Awesome getaway place

This property is really nice for getting away from everything. The lodging itself was extremely clean and had everything needed for a relaxing stay. There was a constant breeze blowing through when on the porch. We will definitely be back. One of nicer places I've ever stayed with VBRO.

Nosy Neighbors

We believed this place would be very private given the location and description. Instead, the neighbor walked his dog within 5 feet of our sitting on the front porch two different times during our 36 hour stay. Other than that, which is a huge deal to me and my wife, the place was clean, well-stocked, and scenic.

Super Cute Loft!

We had such a nice, relaxing stay at the loft. Everything was super clean and the beds were comfortable! We even spotted a baby and mama deer on a walk on the property. Thank you so much! James and Chandra

Great family bonding spot!

We stayed there with another family and truly enjoyed all The Loft has to offer. We spent a lot of time just hanging out and relaxing. The kids had a blast too! We have friends already asking where we were as they loved the photos I posted on my social media. 😬

Perfect place for a family getaway!!!

The place was set back inside a secure ranch, surrounded by beautiful trees and scenery, and very private. Often times we never meet the owners, but this time we met or talked on the phone. The owners were very responsive, a pleasure to talk to, and very supportive. The "house" was absolutely gorgeous and was perfect for our family to share time together for our daughter's graduation. It had everything we needed and more. The beds in the Loft were very comfortable. It was evident a lot of work was put into this place, and the woodwork was beautiful. Thank you for sharing your home!

Beautiful place. Would not return.

Beautiful place. Would not go back. Not a good place to go if you have a boat and need room to turn around. I walked outside in the morning to set up breakfast outside for the kids and overheard the owner raising her voice to my husband about ruts in the grass. I understand she was upset, but she could have chosen to be more professional/polite about the situation. She also showed up right at 10am on the day we were leaving. I would not consider this place private.

The place was just beautiful....was a great place for my sisters and I to spend together!

The Loft it’s self was just outstanding!!! My family and I loved it! If you smoke this is definitely not the place for you!!! PROHIBITED 🚭 ...24 hr cameras ....and their business is on the other side of the loft and they are there everyday!!!! So no sleeping in ...which we had stayed up till 4 AM waiting for family to arrive from traveling....2 from Hawaii and 2 from Michigan...and couldn’t not sleep that day due to saws and banging from the owners business on the other side of wall!! Overall the place was magnificent....wish we could have spent more time with family!! Went by way too fast!

Say YES to the Dress and YES to The Loft!

It was PERFECT!! We hosted a “Say YES to the Dress” bridesmaids fitting party - there were 8 of us- and we had the best time ever!! Mark & Trica even designed my daughter a beautiful guest book - the woodwork and attention to detail at The Loft was well thought out and beautiful. I would highly recommend this property and these hosts! We will be returning for a girls weekend! We LOVED it!!

Lovely country retreat

What a delightful property! Upscale design, unique family loft bedroom with built-in bunk beds. Beautiful woodwork in kitchen, handcrafted by the owners. Amazing wooded acres offer a variety of recreational activities like a fire pit, hammock, games, and walking trails, not to mention close proximity to the lake. What a gem!

Nice, relaxing, and spacious!

Very nice and relaxing. Working out of town for a couple weeks and it was really nice to relax in a home away from home than to go back to a cramped hotel room. The overhead rainfall showerheads, kitchen and decor were all nice touches that made it feel like home. I would have like a double or queen bed but the oversized twins were still big enough for a 6 foot 1- 235 lb male lol. We have quite a bit of work in the area so we will definitely return.

Cute, cozy place! Great space for a sisters weekend.

The kitchen was great, especially for a group who prefers to cook vs eating out. Bedroom is roomy, and provides small privacy curtains. Few things we noticed.. only one shower at a time, or you get cold water. Recommend bringing slippers/ house socks... blue floor turned the bottom of our feet blue/dirty (came right off in shower though). It is connected to their shop, noises from shop were noticeable when they were using equipment. People came and went to the shop, but didn’t feel like a privacy issue or bothered us. When heater turned on, it woke some people up during the night with the noise. Despite the few things, we would definitely return.

Boundless charm!!

From Coffee on the porch to bunk beds that scream for you to say “Goodnight John Boy”, all was wonderful! The pictures do not do justice. The detail and obvious love and work put in to the property are amazing. We had a fabulous stay.

Loved everything!

This is a beautiful space for a crafting weekend! The owners built it on their own and spared no detail! Everything was beautiful and we loved the extra design touches. They were wonderful to work with and my group crafted all day and all night! A few notes---wifi was fabulous, cell reception wasn't as great inside of the house. However, that's not a complaint--it was actually wonderful to not have service! (Those one Verizon did get reception inside, other just went out on the porch as needed). We made suggestions to the owners that better lighting and extra power strips in the craft area would make it absolutely perfect. We will definitely come back here for our annual crafting weekend! I absolutely can't wait to come back! Get a group of crafters together and enjoy every moment!

Relaxed family vacation

We loved the place. It was so nice and we really enjoyed the firepit, and starting gazing. Absolutely beautiful!

We bought the property (45+ acres) in 2010 and renovated the house that was on it for my parents. We had so such fun that we decided to build a workshop which we then made into the 2 story facility you see here. We're sort of fixer-uppers on overdrive. The workshop is a fully functioning working saw-mill, business. We did everything you see here ourselves - meaning my dear husband and dad did all of the work, from the shiplap wall to the tile in the showers. Phew, glad it's done.

We just love being in the city but secluded from the rest of the world. It is QUIET and DARK at night.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Lots of outdoor areas and inside is as unique as you will find in this area. Great location - close to major cities, but off the beaten path, quiet and serene. Great for families - corn hole, large jenga provided. Walking/hiking trails. lots of wildlife.
