Short and sweet, but PERFECT stay!

Our little family absolutely adored this cabin. The photos don’t do the property justice. It was absolutely beautiful. Internet was a little spotty here and there, but it allowed for plenty of time to “unplug”. Our kiddos especially loved the “new to them” toys provided at the cabin. Such fun nostalgic items like wooden train tracks and board games from the 90’s. We couldn’t get our oldest out of the lake or off of the dock from fishing. We have talked to everyone in our family about this place and can’t wait to plan another trip! We ventured to the Georgia Aquarium for a day trip which we highly recommend if you have the time to head down that way. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay and a much needed family getaway!

Private Mt. Lake

This was our second time staying in this lovely home. All you need for relaxing, cooking, and privacy are guaranteed. The house is just as it appears online. Of all the dozens of VRBO rentals we have stayed in across the US, this ranks in the top 5. There is so much to do - enjoying Lake Becky, visiting nearby towns of Walhalla, Cashiers and Highlands (NC), and hiking in gorgeous Oconee Stare Park. The hosts are the best. Highly recommend this gem in the mountains.

Good Memories

Nice cabin, looks better in person. It’s the prettiest home in the neighborhood. Our family enjoyed the getaway from work and school, it really helped us disconnect. A lot of beautiful places to visit all within a 1-2h drive. Owner was easy to reach and had plenty of information for visitors. Would return again.

Quiet lake retreat

The house was spacious and well stocked with everything for cooking. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boat, canoe, floats and swimming from the dock/beach. The grill came in handy when a storm knocked out power right at dinner time. My only suggestion is to add a few battery operated lanterns in the event that the power stays off for an extended period. We would stay again.

Lake life.. perfect place to relax, unplug and unwind. Just plain relaxing. If you go, save a night for a steak at Dakota's best steak we have ever had. Make sure you are there by 5:00

Perfect Lakefront Getaway

My family and I just had the opportunity to stay at this house for a week to celebrate my wife’s birthday and just good old family time together. The property was just as advertised and had everything we needed and wanted during our stay. Having the small beach and dock right in the back yard was my kids haven the entire week. Even when we went out exploring they would ask when we would be back to the vacation house. The across the water neighbor was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It was a quiet lake, my kids were probably the loudest thing around. Not much boat traffic at all and great for relaxing on their canoe, kayaks, and paddle boat. It was a loved and loved in home that we had the opportunity to hop in and be a part of. We are very thankful to have had the time we did. We got the chance to meet the owners as we unfortunately were a bit late on checkout. 4 kids life makes things a bit crazy sometimes.There is always something else. But they came in and were gracious as they had to prepare for their next guests. Thank you both and we may be back again if you’ll have us!

Quiet and secluded

I enjoyed my week in the upstate while staying at the cabin. It was a good location, close to Clemson. I had no cell phone service but owner let me know that Wi-Fi calling would have addressed that. Loved the view and the peacefulness of the property.

We truly enjoyed our stay. This cabin is an awesome place to stay.

This home was a very comfortable place to stay with great amenities. We enjoyed spending some time on the lake fishing, kayaking and taking in the scenery. At night we also spent some time relaxing around the fireplace. I hope to have an opportunity to visit again.

Lake Life !

What a peaceful and relaxing experience. House is very nice and the view is perfect. If your looking to get any from the every day this is the place to unwind. Kayak, canoe, swim or fish, beautiful little lake. Host were amazing everything you could need was supplied. Hope to get back next year!

Mountain vacay 22

House was absolutely gorgeous! So was the property! A lot of information provided about the area and surrounding areas with things to do. We hiked issaquena and pigpen/lucklog falls! Very cool, be careful to use 2nd parking lot for pigpen- otherwise adds .5 mile to your hike. Also don’t sit on the rocks at the bottom of licklog falls…we encountered leaches! Weather was good most of the days and then storms rolled in. Be careful to follow the lake rules or you will get in trouble. Other than that tranquil beautiful settings.

Nice and relaxing

The perfect getaway

It has its own private dock with a canoe, two kayaks and a paddle boat, paddles & life-preservers ready to use on a small, but very nice lake with very little motorboat activity making it perfect for canoeing. The house also has a great kitchen stocked with all the necessary utensils and dishes to make it really feel like home when preparing meals. Overall, a great place to stay.

Lake Becky Cabin

We had a blast and wished we would have stayed longer. House was clean and had everything needed for a great family get away. My wife and I took our daughter w her fiancé and 3 grandkids. 2 infants loved playing in pack and play on the beach area while we fished and enjoyed time w each other.

Girls Weekend

Three longtime friends got together at this house to relax, catch-up, and take a break before Thanksgiving. The house was the perfect place to do this - we had lovely views, lots of quiet, and were very comfortable. Highly recommend this house to Anyone looking for a quiet retreat!

Great Property, well worth a visit

We would recommend this property to anyone. A couple or up to three couples or a family. The pictures really don't do this property justice, it is much nicer! The owners have thought of most everything and it is really clean. The kitchen is fully equipped. The rooms and bathrooms are very nice and the array of Kayaks, Canoes and Paddle Boat are more than enough to join the private lake and fishing if you wish. Very nice experience.

Quiet getaway

The photos do not do this place justice. The cabin was new construction with new finishes. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook. The gill was gas and very nice. The lake is beautiful. Paddle boat, floats, canoe and kayaks were provided. This is a great place for a relaxing stay with friends or family.
