Con el punto de vista más alto en Beachwalk, el "Beach House" ofrece privacidad e impresionantes vistas de la aclamada comunidad de Beachwalk y el lago Michigan. Great stay!

All around a great stay for our family of 10 ranging from 2-65 years old. The house was very clean, well stocked with all essentials and location to all activities was great! Highly recommend!!!

Breathtaking views, creature comforts, loved it!!

We were at home the moment we walked in. Lots of steps, but well worth it for the view. Everything about this place was great. There were bedrooms on on floors so we could give age groups their own space.

Fantastic place for a family vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Mark was a terrific host, he answered any questions we had promptly. The house had everything we needed for the week. It is quiet, comfortable and has amazing views from the top floor of the surrounding area. We loved the easy access to the beach, and having a pool for those days we didn't want to head to the beach was an added benefit! I highly recommend this lovely home if you are looking for a nice place to stay in Michigan City.

Great house for large group

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was spotless and very well equipped, even beach chairs and towels. Awesome kitchen, dining, living area combined. We took advantage of the pool, tennis/pickle ball court, and ping pong. Be warned, however, that the house itself has MANY stairs and the walk to the beach and pool also involves MANY stairs.

Fantastic property!

We had 8 adults and 7 young kids. This house was so spacious and allowed everyone to spread out. The views from the house are stunning and it was furnished with everything we could've needed, including chairs, umbrellas, and toys for the beach. This house is such a gem. The only downside is the driveway being pretty steep. The larger vehicles were a little harder to navigate but it definitely wasn't a deal-breaker issue. we would love to stay here again!

Amazing A+ stay!

Can't say enough great things about this property. Family reunion from Boston, OH and Milwaukee. We had 14 people ages 12-70 and a toddler. This property has everything you need. The owner was easy to contact for any questions and property description is perfect. 82 steps down to Beachwalk "Main St"/ pool etc and a block from Lake MI. 3 flights in the actual home but didn't feel like we were doing stairs at all b/c it is such a great floor plan. Room for everyone on the couch or to hang out in cozy spots for a nap in the sun or to read. The kitchen is one of the best stocked kitchens we've ever had at a VRBO. We'd come back in a second b/c there is something for everyone at this location. We fit 4 cars in the driveway/ parking area- (a Highlander, 2 RAV-4 and a Honda civic) and one in overflow parking which was readily available. Appreciated the huge laundry room, efficient and new appliances throughout and the AC! Plus all of the beach amenities like tons of towels, chairs, wagon and toys.

It's actually worth it to climb this mountain

We rented as part of a gathering of extended family; there were 10 adults and a 1-year-old in the house. Because we were meeting at others' homes (some rented, some not), we went up and down the hill numerous times per day. It's a challenge. It's also a challenge to get a car with low ground clearance up the hill and into the parking spaces in front of the house (we scratched our front air dam every time, although my sister with an SUV had no problem). Great views from the top two floors of the house, but a LOT of stairs (house is tall & narrow). The owner is honest in his listing about the challenge posed by the stairs and the hill, so we were okay, although by the last night of our 4 day stay I swore I wasn't doing down that hill on foot again for anything short of life and death. The owner is very helpful, reasonable, and cooperative. I'm 75, and I think I would rent the house again.

It is a beautiful property. But many stairs, so not for those with mobility issues. We were only there for 2 nights but we really enjoyed the house. Kitchen was great. Beautiful sunrise while making coffee in the morning and beautiful sunset in the evening. Beds were comfortable. Wifi was good. Hosts were great.

Nice unique house

We gathered here for a family get together over Labor Day weekend. The house has lots of space and plenty of beds for our large group. The kitchen had plenty of dishes. The only drawback was that the house is vertical more than horizontal so we did a lot of going up and down. The family room is on the third floor. Also there is no where to go outside to take a walk since it is located on the top of a hill. Otherwise the house is quite nice with comfortable beds and accommodations. Our grandkids loved it.

Beautiful views

This house comfortably handled our family of 11. The kitchen is the best equipped kitchen of any rental I have been in, and that's quite a few! If you read the reviews, you can see that it is multi story and not for everyone. The views are fabulous and we enjoyed them. The down side to being high, is that its a little hard to walk to the beach or pond/pool area. I know there is a golf cart shuttle service, but we never tried it.

The house was lovely, I would def. Stay there again. Beach was amazing and a quick walk.

The house was perfect for our family get together. The rooms were spacious. Kitchen was amazing as we cooked all our meals at the house.

Fun for all ages!

We were a group of 4 families staying for the Fourth of July weekend! The house was amazing, plenty of room for all, with four levels! We were a 10 minute walk to the beach and the house had tons of beach toys and gear. We were also part of a community called Beachwalk which had a large pond for fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding. There was a pool, snack bar, and game center as well.

Amazing Property

We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic property to celebrate my parents' anniversary with the extended family. This home is beautifully furnished, very clean and exceptionally spacious. The home is fully stocked with every essential, and Mark made everything easy. The multiple levels gave a tremendous sense of space and privacy to our guests, yet the common areas offered plenty of room to gather. We enjoyed the location and views from the hilltop, being set apart from most of the other homes in the Beach Walk community while having easy access to the amenities. Overall, this is a great find. As long as stairs are not a problem, it is hard to imagine a nicer home.

Nicely stocked clean home. Beautiful views. Quiet neighborhood. Downstairs did not seem to maintain cool like it should (we should have reported it during our stay). Main living space is on upper level. Be prepared to take stairs...several of them. Walking to the beach with littles is a hard trip. We did the two hour parking at the boardwalk or we all drove down together and one person took the car back and walked down to meet us. Then when we were ready to go home one person walked up to get the car to retrieve the crew.

Great for our large family

We had a wonderful experience staying at this property in Michigan City. The home was new , very clean and provided all of our needs plus! Close to the beach ( we drove because of all the parafenalia needed for kids at the beach )Ice cream and coffee shop near by . We went on the trails on the sand dunes also and enjoyed all of it. We found a wonderful sandbar to swim out to . The grandkids loved the fuse ball table and it got very loud in the bunk room.

Terrific views, unique home, close to the beach

Mark's property was a wonderful gathering place for our group of adult friends. The top floor (kitchen + family room) is larger and more spacious than it appears in the photos. The bird's nest (top floor) was a spectacular place to view sunsets and watch boats out on the lake. The rest of the house was clean, spacious, modern, and almost every room had a view of the beachwalk community below. We loved how close the house was to the beach - about 5-minutes from the front door downtown to the boardwalk. There are few things that didn't bother us, but may be trouble for other travelers: the house is on a hill and offers amazing views, but this means the driveway is very steep and parking can get a little tricky for more than 3 cars. Also, there are about 75 steps down to the Beachwalk community if you want to go to the pool, tennis, volleyball, or ice cream shop. Lastly, the house itself has many interior steps (4 different floors). Again, this didn't affect our stay and we loved being perched atop the hill with awesome views in every direction. Thanks again Mark!

Wonderful House With Amazing Views

Our extended family of ten greatly enjoyed the house. The views are AMAZING! As others have noted, there are many stairs, but not a big deal unless you have mobility issues. A favorite spot was the lookout at the very top. Everyone seemed to have plenty of room – we really enjoyed the master suite with balcony. The foosball table in the basement was a hit too. The Beachwalk Beach is great – very clean and well maintained. We didn’t get to use it but the pool seemed nice. There’s a snack shop there too. Location is close to everything – Washington Park Zoo was a highlight for the grandkids. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this house.

Family Vacation getaway

Our group included 3 families and 2 grandparents for a getaway in Michigan City, Indiana & New Buffalo, Michigan. The house is located in a great location close to the lake, Lighthouse Outlets, New Buffalo attractions, wineries and breweries and has beautiful views of both Lake Michigan and the picturesque town. The house has 5 levels with lots of stairs but provides space for families and kids, has tons of windows, lights and the layout was great. It is decorated nicely, clean and has much to offer indoors and outdoors. The communal pool and walk to the beach are very convenient and a perk. We would highly recommend this VRBO.

Beautiful home

The home was beautiful & plenty of room for all 13 of us! There were some minor issues. Toaster wasn’t working & fridge wasn’t getting cold. Parking was difficult as the house is on a steep incline and very little room to maneuver. Overall, we had a fun family vacation!

We saw a mix of end of the season weather, cold and a little rain. Great house for an inside weekend. Large, unique layout, fun to explore. Really liked the crows nest. That's were we spent most of the time reading or just watching. Well equipped and comfy.

Michigan City Labor Day Family Convergence

We had a really enjoyable stay on Upland Dr! The house was fantastic, the neighborhood was very nice, the folks staying in Beachwalk were all extremely friendly! Plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. Thank you Mark for your hospitality! The Wests
