Imagínese sentado en el envoltorio alrededor del porche por la mañana bebiendo su café y mirando y viendo ciervos de cola blanca, escuchando pavos salvajes en reposo, o simplemente los sonidos de la naturaleza. Estás en el medio de una granja de 2500 hectáreas escondido de todos los sonidos y luces de la ciudad. Para llegar a su casa viajará una calzada de grava cruzar un pequeño arroyo y una hermosa pequeña cascada. No se preocupe todo tipo de vehículos pueden hacer la unidad. Lovely property, all the beds were SUPER comfortable and just the right amount of space for the six of us and our dog. So much beautiful land around the house with really neat trails to walk the dog (or without a dog!). Close to our Makers Mark visit and Green River Lake where we rented a boat for a day. Would definitely recommend this stay!

Beautiful Retreat

What a perfect place to get away. Caron is a great host. The house was fantastic and well stocked. The area was so beautiful and serene and still close enough to activities. Looking for the perfect getaway, then this is your place.

Great Bourbon getaway

Bourbon Trail Tour

We stayed with 3 couples to tour the distillery's and attend the Bourbon festival. The house was just as advertised! Well stocked and with plenty of room for all of us. Loved sitting on the deck after our tours for the day and enjoying the scenery.

Comfy Home

Thank you for offering this lovely home away from home. We appreciated the special touches throughout and quiet country retreat with family. Children could run and play, plenty of gathering spaces, lovely views and great well equipped kitchen for family meals. And the cows were a fun experience 😊

Tucked Away with a capital T!

This place lives up to its name : ) The house was perfect, comfortable and spacious. We were 6 in total with 4 adults, 2 kids plus one dog and there was room to spare. If you are looking to truly get away from it all, I highly recommended this place. We are definitely planning another visit here.

Celebrating Friends…and Bourbon

The property was very private and well maintained. The privacy allowed for bon fires, walks in nature, and great views of the fall foliage. The house is centrally located on the bourbon trail and exceptionally close to a couple. We all had a wonderful time.

Peaceful location

The house was a wonderful oasis after visiting the Bourbon Trail. The cows welcomed us the first day. It was nice to see cows that up close and they were friendly. We enjoyed the deck both evenings and did get to see wild turkeys one morning. The kitchen was well equipped, and we really appreciated the biscuits and ham!

Met in the Middle

My family had a great stay! My brother's family traveled from Michigan, and we traveled from Georgia. The property had so many things available to make you feel at home! We saw deer, hawks, coyotes, cows, and many other types of birds. The porch was our favorite place, and there was plenty of room for all of us! Beautiful location!

Peace and quiet!

This property was a God send! Traveling to Lebanon for the LL State Tournament with our family (plus my mom and mother in law) was turned into a needed quiet getaway! This beautiful, cozy home was not only comfortable with all the amenities, it was tucked into a slice of God's natural paradise. Caron was so kind and thoughtful. We would definitely stay here again! 10/10

Perfect Getaway for the Bourbon Trail

Great place to stay if you prefer a rural oasis while exploring the southern portions of the bourbon trail. Property has modern finishes, immaculate clean, well stocked, and an open layout to accommodate multiple families. The yard is large and there is a path through the woods for hiking. The owner was wonderful, accomodsting, and helpful as well. Classy touch leaving local ham and biscuits in the fridge for breakfast. Will reccomend this place for friends and family who would need to stay in this area.

Yes, The AC went out on Saturday and I was unable to get it fixed right away. I did how ever provide fans and every room has ceiling fans. Fortunately the weather was is the 70's during the day and lower 60's at night.

Exactly what we needed!

Lovely property. Perfect place to reconnect with family. Comfortable beds and linens. Nice open floor plan. Well appointed kitchen. Clean bathrooms. Owner was kind enough to supply wood for the firepit. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Communications/directions with the Caron were clear and appreciated. We all agreed that we would stay here again. Thanks!

Lovely home off the beaten path

We cannot say enough wonderful things about the home and the owners. We were visiting from Ohio and Chicago to celebrate my moms birthday with Family to explore Bourbon Country and tour a horse center. The house is off the beaten path with lovely views, very clean and comfortable for all of us to have our own space, but spend time together. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch and the bonfire pit. Our only regret was not staying at the house more to enjoy it! We would all come back and stay again.

Amazing Weekend Away

This property was one of the cleanest and most stocked of any VRBOs I have stayed in. It was a wonderful experience. The land was wonderful - very excluded and quiet. The deer that were on the hill every morning were great to watch. Cows! They showed up one day and it was so much fun to see them standing right on the dirt road. We figured out why the gate was asked to be shut at all times. We would have had cows on the porch! Don't hesitate to book this home. It will be great!

Peaceful, Restful, Beautiful

The house was immaculate. Everything we needed was there in abundance. Including ham and biscuits for us to enjoy for breakfast. Being in the middle of a working farm, it was so quiet. We walked the property and drove to bourbon distilleries. We would go back.

Wonderful experience

We very much enjoyed our stay. Our favorite part was sitting on the porch watching for wildlife and admiring the view but the country ham and biscuits provided by Caron were really nice too!

This farm has been in the family for 4 generations. We have been in Lexington and retired back to the farm 10 years ago. I am originally from NY and moved to Louisville and then to Lexington for the past 28 years. The main house on the farm is an event house with a log cabin that I run for corporate events, weddings and receptions. We enjoy the farm living and wide open spaces where you have no traffic and the only noise you hear is nature.
