Buscando un lugar relajante en el lago? ¡Lo encontraste! Muy privado. Pendiente suave hacia aguas todo el año. Zona de aparcamiento independiente para remolques de embarcaciones.

Gran porche trasero con vistas al lago con mecedoras y comedor exterior. Firepit con muchos asientos para esas noches tranquilas y asombrosas estrellas.

Lago muy limpio perfecto para nadar y pescar. Algunos suministros de pesca y flotadores de natación disponibles.

Alquile un pontón o motos acuáticas en el puerto deportivo local. Un montón de tiendas y cosas que hacer en la zona. Brasstown Calvo es la montaña más alta de GA (puedes ver Atlanta en un día claro). Cascadas y bodegas por todas partes. El Casino Harrah's en Murphy, NC, está a 20 minutos.

3 dormitorios, más un sofá cama mejorado y 2 1/2 baños. El maestro tiene una cama tamaño queen, el dormitorio de invitados en el piso superior tiene 2 gemelos, uno de ellos con una cama nido IKEA que se desliza para una cama tamaño queen. El dormitorio de abajo tiene una cama King y dos literas, junto con un gran baño privado con calefacción por suelo radiante. El sofá cama de arriba se infla para una comodidad perfecta y da a la chimenea y al televisor o una agradable velada. Lavadora / secadora de arriba. Horno a gas doble en cocina.

Gran sala grande con grandes electrodomésticos y chimenea real. Los altavoces de sonido envolvente hacen que la sala sea ideal para películas y juegos de pelota. Altavoces exteriores en el porche trasero también. Firepit con vistas al lago y al muelle.

La pesca desde el muelle generalmente resulta en éxito y mucha diversión. ¡Enseña a tus hijos a pescar a la antigua usanza con cañas de bambú que crecen en la propiedad!

Beautiful place with gorgeous views of the lake! We enjoyed Thanksgiving with our family of 8. Fire pit and dock were a great addition. Plenty of room and all the comforts of home. Can’t wait to visit in warmer months to enjoy lake time.

We rocked on the porch, swam, kayaked, paddle boarded and rested right on the lake. After all this had a comfy night sleep. Delightful!

Love this Lake Cabin!

This is our second year staying at this cabin. The owner is easy to work with and friendly. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Lake view was great and the location on the lake is great too. They added a Lilly pad for the lake and that was a huge crowd pleaser for the kids.

Nice family get together

Cabin was very nice, pictures online exactly what we found. Very cold during our visit. Cabin and layout more suited for warm weather. Would recommend to others. Owner was very responsive when contacted.

Mountain Lake Retreat

We had a wonderful time and stay at a house that was full of family love. We stayed across the street from my sons in-laws house and we rotated meal prep for breakfast and dinner for eight people and found the accommodations well suited to support our needs. We ate out on the deck overlooking the lake and it was common to see deer running around when the sun was setting. We rented a boat for the week and the dock at the house worked perfectly. Great Lake Cabin!

We stayed here with my close family and the kids to enjoy relaxing time on the lake with our boat. The location is close to the public dock, has ample amount of parking for a trailer, and a great spot on a cove that doesn’t have boat traffic to flip you on your raft while relaxing in the water. House was clean and the boat, Bob, was great and nice to talk with. If you stay here be sure to visit the lake Nottley marina to gas up and grab some boiled peanuts. .Great family ran business. We’ll look to return on our next trip for sure!

Exactly as advertised and reviewed. Bobs communication was the best I've ever received with years of VRBO rentals and I've had some good ones. Perfect location for our combined group of 7 with room to spare. Easy living in a home that is clearly cared for. As easy as the access can be for all ages to the home and lake level. All the space needed to bring your own water toys or rent some while here. Plenty to do in the area if your looking for an off-lake experience. Big thank you to Bob for referring the great people over at Nottely Marine. Just another group of guenuinly nice people to work with. Thank you again Bob for sharing such a wonderful property with us. We will never forget the time we got to spend together there.

Family time is what this place is all about

Put your phones away and plan to be outdoors the entire trip. The house is located on the lake in a nice quiet cove. We enjoyed hanging out on the dock getting our tan on, jumping in the water to cool off and hitting the kayaks and pedal boat for exploring and fishing in the cove area. At night you can enjoy grilling dinner, hanging around the fire pit, or night fishing off the dock. This cabin is meant for getting outdoors and hanging out with friends or family. Rent a boat at the Nottely Boat Club for the day and go tubing or explore the lake and observe the beautiful homes on the lake.

Awesome Place!

This is a great place in a great location. It is just a short drive to all the local mountain attractions and the lake is perfect. My son was able to catch the fish he could stand right off the dock. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Backyard with water

Aside from the overall cleanliness and layout of the house, the kids had to go no further than the backyard for all the fun they could want. They stayed occupied without ever having to leave the property. Adults could just sit back & enjoy their happiness. Thanks, Bob! You're an understanding and great host.

beautiful quiet lake getaway

Plenty of level ground for parking, Very comfortable bed. Beautiful view of the lake. I could sit on the back porch all day looking at the view. The water was a little too cold to swim right now but we tried it anyways. My hubby caught a few fish. We took our kayaks and I enjoyed just paddling around in the cove. NO boats or wave runners to knock me over. Nice and quiet is what I wanted and it live up to that. I never found the hammock but that would have been great to nap in. We had most of what we needed for the stay. I would just suggest maybe instructions on how to work the thermostat. We had a little unexpected delay getting in but was resolved quickly. The pictures are true to what you get. Everything feels new (not run down or falling apart). Would love to go back when the weather is warmer and get to swim around more or just sit and watch the geese again. Thank you Bob for allowing us to experience your little piece of heaven.

I'm a laid back, semi-retired good 'ole boy from the Western Carolina mountains. Graduated Appalachian State with an IT degree and took it to Atlanta for 30 years. Finally realized my dream was to be back in the mountains and on a lake. Getting away from the city, traffic, and daily grind was such a stress reliever!

Now I travel around the Carolinas helping homeowners invest in solar to eliminate their power bills. I get back up to the lakehouse as often as I can, but not enough so I decided to share it with you. Please take care of it as it will become my permanent home soon.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

I was blessed to stumble on this property in 2005. I fell in love with it because of the gentle slope to the water, the circular driveway with plenty of parking and separate parking for boat trailers.

I designed the lakehouse myself to take advantage of the space, views, and peacefulness of the setting. I worked the 1.3 acres for 3 years, wearing out a chain saw and at least 2 weedeaters. In May of 2009, the house was ready. The following year, I finished the basement by adding another master room with a king and 2 bunk beds, a private bath, and another family room overlooking the lake.

The firepit "amphitheater" area was built in 2016. The house still looks brand new and we like it that way. It's very comfortable for families or just a few couples enjoying some time away from the grind.

In April 2024, the shoreline project was completed. Removed trees for better lake views, lots of grading, 6 tons or granite "rip rap", new concrete dock ramp, new gangway, expanded dock surface.

Blairsville is full of heritage. There seems to be a festival or parade almost every weekend. The antique shops and flea markets are loaded with treasures. There is plenty to do in the area from antique shopping, combing through huge flea markets, hiking, horseback riding, chasing waterfalls, exploring the other nearby towns like Blue Ridge and Murphy, NC (20 minutes away to the Casino).

Of course, you can always enjoy the day by swimming, floating, and fishing off the dock. Local marinas have pontoons and jet skis for rent too.

Gentle slope with stairs all the way to the lake. Water is almost always clear and calm, great for swimming and fishing. Separate, easy parking for boat trailers. Close to gas station and Walmart. Six miles into town. Dead end street with minimal traffic.
