The apartment is very spacious, it is in a renovated wing in my family home. It has an independent entrance. The rooms are very large, from the hall you enter the terrace where you can eat and sunbathe with a wonderful view of the lake. The apartment has a separate and equipped kitchen. The large bedrooms look towards the internal gardens of the house and are very quiet. In front, across the road, there is a public garden from which you can go down to the lake to swim.
The house is close to restaurants, an excellent pastry shop and ice cream shop, the supermarket and the ferry to Monteisola.

We loved our stay in Sale Marasino! The children, especially, did not want to leave after 4 nights! The home is directly on the main road that goes around the lake, so it is very convenient, with parking just across the street, as well as a nice bakery, a grocery store, and a few cafes within in a couple of minutes walk. It is a very local town, without the hoards of tourists you see elsewhere, which we liked. The market was a wonderful surprise (I think it was Wednesday morning), and we stocked up on everything we needed to eat at home. If you are prepared for the fact that the road is noisy (it is unavoidable if you stay right on the lake), this home is really wonderful. Francesca was so friendly and kind, and her grandchildren were lovely playmates for our children, sharing all of their toys and games with us. The home is old, charming, clean and comfortable. We slept very well as the rooms are in the back and stay dark and quiet. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you Francesca!

Fantastisk udsigt over Iseo søen

Vi havde et rigtigt dejligt ophold i lejligheden. Den er stor og rummelig, og dejlig kølig trods varmen ude. Den er meget autentisk italiensk med en skøn terrasse. Køkkenet er lidt sparsomt udstyret. Beliggenheden er fantastisk, helt ned til søen. Kommunikationen med Francesca var super, og hun var behjælpelig med alt, vi havde brug for.

The best place to stay in Northern Italy!

This was an amazing week. Francesca met us at the house, communicated with us in the weeks and days before our arrival, so everything was so easy. The house is wonderful, with a large terrace overlooking Lake Iseo with large table and many chairs. Sale Marasino is the perfect location to go anywhere in the region - in 6 days we did Verona, Lake Garda, Brescia, Iseo, Edona - all via car, bus and local trains. All with the added help of Francesca! Every time I had a question, within an hour she responded. I hope SO much we can return to her beautiful house and garden. Thank you Francesca!

Great place

We stayed two weeks and had a great time. We could have our boat in front of the apartment for most of the time. The place stayed cool, even though it was hot outside (36C). Breakfast on the terrace was a daily joy. Simple but spacious apartment with great beds, we can recommend it.

Schöne Ferienwohnung an einem herrlichen See

Die Wohnung liegt im ersten Stock eines Hauses an der Straße, mit zwei Schlafzimmern, einem großen Bad, einer kleinen Küche, einem großen Wohnzimmer und einer riesigen Terasse mit Blick auf den See. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, und wenn doch etwas fehlt, kann man es bestimmt von der sehr netten Vermieterin Francesca leihen, die mit ihrer Familie im selben Haus lebt. Die Wohnung ist schön, hat viel Platz und bequeme Betten und bleibt trotz hoher Außentemperaturen richtig schön kühl. Absolut begeistert waren wir vom Lago d'Iseo und der ganzen Gegend. Der See ist einfach wunderschön. Die Monte Isola hat es uns besonders angetan, eine autofreie Insel inmitten des Sees. Von Sale Marasino aus fährt alle 20 Minuten die Fähre nach Carzano auf der Monte Isola und von da erreicht man in 5 Minuten eine schöne Badestelle. Die Fähre fährt die ganze Nacht, man kann also jederzeit auf die Insel und wieder zurück. Nächstes Mal würden wir vielleicht sogar eine Unterkunft auf der Insel mieten. Sale Marasino selbst ist ein kleiner, sehr netter Ort, in dem wir uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt haben. Hier ist es gar nicht touristisch. Der einzige Nachteil an Francescas Ferienwohnung ist, dass sie direkt an der Straße liegt, und diese Straße sehr befahren ist, auch bis spät in die Nacht. So richtig idyllisch ist damit das auf der Terasse sitzen eigentlich nie, weshalb wir tagsüber auch immer unterwegs waren und uns auch erstmal daran gewöhnen mussten, dass auch abends immer wieder Autos, Mopeds und sogar LKWs vorbei fahren. Im Schlafzimmer stört das gar nicht, da hört man von der Straße kaum etwas. Aber auf der Terasse ist es eben doch sehr laut. Obwohl Francesca eine sehr nette Vermieterin ist, die Wohnung uns richtig gut gefallen hat und wir unbedingt noch mal zum Lago d'Iseo und sogar nach Sale Marasino fahren möchten, würden wir wahrscheinlich nächstes Mal eine andere Unterkunft wählen - aber wirklich ausschließlich wegen des Straßenlärms. Wir sind Berliner und wünschen uns im Urlaub eine Pause von Stadtgeräuschen. Andere Leute stört das vermutlich viel weniger und in jeder anderen Hinsicht können wir diese Unterkunft und Gegend aus vollstem Herzen empfehlen!

Lovely stay on Lake Iseo

Francesca was a wonderful hostess and the apartment was perfect for our needs (there were 2 adults and 4 kids). Simple, clean, a beautiful view of the lake, (exactly what you see in the picture), and in a great location to see the area. Francesca helpfully supplied linens and towels, there is a beautiful deck with table/chairs/umbrella, and she pointed us to whatever we needed - bank, grocery, bakery, pizza. We were there specifically to see Christo's 'Piers' installation and Francesca helped us avoid the crowds and make our way to Monte Isola by ferry instead of waiting in line for 3 hours! That small piece of advice was key to making our visit a success. Francesca's daughter, son-in-law, son were all equally warm and friendly. Lake Iseo is beautiful and Francesca's apartment was a great place to stay.

Excellent!

We stayed in the apartment over Easter 2016 and really enjoyed it. The house is very typical and has nice gardens. The apartment itself is quite spacious and was very clean. We found everything we needed. Needless to say that we used the huge terrace with its magnificent view over the lake for having breakfast, hanging out in the sun and having some sundowners. A supermarket, bakery and the ferry to the island are in walking distance. Last but not least: Francesca was a charming host and we can only recommend staying with her. Best regards, Daniel & friends

Casa Spaziosa, vista sul lago spettacolare!

Siamo stati in 5 in questa casa a inizio dicembre e devo dire che ci siamo trovati molto bene. La casa è spaziosa, con due camere grandi camere da letto, cucina, salotto con divano letto e terrazza che offre una vista bellissima proprio sul lago d'Iseo. Un grosso supermarket è a un quarto d'ora di strada in macchina. Il riscaldamento d'inverno funziona bene, non abbiamo sofferto il freddo di inizio dicembre, in 4 giorni abbiamo speso circa una sessantina di euro. La Signora Francesca è stata super disponibile e gentile, pronta ad accontentare ove possibile ogni vostra richiesta. La consiglio sia alle famiglie che a un gruppo di ragazzi per un week end tranquillo dove potersi rilassare senza pensieri. Abbiamo intenzione di tornare nei mesi estivi per godere un poco di più di quella splendida terrazza. Luca

Heerlijke plek aan het meer

Wij hebben twee heerlijke weken vakantie gevierd in dit grote en schone appartement. In de ochtend heerlijk ontbijten op het grote dakterras en in de avond hier sterren kijken. Het huis is diep en heeft dikke muren, blijft daardoor koel op hete dagen, de slaapkamers liggen aan de koele achterzijde. Het dorpje is gezellig klein, weinig toerisme, maar een bakker, supermarktje etc zijn aanwezig. Om de 20 minuten een pontje naar hert meereiland tegenover het appartement. Dit is een leuke dagtocht, je kunt dan klimmen naar het kerkje op de top. Venetie is ca 2 uur rijden (enkele reis), ook een leuke dagtocht. Wij waren met 5 personen, dat is prima. Er is een tweepersoons bed en twee eenpersoons, het derde bed was een uitklapbed. Voor ons prima, maar 8 personen lijkt ons wat veel. Gastvrouw is erg vriendelijk en gastvrij en helpt graag met tips voor tochtjes of restaurants. Gastvrouw spreekt bovendien prima Engels, erg prettig.

Super FeWo mit tollem Ausblick!

Wirklich tolle Ferienwohnung, alle Zimmer recht groß und sehr schön gestaltet. Riesige Terrasse mit Blick über den ganzen See. Schwimmen gehen gleich gegenüber der Straße. Vermieterin war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Waren dort als vier Freunde, allerdings mehr geeignet für Familien mit 2 Kindern. Kommen gerne wieder!

An Excellent Holiday! A perfect location!

Lake Iseo, with Monte Isola rising from the centre (the largest island in the middle of a lake in Europe), is very beautiful. As the photo shows, the view from the balcony is quite stunning. The balcony is pretty much south facing, so it becomes an extension of the living area. We always ate breakfast here, and watched the sun light up the island across the water. A great start to any day. Just across the road there was a place to access the lake, and my son and daughter were delighted to swim as often as they liked. There was easy (free)parking a short walk from the apartment, with shops and a good bakery. The ferry terminal was close by and this gave good access to the island. My husband cycled in the mountains, and we walked the interesting paths on the island and in the 'Zone'. The apartment was a deliciously cool place to hide on a hot day, and a great place to retreat to after being out and about. But the best thing about this vacation home is that it is at the side of a beautiful old family home, and the family are so welcoming and generous at sharing their local knowledge, that we instantly felt at home. I would also thoroughly recommend purchasing some of the family's wine from their vineyard. It was delicious. We loved being in this special place so much that we stayed a second week, and hope to return in the future.

"We stayed in this appart...

"We stayed in this appartment from 27th of april until the 5th of may. The appartment was good, very large, clean and with a beautifull balcony. Everything was as aspected, except the WiFi internet didn''t quite work the first few days. But that problem was quickly solved by the owner. We liked our stay in Sale very much and we definitely consider coming back."

"L''appartamento è spazio...

"L''appartamento è spazioso, pulito e ben attrezzato (anche se non nuovo). La posizione fronte lago permette di godere di una bella vista. La strada che divide l''appartamento dal lago è un po'' trafficata quindi bisogna tener conto che sul terrazzo si sentono le auto e le moto passare. C''è poca passeggiata lungo-lago ma a pochi metri è possibile prendere il traghetto che porta a Monte Isola, dove invece è possibile circumnavigare l''isola a piedi con un panorama bellissimo.La proprietaria è gentile e disponibile."

"Grand appartement dans une très belle maison avec un très bon accueil, très chaleureux. La circulation routière apporte un niveau de bruit qui peut être parfois gênant. Pas vraiment de plage mais une proximité avec le centre et le départ des bateaux vers Montisola. Très bon séjour"
