This was our second stay in Dolores' cottage, and we still thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of the house and the magnificent surrounding countryside.

Such a lovely little cottage!

The weather turned from wonderful and sunny to pouring rain, and the cottage was the perfect cozy place to go back to after adventures in the rain! Loved my stay!

This is a lovely cottage that was ideal for us, to explore some of the west of the Republic of Ireland. A very tidy cottage, that had all that we needed for our stay. We would certainly use again.

Tranquil retreat in beautiful area

My partner and i had an amazing stay with the stunning backdrop of the mountains to wake up to. We really found sense of peace there and Dolores was a fine host and a great help. Our wonderful stay here was food for the soul.

An absolute gem of a spot! We loved waking up to the mountains, sheep, and the beauty every morning. What a view! Dolores was so accommodating and wonderful to communicate with. We would highly recommend this spot - great of you want to relax, or be active - it’s lovely!

Fantastic stay in an amazing location

Arrived to my stay with 2 Cocker spaniels and we had an amazing few days. The house is delightful, a real getaway from it all and the scenery is absolutely stunning. Dolores was a brilliant host and extremely helpful, I will definitely be back to this piece of perfection.

Great location, large cottage

Amazing spot at the foot of the mountain. The open plan area is bigger than expected and the drying room came in useful in the wild November weather.

This cottage was absolutely perfect. The owners made us feel so welcome on our first trip overseas. The view is gorgeous anywhere you are in the property. Would definitely recommend this property for your next visit to Ireland

The perfect getaway

The cottage was fantastic and equipped with everything we needed for our stay, the scenery from the cottage was breathtaking and the perfect base for exploring all of connemara. I will deffo book again next time I’m in the area.

Homely cottage in idyllic setting

Very satisfying stay in every respect. Well maintained, well provided and homely cottage. The surrounding area is breathtakingly beautiful and the location is fairly central for exploring Connemara. The owner/manager is pleasant to deal with and very responsive to any queries. Will definitely go back there.

We got lucky our first two nights in Ireland

The countryside was amazing, and so different from most of Ireland. The cottage was so well-cared for, and clean, and had everything we needed, including cooking utensils and equipment. It was very quiet there, and close to places we wanted to see. The scenery was amazing. The hostess was wonderful.

Outstanding beauty

Pristine and comfortable cottage in a jaw dropping setting backed by mountains and fronted by Lough Inagh with an excellent restaurant at Inagh Lodge just 15 minutes walking. Lots of hiking and not crowded. Wonderful stay. Well equipped for fixing meals as well.
