Wonderful villa

This was our third trip to St Barts and we love it more each time. This villa was perfect for our stay. Extremely clean and has all the amenities you need including beach chairs for the beach! There is a nice outside patio that is very relaxing. Odile was a great host as well. She made sure we had everything we needed and recommended some local restaurants too!

A great experience

My wife and I came for our anniversary and had the best time. Madame Odile is a truly fantastic host and goes above and beyond for her guests. The house is in a perfect location and is very comfortable, with a nice sitting area outside and a fully equipped kitchen. We can't recommend it enough!

Clean new property, attentive owners

Excellent communication prior and after arrival , they met us at the airport to follow them back to the house with our rental car. Clean new and air conditioning! Bbq grill, plenty of outdoor seating on the veranda or terrace. We stayed for 7 days and they kept the room and towels fresh. As for location, great beaches all around, we had a car to explore the small island, all neighborhoods are the same on the island and a short drive. We ate lunch at a different 5 star resort on the beach every day for lunch and drinks and went to Gustavia port at night for 7 days. 2 great bakeries for breakfast.

Nice economical house that is close - up the hill from Flamands beach

Clean. Has everything you need in kitchen, linens, beach towels, beach chairs, nice shampoo etc. maid came twice. Owners live close

perfection on St Barts

Just left this beautiful little house, perfect location, spotless inside,,wonderful front porch for evening cocktails, top notch bathroom and kitchen, great air conditioner! We couldn't have been any happier with this home! Home owner Magras Odile was supper sweet! 10 on a 10 scale!

Amazing hosts, so friendly and helpful!

Beautiful home inside and out. Very clean and well maintained. Landscape was beautiful and location is ideal for getting around the island. Towels and beach towels were high quality, and the bathroom products too. No request was unmet. Thank you for lending us the adapters! We want to return to SBH VERY soon. This will be our choice. P.S. Love your cat.

IXORA Villa is just the perfect place to enjoy a week vacation in St Barths.

First, let us thank Odile and Yves for their hospitality, warmth and care. We could not have felt more welcome from the time we were met at the airport to guide us to the villa to the day we departed a week later. IXORA is ideal for a couple, comfortable, very clean, and modern, with all the conveniences required for comfortable living, and much more. We especially enjoyed the covered deck complete with gas grille, table and chairs, and lounge chairs. Nothing is better than enjoying a morning cup of coffee on the deck, and just taking in the beautiful island surroundings and the warm breezes. We used the grille to cook most of our meals, both lunch and dinner. We found the local grocery store nearby the airport, a short 10 minute drive from the villa, fully modern and stocked with everything required for inventive culinary creations, and we definitely took advantage of that. From the villa to the Flamands beach is a short 5 minute fun drive, with the road curving quickly down a good several hundred meters to reach sea level. And what a wonderful beach with warm breezes soft sand, and amazing clear blue water. Being there in June, which is into low season for the island, we found the mile stretch of beach almost to ourselves with only a few other bathers enjoying the sun. As other have mentioned in their reviews, Odile and Yves were kind enough to secure us local lobsters. Yves expertly cleaned them ready for the grille. What is better than grilled lobster, enjoyed with a wonderful glass of fine wine. NOTHING! Something we were looking forward to, and did not disappoint. We made almost daily trips to Gustavia, also a short distance from the villa by car, to browse the local shops and enjoy the wonderful harbor area. Swedish history of the town was one of the reasons we chose St Barths for our vacation. Fun to see the mix of Swedish and French cultures, with Sweden having settled the island and later selling it to the French. Both cultures are apparent from the Swedish and French flags flying at the airport, to the street names in Gustavia listed in both French and old Swedish. St Barth is now, of course, part of the French West indies (FWI), so very much a modern French-speaking island with wonderful French bakeries and restaurants as one would expect anywhere in French coastal towns, but mixed with the vibe of the West Indies. As a final though, we will be back, and perhaps many more times. Regards to Odile and Yves, many thanks.

3 Weeks at Ixora Villa

We have been visiting St Barths many times since 1980. We have stayed in large villas with friends and at hotels that no longer exist. We have stayed in the Flamands area about eight times and believe it is the nicest beach with the proximity to the Petite Colombe Bakery is a big plus. Villa Ixora is a perfect and charming villa that is extremely clean, well designed and well cared for by Yves and Odile. There is everything you could possibly want for a vacation in the villa and we shall return!

A beautiful little gem

Marvelously hospitality from our host and hostess Yves and Odile beginning with a small bottle of champagne! The property is lovely, in pristine condition, with all the amenities and obviously attentive care inside and out. It exceeded our expectations and we look forward to returning in the future. It was great.

Property was beautiful, great location amazing owners!

Ixora is a gem hidden in Flamand. This was our third time to SBH and one of our favorite places to stay. Kitchen was wonderful, we cooked at home a few times; delicious seafood and steaks from the markets. The owners are able to get fresh Lobster if you wish, as well! Both Odile and Yve were incredibly helpful and amazing hosts. Already planning a return trip and strongly recommend this place!

Perfecr couple's getaway

Villa Ixora is a hidden gem on the island of St. Barts. Modern, clean, comfortable, and feels as if it is still brand new. The owners are kind and helpful, yet give you your privacy. We plan on staying there every year for our anniversary.

Petit joyau à St.Barthelemy

Magnifique petite maison dans un terrain verdoyant de flamboyant, arbres des Antilles de tous genres. Propre très bien équipée cette maison est relaxante dans un quartier calme. Terrasse et deck avec des chaises longues pour prendre le soleil. Même le barbecue nous attend pour griller des bons poissons. Propriétaires très discret présents si besoin. D'une gentillesse naturelle rare ou l'on se sent bien. Tout est pensé de la machine à café a l'etendoir à linge. Avec discrétion une dame de Ménage nous nettoie la maison et change le linge pour une rentrée de plage dans la propreté. Même le café est à disposition à notre arrivée (chose qu on oubli tout le temps d'acheter), bouteille d'eau fraîche dans le frigot....TV et chaîne Hi-Fi... Chambre grande avec un bureau pour écrire ses pensée. Nous avons été plus que ravi de l'accueil et l'endroit. Nous y reviendrons! Merci à la famille Magras . Rodolphe et Cedric.

C'est le top ! Trés très belle expérience.

Comment dire ? Cela fait plusieurs années que nous venons à ST BARTH. Nous venons de trouver la perle de l'ile ! Les propriétaires sont très accueillant, gentils au possible. Lorsque nous serons que deux personnes, nous saurons désormais où allez. LC
