access to the apartment a bit cumbersome. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves!!!!!

Galway in March

Some confusion with entry information. Once received very easy to follow directions. Great location. Only blocks from main pedestrian only area. Great location to use as a home-base. Apartment was well stocked and very nice. Beds were comfortable - major importance to me. Having an assigned parking space onsite was priceless. Would stay here again. Be sure to pack layers. The wind cuts they to bones even if sunny. If no wind, weather was fine.

Gorgeous apartment! Great location.

Roomy Apartment, Great Location

This apartment in Galway was well appointed and very clean. Looked newly remodeled and was enough room for two couples. Elevator is a plus for moving luggage. Large, modern refrigerator and grocery stores nearby. Underground parking structure with one space was great. Location is perfect near restaurants, pubs, shopping. Management company was very responsive and helpful.
