Charming apartment in the historic center of Gallipoli with sea view terrace
Beautiful house nestled in the picturesque maze of narrow streets and whitewashed houses of the charming old town of Gallipoli. The house is a few meters from the sea and was recently renovated with particular care for furniture and decoration. The house, located on the first floor is divided into two independent living units linked by a courtyard/terrace. On the top floor there is a lovely roof terrace with stunning sea views.
From the alley, a portal opens onto a courtyard that serves as a common entrance with another house on the ground floor. In this courtyard, a private staircase closed by a gate leads to the house. The living unit A consists of a large room with vaulted ceiling, a kitchenette and a window overlooking the whitewashed houses of the village. This room leads into a bathroom with shower obtained from within on the left and, on the right, to a large and comfortable double bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and a window. This bedroom is equipped with LED TV and air conditioning. Back outside, a few steps lead to a courtyard/terrace with tables and bright colour metal chairs, ideal for breakfast or al fresco dining during the few windy days. This nice and large enough terrace access the living unit B. It consists of a pleasant living room with a beamed ceiling, furnished with a comfortable sofa bed, a round extendable table seating 4-6 guests, a LED TV and air conditioning, a kitchen with vaulted ceiling equipped with a fridge-freezer, electric oven and a dishwasher and a large glass door overlooking the courtyard, a very large bathroom with shower adjacent to the kitchen. The living room gives access both to a small, plain bathroom with shower, serving also as a laundry room with a washing machine, and to a narrow stone staircase leading, firstly, to a double bedroom with vaulted ceiling, a wardrobe, shelves and air conditioning and, secondly, to a splendid furnished terrace with stunning views from south Gallipoli to the tower of Punta Pizzo. The terrace is partly covered by a pergola and furnished with a table for 6 people, sun beds and a masonry sofa. A gas barbecue with side burner and a large stone sink can be used to cook outside. The terrace is also equipped with an outdoor shower.
FYI: car access to the historic centre of Gallipoli is never allowed. The car park at the dock is only a few-minute walk away.
The weekly price includes: the consumption of water and electricity up to 150 kWh per week (overconsumption is charged at € 0.50 per kWh); housekeeping for 3 hours one day a week; bed & bathroom linen (extra sets are available at an additional cost of € 10,00 per each bed and/or bathroom linen set). The weekly price does not include the final cleaning fee of € 120.00, to be paid upon arrival. Small pets are allowed but only on request. FYI: car access to the historic centre of Gallipoli is never allowed. The car park (pay and display parking) at the dock is only a few-minute walk away.
As provided by the law, from June 01st to Sept. 30th it is required the payment of the tourist tax, € 1,00 per person per day for a max. of 7 consecutive days. Children under 16 y.o. and disabled people are exempt.
