Esta fabulosa dúplex frente al mar duerme 6 en 3 habitaciones y tiene una de las vistas más destacadas de Woolacombe. Su balcón con fachada de vidrio y acero inoxidable con orientación sur es el lugar ideal para sentarse y observar a los surfistas, observar delfines y aves marinas o simplemente relajarse y disfrutar de la trampa solar leyendo un libro, ¡simplemente perfecto!

Como parte del desarrollo de Sunnycliffe Court, se encuentra sobre Overcombe, el apartamento de 2 dormitorios debajo y al lado de Cliff House también aparece en nuestro sitio web. Para un grupo familiar grande, ¿por qué no reservar 2 o incluso 3 de estas súper casas de vacaciones juntas?

Sealoft tiene la envidiable posición de estar justo al otro lado de la carretera desde el camino de la costa que se abre paso hasta Grunta Beach, Morte Point y más allá. En la dirección opuesta, está a solo pasos de la zona cubierta de hierba sobre Combesgate Beach, una playa de National Trust y una de las favoritas de los surfistas locales. Unos minutos más es Barricane Beach, famosa por sus pequeñas conchas traídas en Gulf Stream y su encantador café de temporada y playa; con tazas de té, enormes rebanadas de pastel increíble y los famosos curry de Sri Lanka. Un poco más adelante, se llega al fino tramo de 3 millas de playa de arena conocida como "playa principal". Luego, arriba, en el nivel de vida, hay un aseo WC, cuarto de servicio con lavadora / secadora Miele y doble lavabo, cocina, dormitorio principal con vestidor y baño en suite y sala de estar / comedor con puerta a balcón.

La cocina compacta tiene 1. fregadero de 5 tazones, horno eléctrico individual incorporado, encimera de gas, congelador 50/50, lavaplatos de tamaño completo y pequeña barra de desayuno con capacidad para 2 a 3 (a presión) con refrigerador debajo y TV pequeña .

La moderna sala de estar tiene puerta a balcón, sofá en forma de L, TV, DVD, sonido envolvente, mesa de café, mesa de comedor que se extiende hasta el asiento 6 y la vista más inolvidable desde la ventana panorámica, donde 2 pequeños asientos mecedores ofrecen el lugar perfecto para sentarse. horas! En este nivel se encuentra el dormitorio principal que consta de un dormitorio de buen tamaño con cama super king, impresionantes vistas al frente sobre toda la bahía, vestidor con enormes armarios y un buen baño con plato de ducha doble, WC y lavabo.

La habitación doble tiene ventanas Velux, camas individuales de 2 x 3 pies y cómoda. Los techos inclinados limitan la altura pero están bien para los niños. Hay un televisor de 19 "aquí.

El otro dormitorio un poco más grande tiene una gran vista al frente sobre la bahía, una cama king-size, un pequeño armario empotrado y una cómoda doble. Los techos inclinados son mejores en esta habitación, por lo que está bien para adultos o niños mayores. Esta habitación tiene un televisor de 32 ".

Rooms with a view

We really enjoyed our stay at Sealoft and were blessed with excellent weather in September to enjoy the coastline and the wonderful views from the accommodation. Woolacombe/Mortehoe is an excellent base for getting out and about to North Devon's delights and we visited lots of lovely places during our week. It's about a 20 minute walk to the shop and restaurants. Great coffee at Meraki and beautiful lobster dinner at Beach House were highlights. A few maintenance issues came up during the week but they were responded to really quickly and did not detract from our stay.

A week in Mortehoe

We all enjoyed our week in Mortehoe, the beaches all around were the best, restaurants and pubs served great food, the accommodation was clean, bright and the views were fabulous, the sofa in the lounge seemed too big for the room though and meant there wasn't enough room for the table to be set up. We normally play cards in the evening, but didn't on this stay but thats the only drawback, overall we had a very lovely stay.

Perfect Coastal Getaway

Relaxing Easter break

A lovely apartment with outstanding sea views and plenty of space. A very light and airy apartment in a great location. Lots of utensils and equipment provided including things for our 1 year old and for older children. We will definitely recommend and return to this fabulous apartment. Thank you.

Brilliant, all round, brilliant

From location, to amenities, to the bottle of milk and fizz waiting for us in the fridge when we got there, our week at Sealoft was fantastic. We would more than happily come back and stay again in the future. The proximity not only to Woolacombe but also to the local coves was brilliant and the house had everything that we could need or want. Thanks very much and hopefully we'll be back soon

Can’t wait to go back

This was a last minute booking, but the team were fast, professional and great. The apartment was ready when we arrived. I had to call the emergency number to get the key lock code, but this was my fault as I had not checked my spam email. The lovely lady who answered the call was so nice and said if I had any problems to call straight back. The apartment was clean, spacious and everything and more than we expected. The view is to die for, the rooms were all large, kitchen so well equipped. Towels provided, linen all clean and even dishwashing liquid and some dishwasher tablets provided. Everything was within very easy reach, amazing fish and chip shop very close by. If you’re going to get some be prepared for a wait, but it was so worth it! The local pub staff were friendly and had a lovely outside space. We can not wait to book asap and visit again. Thank you so much for a brilliant stay.

Property fell below our expectations

The property doesn't seem to be cared for and is in need of maintenance and a thorough clean. The dining table is not suitable for six people and is very uncomfortable to sit at. On a positive note the beds are comfortable and the views are amazing.

Fabulous Location

Sealoft is part way up a hill on the second floor hence the views over Coombesgate and Woolacombe beaches along with Morte Point are simply stunning! We love the layout of this apartment including the ground floor wet room which was so good to have after a day at the beach with sandy children and wetsuits. We also love the large lazy boy sofa to curl up on and look at those amazing views after a busy day walking or on the beach! Well stocked and planned kitchen with double fridges ideal to have one as a drinks fridge. Plenty of space, would highly recommend and indeed we have already booked for our 4th visit!

The living space is too small, I.e. a fold out dining table doesn’t work for a family. The property as a whole is in need of some maintenance. The downstairs shower floods into the hallway (due to a poorly fitted shower screen). The balcony door lets in rain water. It’s just a bit tired. Location is excellent.

November break

This is our second stay at Sealoft last time was with family several years ago. This time on our own, it was as good if not better, well maintained, plenty of space and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Location perfect, many hours spent gazing at the (wild) sea, it was windy, but it is November!!The pub at the top of the hill in Mortehoe does lovely pub food, it's a bit steep but worth it. Lovely walks on the doorstep. I'd recommend for couples and families. Lovely!!

Sealoft July 2022

Sealoft apartment is really quite stunning with great views across Combesgate beach and Woolacombe making the location perfect for a family/hiking/surfing holiday with excellent private parking. The apartment sits between Mortehoe and Woolacombe for numerous places to eat/visit and also nearby Barricane beach cafe for their excellent Sri Lankan curries. There are regular buses to Ilfracombe and Barnstaple for days out without the car. The South West Coast Path is on your doorstep too. Sealoft is a spotlessly clean spacious apartment which has been decorated to a very high standard. All the bedrooms were extremely relaxing and comfortable. The owner has equipped the apartment with everything you would need for a perfect holiday including books and DVD's for all ages. We took advantage of the beach gear which was stored in the shed next to the property. The relaxing rocker chairs in the living room were also very comfortable and we enjoyed using the binoculars to observe the surfers and sunsets. Many thanks to Maddie and Sarah for a fabulous holiday in Woolacombe. We will return !!

Fabulous Location

Overlooking Coombesgate and Woolacombe beaches and surrounded by National Trust land the location couldn’t be more idyllic! The apartment is spacious and well appointed, thoughtfully designed for walkers, surfers and families with a separate downstairs wet room and space to leave all your boots, coats and outdoor stuff. We love the bay window seats and balcony just to people/surf watch and enjoy the fabulous sunsets. The main bedroom has a dressing room with lots of storage and fabulous views, upstairs is perfectly adequate for a family with two young children. The owners have provided lots of books, dvds, videos and games yet the apartment is uncluttered. Large corner sofa with two lazy boy seats is very comfortable and you can still see the fabulous views. Would highly recommend and indeed hope to return next year! Only possible issue is this is an apartment on a steep hill and there are lots of stairs in the apartment, only a problem if you have mobility issues but worth noting.

A view to long for

We found Sealoft very thing we hoped it would be, spacious, light, good decorative order, comfortable and well appointed, particularly the main bedroom dressing area. The second floor allowed my daughter to have her privacy when needed. The view just did not disappoint and was spectacular at sunsets. Caters for surfers needs whilst the less energetic can get a grand view of Combesgate Bay and Woolacombe from of the balcony.

Another fabulous holiday at Sealoft.

The position of this property gives some amazing views and you can spend hours just sitting on the balcony enjoying the sun and views. The property has the benefit of a level access to the entrance although getting the car back onto the road can be a bit tricky. Sealoft is very comfortable and has everything we needed.

Sealoft Easter 2022

This was the first time back at Sealoft after three years, and we loved every minute of it. The location is perfect, views are stunning and the accommodation itself is just great for me plus my 3 teenage bodyboarding kids. This, coupled with the first-class service provided by the brilliant Maddie & Sarah at Holiday Home Hunter once again, means that we'll be back in 2023 and for many more years to come, I am sure. Sealoft Mortehoe

The house had excellent facilities for a family of mixed ages. There was an excellent selection of books, games and videos for your entertainment. Travel cot, baby carrier and a small booster seat with tray for our ten month old grandson. The property has views to die for of Coombsgate beach and Woolacombe Beach. The beds in the two main rooms were very comfy . On the down side the beds in the twin room were very poor and the duvets were very thin and need upgrades. There was everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. A sofa that was so comfy I wanted to bring it home. The only other thing I would like to say is that the cleaning was not if a very high standard.

Woolacombe, a favourite destination.

Disappointed on arrival as property cold and rather dark and unwelcoming ( housekeeper helpful via phone). Double bedrooms have great views, clean and comfortable. Unreliable TV reception in the top double bedroom. Upstairs shower door in need of attention. Towels very coarse. Couldn't find a hair dryer. Living area- fantastic views but chairs in bay window probably more suited to younger age group. Kitchen real disappointment scruffy -units in need of updating. Crockery, cutlery and glasses very tired ! Microwave unusable as we were unable to locate turntable. However, Woolacombe is one of our favourite holiday destinations whatever the weather. We shall be back.
