A little bit about us: Isadora is a musician, a cellist, and I originally trained as an actor here in London many years ago. We actually met while studying, and London has been a huge part of our lives ever since. Isi is originally from Chile, and although we travel whenever we can, London is very much home for both of us.

I’ve lived all over the city during the past 25 years at one point even on a narrowboat on the Grand Union Canal, drifting from east to west! Isi has been here five years now, and together we’ve really fallen in love with this beautiful pocket of north London.

We currently spend much of our time in south London because Isi’s little boy goes to school there, which is why we’ve chosen to holiday-let our Highgate apartment. And truthfully, we absolutely love hosting. It’s such a joy meeting the wonderful people who come to stay with us, hearing their stories, and making sure they have a perfect London experience. We take pride in offering warm, thoughtful hospitality and genuinely enjoy welcoming every guest who walks through our door.

The apartment is set in a very quiet tree lined street and a few minutes walk from beautiful Highgate and trendy Couch End. The location couldn’t be better. You’re in a peaceful conservation area, and just a short stroll to Archway tube. You can wander to Crouch End with all its cosy cafés, bars, restaurants and cinemas, or head the other way to the beautiful village of Highgate with its parks, pubs and historic cemetery. Hampstead Heath is close too if you fancy a long walk.

We love our apartment, it really is a little gem. Set in a gorgeous Edwardian building, you walk through this wonderfully grand communal hallway that immediately gives you that “London charm” feeling. Inside, the apartment is a duplex, so it feels like your own mini-home rather than a typical flat living room, kitchen and hallway downstairs, and the bedrooms tucked quietly upstairs.

Climb one more short flight and you reach the private roof terrace, where you can look out across the London skyline. It’s especially lovely at sunrise or sunset, a perfect spot for a quiet coffee or a glass of wine.

It’s a place full of character, calm and charm, a genuine London retreat that feels welcoming the moment you arrive.
