Railway Cottage - character cottage, walking distance to restaurant/bakery
A perfect location for a memorable holiday for all the family.
Spacious 4 bed cottage on the edge of town so easy to walk in to enjoy a meal out or stay home and use the great kitchen, or even the BBQ, for a slap up meal in the comfort of your cottage. A huge pool (seasonal) with plenty of space for everyone, over 3 acres of gardens for you to enjoy. The town is famous for its Wednesday morning market, is just 10 minutes from the beach at the lake. There is loads to do for the whole family!
This is a large comfortable character cottage which has a well equipped kitchen, large lounge and lovely dining space with gorgeous beamed ceilings and lovely woodburner in case it gets chilly. There are four good sized bedrooms, 2 x double (one on the ground floor), 1 x family room with double & bunk beds and 1 x twin. All your bed linen is provided free of charge. There are two full bathrooms plus another separate WC and we will also provide towels included in the price too.
You can enjoy your evenings on your private patio area, cook a great BBQ and enjoy all the space here.
On the enclosed, shared terrace there are family outdoor games plus you have access to all the garden games for when you are feeling energetic. There are 3 acres for you all to enjoy. The communal secure pool and area is fabulous and reaches temperatures in the high 30's often. There is a selection of comfortable loungers, seats and toys so you can enjoy your time by the pool. We'll provide you with swimming towels free of charge to use for your stay.
Nearby you are spoilt for choice with things to do with the stunning town of Brantome being only 30 minutes away, a fantastic swimming lake just 10 minutes away for fun on the beach in St Estephe, nearby go-karting, a winery and beer manufacturing all within a short drive. Plenty to keep everyone entertained.
Of course there is free WiFi for you to use and if you request in advance we are more than happy to also provide a cot and a highchair.
Check in is between 4pm and 8pm and check out is by 10am. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch. Please note that there are a further 2 gites on this site so the gardens and pool are shared but all gites have their own private patio/outdoor space.
