A recently built cottage with open plan bedroom for 2 people plus a cot / folding bed, sitting and dining area on first floor with beautiful view through the feature glass gable end into the valley. Downstairs, a kitchen fully equipped and bathroom with shower. A small private garden and free off road parking. Secluded, rural area with local walks in Mortimer Forest and further afield into Shropshire hills. Close to Ludlow and Wales, it is a perfect rural retreat. Work space available plus WiFi.

Comfortable, well equipped cottage

We stayed 4 nights and found it a good base to explore Ludlow and the surrounding area. Large comfortable bed, good walk-in shower and adequate kitchen facilities made our stay most enjoyable.

Excellent Property in Picturesque Area

Really comfortable accommodation ideally situated for exploring this beautiful area. Quiet and relaxing with far reaching views across the rolling hills bordering Herefordshire and Shropshire. Great walks on the doorstep for us and our dogs and Peter and Hillary are super hosts. We will undoubtedly be booking here for our next break in this lovely area.

Beautiful

An absolutely lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the country. The hosts were lovely, very welcoming and friendly. They also gave us some great recommendations for places to go. There are lots of beautiful places to go dog walking nearby and the property itself is fantastic. We had a lovely time during our short stay.

A wonderful find. A little bit of heaven.The unit is spotless, well appointed, and has the most beautiful views of the Shropshire countryside. Peter was great to deal with - very responsive, attended to every need. I loved the week I spent here & would return in a heartbeat. 6 stars out of 5!

The property was clean, well equipped and made the most of the superb view from the gable window. It was let down by the very busy and noisy road (throughout the night) and the hard mattress and cheap pillows, which made sleep a challenge. Better soundproofing and bedding would improve this property immeasurably.

Thank you for your review. Just to point out that the A49 was closed due a serious RTA at Wooferton and the traffic was diverted along the B4361 for some considerable time. I am sorry you found the bed uncomfortable. This is the first complaint we have received regarding the hardness of the mattress or the cheapness of the pillows in 5 years (that are changed annually and have inner pillow cases that are washed each visit) and nearly 400 guests. However I assume this must be your own personal opinion to which you are entitled. We can only assume this was the reason you left early without letting us know.

Lovely Cottage

This is a lovely cottage about 6 miles south of Ludlow. The cottage is in a great location to explore. The bedroom and lounge is in one room with a fantastic view out the back. Propery feels very new and well equipped. Lovely kitchen and shower room downstairs. Spend some time sitting on the chairs looking out of the large window on the rolling countryside.

Lovely property in the a great location - Highly recommended

Stunning views over the hillside first thing in the morning will brighten anyone's day. The cottage is in a great location for travelling around Shropshire. Everything is pretty much on the doorstep. I can't recommend this property highly enough.

Relaxing time

Very clean and cozy cottage. A great place to stop by for a few days or for a longer stay. The equipment is complete and you won't be missing anything. Helpful hosts.
