Modern property with great access

This is a lovely property, modern in design and presentation with great utilities provided. There is a private garden space and lovely lounge. Great access to A14 for trips elsewhere and close to Cambridge.

Superb house in Cambridge

We wanted to have a few days exploring around Cambridge during half term with our teenage son.This super property is within easy driving distance, is exceptionally modern and clean and has everything we wanted.Check in was simple using the key box facility, the owner was very friendly and communicative and had left a helpful range of cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. There was even a small bottle of milk and other useful supplies. We were very impressed indeed with everything about this property and would happily book it again if we were in the area.

An absolutely amazing house

We arrived from Australia to not only an early check in but a warm, beautiful home decked in Christmas decorations to make us all feel merry and bright. We used to live in Histon so this was a fantastic location for our family. Overall this house was perfect and we can’t wait to comeagain.

Lovely garden house

Comfortable, clean, lovely roomy accommodation. Ideally placed just off A14 so very good location. Andrew host made us very welcome. We really enjoyed our visit and will return.

Couldn’t make it any better!

stayed at many great VRBO properties over the years but this one is head and shoulders above all the others. Beautiful property. Owners have thought of everything you may need and even some things you didn’t realize you might need😊 Friendly, and accommodating. I could go on, but just know…beautiful property, well appointed and stocked and owners who care about your experience.

Fabulous trip to Cambridge!

The Garden House in Cambridge was the perfect spot for a (grown up) girls weekend. The property is beautifully presented, has more than all the essentials you need, and the hosts made us very welcome. Access into the city was so easy, and there are lots of lovely spots in the local area for drinks or dining. We would definitely recommend!

Perfect little bolt-hold

Beautiful property, in a peaceful setting, very well appointed and lovely grounds, with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. We only stayed for a couple of nights, but would work well for a much longer visit. Great location, with easy access to Cambridge by car, but the bus offers a cheap and probably much quicker option too. Andrew was very responsive and helpful. The homemade curries from the local shop are well worth a try!

Excellent séjour

La maison est vraiment très agréable, propre et moderne, avec un haut plafond dans le séjour. Elle est très bien décorée et parfaitement équipée. Nous avons pu utiliser 2 vélos et prendre le bus facilement pour nous déplacer.

4-night Stay at The Garden House

We had a 4-night stay at The Garden House. The property is extremely well presented, and has everything you could possibly need for a home-from-home break. Its location makes it easy to explore central Cambridge. You can leave the car behind and pop on the local busway.

Wonderful stay

We have just returned from a wonderful 4 night stay at the Garden House. The accommodation is beautifully presented, spacious, bright and spotlessly clean and tidy. Furnished to a very high standard with comfy sofa, chairs and beds. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need and kitchen cupboards well stocked with a fantastic selection of teas, coffees, sugar and essentials. The property is located in a peaceful residential street with easy access to the city of Cambridge and surrounding villages. We can highly recommend a stay at the Garden House. Thank you Andrew for sharing your amazing property. Our stay was perfect in every way.

A haven so close to bustling Cambridge

The house is beautiful and superbly equipped. The garden and outside space are perfect for dining and relaxing outside. The area is very quiet but ideally situated for eating out and enjoying local amenities. Hosts were on hand for support without being intrusive. Will definately use again.

Five star property!!!

The house was perfect!!!! Spacious. Extremely clean. Beautiful and new kitchen and bathroom. Very comfortable beds and linens . Stunning garden. And a wonderful location . A 2 minute walk to the bus station and the coffee shop with the best tasting crossaints!!! Also 2 minute walk to a supermarket… Loved it!! Hope to come back

Perfect booking

Beautiful property, very high standard of furnishings, great postion within vibrant town just outside Cambridge city attractions. Ease of access to everything, very short walk, to public transport or use house bicycles or hire electic scooters to get around. Town has all the amenities you will need and also an array of great pubs and eating places. Property has everything that you need, secure off road parking, shop/pub nearby and even a quiet patio area for alfresco eating. Wild life everywhere, we even saw a deer in the garden and plenty of garden birds. Property owners were brilliant and very accomodating with advice for places to walk and other essential local amenities. Overall we have stayed in many holiday rentals and this property is one of the best. Big thanks to Andrew and his wife for their friendliness, genuine wamth and for being perfext hosts. Lovely contemporary house

We had a lovely few days in this spacious contemporary house. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. We had great weather and made full use of the bifold doors and lovely patio. We enjoyed days out to Cambridge Botanical Gardens and Wimpole Estate. Communication with the owner was easy and efficient.

Absolutely Amazing Property And Such Wonderful Hosts!

We stayed here in May 2021 for my partners birthday weekend. I chose this amazing holiday property as it looked to have the location, features and WOW factor to make her feel special and loved - it didn't let me down. From the booking process, to arrival and check-out after 3 wonderful evenings here, Andrew and Vanessa made everything so simple and easy. The property is tucked away in a quiet residential area, but with a little convenience store a short walk away and a 5-10 minute drive into the city of Cambridge. The home is perfectly placed to visit Cambridge, Ely, Newmarket and Lavenham (in Suffolk) all of which we did over the few days we stayed here. It's a very simple, but highly effective and very stylish new build property and no expense has been spared with the decor and fixtures / fittings and furnishings - it's all been done to a very high level and everything you could ever need is here. The presentation of the property is first class and cleanliness is to a very, very high level. This is property comes high rated by ourselves and with such perfect hosts, you are in very good hands. I am a part time graphic designer and now someone who does house work while my wife works as a cycling project officer in Cambridge, the N0.1 cycling city in the UK, helping create safe cycle paths and infrastructure. We have two daughters in their twenties, Matilda and Marianne. We both enjoy traveling and related culture in many forms, primarily history, art and food. We both walk in rural landscapes when we can and cycle in urban ones. We are both keen on current affairs and politics (still ...) We lived in the Netherlands for a few years and so have a particular love for the low countries, France and Spain, specially the art and food. Vanessa my wife speaks fluent French which helps, although my love for Belgian beer tops all. We have traveled extensively and loved so many places, particularly Nepal and India, but also love the south west of the USA and recently Costa Rica and Nicaragua. I am a life long fan of Tottenham Hotspur Football club which is why I have aged beyond my years!

Histon & Impington are two historic villages linked together on the edge of Cambridge. From the house there are lovely views of Impington Mill, a recently restored windmill. Just 3 minutes’ walk from the house is a well-stocked corner shop (with superb Indian takeaway food) and a pub serving meals. In fact Histon & Impington has 6 pubs in total (all offering food), 2 cafes, 2 mini-supermarkets, 2 pharmacies, a football club, parks with playgrounds and a village green with a brook always teeming with ducks. We are happy to give recommendations for eating locally, in Cambridge or the neighbouring villages.
