I’ve reviewed the chat and can see you tried to make the booking earlier which we informed you was not possible. We offered you another apartment in a quote that you accepted and then you complained you had been charged. In order to ensure clear communication I’d advise you avoid confirming reservations until you know you want to stay to avoid unnecessary administrative hassle on both sides. Regardless we would be happy to host you again in the future.

We appreciate the suggestion regarding the check in instructions and will review how these are presented to make them easier to follow in one place. For clarity, parking is not advertised as part of the listing. We are always happy to advise guests on parking options, however in this case we were not contacted in advance about parking and only heard from you after a ticket had already been issued because the vehicle was parked in a restricted area. As parking on the surrounding streets is public and managed by the local council, it is not linked to the flat and unfortunately there is very little we can do once a ticket has been issued. Had we known in advance that you were planning to arrive by car, we would of course have been happy to advise on the appropriate parking arrangements beforehand.
