Encantador ático en el centro histórico, a pocos pasos del característico barrio medieval. Vigas a la vista y todas las comodidades en un apartamento que combina belleza y confort.
Accesible desde un vuelo de 50 escalones en un edificio histórico en Orvieto, el ático consta de una gran sala de estar con cocina abierta y chimenea.
Una habitación doble con armario separado de una ventana en particular, la otra habitación tiene dos camas individuales. En la habitación doble existe la posibilidad de una cuna sin suplemento.
Baño con ducha.
Todo amueblado con gusto y simplicidad, hace que el apartamento sea muy acogedor y confortable para estancias agradables en uno de los lugares más bellos de Umbría.

Such a lovely place to spend a few days! Close to all the spots but also cozy for staying in and nice kitchen for cooking. I really recommend it!

Lovely stay

Great location in a wonderful town! We didn't have a car, so we spent the whole time exploring on foot, and the apartment was perfect for that (even if those stairs are no joke!) Don't miss sunset on the rooftop deck.

Lovely Apartment in Orvieto

Great place in the middle of town. Be prepared to climb steps, but if your able, lovely 2 bedroom appt with outdoor rooftop siting area. Info from communication was good, but didn’t occur till just before your visit. Would stay here again!

Stunning views

Couldn’t ask for a better location! Washing machine was broken while we were there, but the host refunded all launderette costs. Hanging space in the wardrobe has been taken by linen and a mattress. Overall, we loved our time in Orvieto!

Family of four and we absolutely loved the house and Orvieto. Amazing local restaurants and places see. The Underground Tour is worth a visit. Our favorite restaurant was Charlie. The host gave great instructions via messages, property had AC, washer and a great patio with views of the city and hillsides.

Lovely attic apartment

Was a lovely attic apartment with many stairs to get up-66. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We were sad there were no coffee pods for coffee, but everything else was great.

Lovely suite in a beautiful Italian town

Everything about this stay was great and we hope to return in the future for an even longer stay. Orvieto is beautiful and this apartment would be an ideal place to use as a base to explore the region. Easy to get to by train from Florence (and Rome), close to everything in this small town, clear and quick communication and, while we didn't need it, parking options. The apartment itself was beyond expectation. The bed was so comfortable, bathroom spacious and kitchen nicely equipped. It feels like your personal vacation home when you're sitting in the living room or out on the patio!

Fall in love with Orvieto

The Paper House could not be more perfect. It is a very unique apartment, that became our home away from home as we explored Orvieto and a side trip to Firenze (Florence). We would certainly recommend anyone thinking of visiting Italy to include Orvieto as a destination and very specifically The Paper House as your place to stay.

We DO NOT recommend this property. It is dirty with cobwebs, dirt on the floor, dirty windows, mold on the walls and in the refrigerator. The bathroom had stains. The shower was filthy. The toilet was almost impossible to want to use. We almost purchased a flea bomb because we felt we were getting bit.

Really neat apartment at the top of many stairs

A wonderful multi-room flat with great terrace views of Orvieto rooftops and the surrounding countryside. Location is great— very central/convenient to restaurants and walking routes. Highly recommended. If you have heavy suitcases, prepare yourselves for a moderate slog from the parking below town. Even with the escalators. But worth it in the end!

Clean place near town

We discovered someone had been inside at least twice after the door to the upstairs was left open(we closed it on purpose before leaving). When I messaged the host about it, they stopped all communication with me. Made us pretty uncomfortable.

Cozy home stay within city walls

We had a cozy stay in this home. It is up about 60 stairs, so be prepared. This home feels like the family stays here as well as guests. There are home-y touches. We arrived on a cloudy rainy day and the main room and bedroom was dark with areas of low ceiling. On a sunny day the skylights let in more light and it’s more cheerful. The patio is a nice space but it was in the shade and too cool on our visit to be used. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and Coffee (pod) maker and Moka pots, microwave, large fridge, dishwasher and gas stovetop and oven. There were nice amenities like salt pepper sugar, balsamic and coffee left and available. The shower could use a new shower head- would be an easy fix. There is a clothes washer but it was broken for our visit. The location was amazing to visit this town and staying in one of these old building was a treat. it’s an old building and see the charm because it’s not a clean crisp hotel room. We took the funicular up from the train/bus station and boarded the local circulating bus/van. If you take the funicular up it also gets you a ticket on the circulator bus. Get off when you see the dodecahedron and your a few minutes walk to this location. We rented bikes about 5 min walk away. They also do great tours- Orvieto Bicycle Experience. We didn’t have any luck communicating with them ahead of time. No one answers email. It they were great to work with once we got there. Would recommend . Great responsive host. Check in EZ

Peaceful Orvieto

This apartment is exactly as advertised. It is a hidden gem in peaceful Orvieto. If you have mobility issues, this is NOT the apartment for you. The stairs provided wonderful exercise for the three of us! The apartment is well appointed, clean, and quiet. The kitchen is perfectly appointed with all you need. Alessandra was always available and very responsive. I highly recommend this apartment for those who need a clean, safe, quiet place to rest and decompress. I would definitely rent again should I return to Orvieto. Orvieto itself is truly a gem and worth more than a day trip! Alessandra, thank you, thank you, thank you! You were so flexible and patient with my changes and questions. You are a blessed woman indeed to own this beautiful little apartment in such a stunning place as Orvieto. I wish you the best, and if I return to Orvieto, I will look to reserve your attic apartment again!

Het appartement is op de bovenste verdieping, prachtig oud, maar mooi opgeknapt. Compleet ingericht en schoon. Vanuit het dakterras mooi zicht op de rest van het stadje. Middeen in het centrum bij alle voorzieningen. Het was heerlijk!
