'Afternoon Delighthouse' - Gran suite familiar frente al mar!

Aquí está su nuevo hogar lejos del hogar!

Sea Gypsy No. 309 no es una caja con cuatro paredes como se obtiene con una habitación de hotel. Este es un amplio condominio de vacaciones que llamamos "Por la tarde DeLighthouse". Está situado en el último piso del mar Gitano con una vista épica de la playa.

Por la tarde DeLighthouse está en una clase de suites familiares especiales en el Sea Gypsy. En 848 pies cuadrados, es 28 por ciento más grande que un condominio estándar en el tercer piso. Es más grande, más ancho y tiene enormes ventanas frente al mar.

También hay una cocina de gran tamaño, incluyendo un lavavajillas, horno, nevera, microondas - todo lo que necesita para el Anthony Bourdain en su partido.

Hay dos baños completos, un dormitorio privado y una gran sala de estar con una ventana de gran tamaño. Desde este punto de vista, se puede observar la migración de las ballenas grises que se desplazan por la costa. Los sellos de puerto bob sus pequeñas cabezas en la boca del río D. This was the WORST room we've ever booked! We couldn't even remain here due to the filth and ended up having to find a hotel room our first day there. The beds and bedding had smeared food/stains and clearly hadn't been cleaned for a very long time. One of the mattresses of the pull out beds had dirt/crumbs/possible bugs on it, which prompted us to leave immediately. The shower had mold in it, the closet was filled with dirty sand toys and sand everywhere. The condo smelled and we had to open windows due to the smell. The carpet was sticky. The murphey bed was broken and we weren't warned ahead of time even though it was a known issue (there was a laminated note on the bed about it). The bottom kitchen cabinet door was broken and fell and scratched me when I opened it. The counters were visibly dirty. The king bed frame wasn't even finished and the extra slats and box were just shoved partially under the bed. There was absolutely NO way we could let our children stay there, let alone sleep in those dirty beds! I emailed and texted and still have not received a response. We have stayed in other rooms at the Sea Gypsy and had a great experience, so this was very unexpected, disappointing, and stressful. I would NEVER recommend this room or host!

I love it at the sea gypsy , but this time something happened , that scared my son . We were locked out of our room for a long while and could not get in . We could not get ahold of any of the emergency people . He had a dad anxiety attack . Unfortunately it left a lasting impression on him . I feel like they should have offered some sort of compensation for us . However both nothing was offered. I am hoping that I am able to get him to stay again on of these years but I am honestly unsure . If there was some sort of compensation made then maybe . I feel like it was just brushed off as if it wasn't a big deal , that we almost had to sleep outside .

There was mold in the bathtub when we first got into the room so it could not have been “sanitized” between guests. The toaster did not work. The carpet was dirty. The bed in the front room was on a hide a bed frame- no real mattress. For a room that had been newly renovated, this was old and tired. The staff was very helpful, however.

Condo 309 - Afternoon Delight

Beautiful condo with an amazing view. We loved staying and would definitely return! There are a few things that should be attended to, such as the doors to bedrooms and bathroom could be adjusted to close and damage fixed. Curtain rods in the living room are rusted and curtains falling apart. Some mold in the bathtub and one major safety concern that we believe should be taken care of right away--the electrical panel is badly corroded and should be replaced. It could be a serious fire hazard. The office folks are amazing to work with, very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back for a visit to the Sea Gypsy.

Not as “Delightful” as other condos

We have stayed in multiple condos at the Sea Gypsy as it's one of our favorite family friendly places on the coast. However, this condo left us wanting. It boasts a stocked kitchen, but the utensils that were actually available were cheap and hard to use. There was sand on the floor upon initial entry, fruit flies living in one of the bathrooms, a dirty bath mat in the other bathroom and a leaking dishwasher. There also were no dishwasher pods or garbage bags to be found anywhere. The closet doors threatened to fall off every time they were opened and several other things appeared outdated and uncared for. While the extra space was nice for our party size, we would prefer to just be snug in a clean, well-maintained room. We will be back at the Sea Gypsy for sure, but will not be renting this condo again.

Unfortunately, we probably won't be returning to sea gypsy. While the customer service was stellar, the rooms were have stayed in have been quite in need of maintenance and did not instill a good ambiance. We thought If we took the very expensive one we would be more pleased but broken concrete, rusty curtain rods that don't slide, drape's with holes, cloudy windows, cracked microwave, shower in need of repair and worn furniture, just to name a few were not worth the almost 1k we paid for 2 nights. I guess the owners get their money and don't have to bother with upkeep so it works for them. No sour grapes, just an honest review.

There were some things like moldy milk in the glass table, and the curtains were rusted and coming off the top, there are no screens in the front windows which is pretty scary being on the 3rd floor, pool maintenance was non existent and the sauna was coming a part and had screws coming from the floor. It's been a few years since we stayed in 309 and I was disappointed at the lack of maintenance done in the room. One of the kitchen cabinet doors was missing a hinge so couldn't open and close it without issue. The bathroom sink was plugged so the water drained really really slow. The main door handle into the room was really loose when we got there so maintenance came and tightened it, but the locking mechanism was really sluggish, thinking it needed new batteries. One of the toilets did not flush well at all, was really slow trying to flush anything down. The curtain rods on the front window were so rusted, probly from windows being open, that was hard to open and close. It Just felt like it hasn't been maintained at all. Was pretty obvious by marks/dirt on the glass shelves in bathroom that it's not cleaned well. I don't say these things to be a complainer, but more to make you aware. The weather was beautiful, so we were thankful for that.

Still One of my Favorite Places to Stay

This is our 2nd time staying here. The location is great, the convenience to the beach is awesome, and the indoor pool is the perfect additional option. The room has plenty of space for everyone and spectacular views from the nearly full wall window. The room itself is showing more wear and tear from when we stayed there two years ago. One of the barstools was starting to fall over just sitting in it. The first bathroom when we turned it on the whole handle mechanism just came right off. I called the contact number and they said maintenance would come up but no one ever came. I was able to get it back on to shut off the water but it just came back off when used again. Otherwise things were great and we plan to stay again.

309 Afternoon Delight

We have been staying at the Sea Gypsy for several years now. We really enjoy it. We really like 309 Afternoon Delight. We were just wondering why the carpets had not been cleaned in a while. They are really dirty. Also the towel rack in the front bathroom was broken, no where to hang towels. Also your Murphy bed needs to be fixed. Every time you take it down or put it up the wood is going to fall off one of these times, someone might get hurt. Just a few minor things. Nothing major. We will be back we love your condos and we love the beach. Thank you!🙂🙂
