Villa Elia is a modern accommodation for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. It is into an idyllic landscape, close to nature, with a breath-taking view of the enchanting mountain and the beautiful lake, surrounded by trees carrying fruit and olives, in a private estate of 30 acres.

Great mountain getaway

This is a great place for a small family to spend a few days in the mountains of Crete. It’s very clean, modern and in good repair. The pool is perfect for cooling off and hanging out. It’s really close to good food and interesting things to do (Spili, Mixorrouma & beaches).

Perfect 'get away from it all' stay

We loved our time in Crete in this lovely villa. Beautiful views and peaceful location. It was so nice not to be overlooked at all and the only sounds to be those of the goats and local farm traffic. We found the accommodation very comfortable. The pool is small and perfect for cooling off. When we needed a sun umbrella, Nikos was really good at ensuring we had one within 48 hours. Absolutely perfect for us. Highly recommended.

Location was beautiful however there were issues during our stay. Whilst being in amongst wildlife in a rural setting is amazing, waking up every morning to find Peacock excrement all over the door steps and around the pool was not what I expected. The pool itself was shallow, falling apart and always cold despite 32 degree air temps every day. We couldn't use it. Owners were friendly and the kids enjoyed the nearby chickens and horses, but otherwise our stay was a big disappointment.

Freistehendes Haus mit toller Aussicht

Es ist sehr ruhig dort, man hat keine unmittelbaren Nachbarn und ist für sich . Das nächste Haus des Vermieters ist ca. 100 m im Norden und daher auf der Suedterasse nicht wahrnehmbar. Man ist in ca. 30 Minuten mit dem Fahrzeug an verschiedenen Stränden. In der Nähe gibt es ein sehr gutes kleines Familiengeführtes Restaurant. Etwas störend waren die Pfauen, die einmal die Südseite besuchten und Hinterlassenschaften zurück liesen. Im Bad gab es ein paar Kinderkrankheiten, der WC-Deckel hält nur durch einen angebrachten Klettverschluss und die Dusche ist locker in der Wand. Der Vermieter versorgte uns zum Start mit ein paar Lebensmitteln und einer Flasche Wein. Mit Ausnahme der Terasse nach dem Besuch war das Haus sauber. In Summe eine gute Erfahrung.

Idylle pur

Ein tolles Objekt, für alle, die die Einsamkeit lieben. Ein Auto ist unbedingt erforderlich. Da es doch ein wenig in den Bergen liegt, darf einem immer wieder einmal etwas Wind nichts ausmachen, Wir waren im Oktober, kann natürlich zu einer anderen Jahreszeit ganz anders sein.

Location simple au calme

Propriétaire sympathique serviable et disponible. Un peu de miel, lait pain...à notre arrivée . Les crétois savent recevoir!! Location au calme très éloignée il faut absolument un véhicule puisque la mer est à 30 minutes. Logement propre à notre arrivée, climatisation agréable même si très bruyante. Piscine un petit petite pour 4. Connection wifi moyenne parfois plus d'internet, embêtant surtout avec des ados. Lit double confortable par contre le lit grince cela est très désagréable. Manque quelques ustensiles dans la cuisine ainsi qu'un micro onde. En conclusion La location est juste correct mais beaucoup trop cher pour le niveau de prestation.

Peaceful, relaxing, serene

We, 2 adults and 2 children spent a week at Vila Elia in August and had a nice time. We appreciated the solitude and beautiful view from the terrace. The vila was nicely furnished and comfortable. It was nice to be able to cool off in the pool. Our daughters befriended the cats :-) Our host Nikos was very helpful and helped us with recommendations. I also want to say a big thank you to Nikos & his father who helped us when our car rental broke down on the day we were to leave Lampini. This was really appreciated. We can recommend this Vila, especially for those looking for peace, quite and a comfortable stay.

Calme et tranquillité

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison en pleine campagne, loin de l'agitation et du bruit des stations balnéaires (mais à 30 minutes en voiture des plages du nord comme du sud). Pour profiter d'un environnement calme, bercé par le chant des cigales, les moutons, canards, et autres animaux, c'est idéal. La villa est bien agencée et dispose d'un jardin avec piscine, à l'arrière, pour se détendre en toute tranquillité et à l'abri des regards. Le propriétaire est très à l'écoute et disponible en cas de besoin. Petit plus pour les amoureux d'équitation, possibilité de monter le cheval. En résumé, une très bonne expérience, à recommander !

Summer 2021 in crete

Nikos is a wonderful host. He waited for us to arrive and showed us around. The surroundings are beautiful, really quiet and great views. Nice pool in the garden and even a playground. Two large bedrooms. kitchen and one bathroom, everything you need out in nature. Surrounded by the frogs in the artificial lake and even a friendly cat and horse. loved it!

I had a great stay with my friends at villa Elia..

The place is so peaceful and relaxing ..full of green and nature with a beautiful lake in front of it..big private area that we had the access to discover it!! My friends also did a horse riding.. i really recommend it without second thought!!

Amazing place for holidays

I had a great stay at Villa Elia..the place is incredible , full of green and nature .. the host was very friendly and willing to help us to organise our program..close to villa (2km away) you can find everything that you need (supermarket,coffee bar,bank atm, restaurant).. Mr Nikos also provide a horse for riding lovers.. thank you very much Nikos for everything, i hope to come back soon

Wunderschönes Haus auf dem Lande

Villa Elia (Baujahr 2020, daher noch nicht auf Google Maps zu sehen) liegt wunderbar abgelegen, fast uneinsehbar, etwas außerhalb von Lampini. Das Haus ist von der Straße nicht zu sehen; es liegt hinter einer kleinen Kuppe und wird über 100 m Holperweg erreicht. Der nächste Bäcker ist ca. 1,5 km enfernt. Kleinere Supermärkte sind in Spili (3 km enfernt). Für größere Einkäufe sollte man nach Rhethymno (25 km, 30 Minuten Fahrzeit) fahren. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Es fehlt vielleicht die eine oder andere Kleinigkeit, die Griechen nicht für unbedingt erforderlich halten. Es gibt einen großen Kühlschrank mit großzügiger Tiefkühlmöglichkeit, Herd mit Ceranfeld, Klimagerät und draußen neben dem vielgenutzten Pool einen großen Grill. Wer den touristischen Trubel in der nahen Nachbarschaft nicht mag, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Lediglich Nikos Vater kommt abends kurz vorbei und kümmert sich um den Pool und das Grün. Nikos ist ein phantastischer Vermieter. Ist über WhatsApp schon vor der Anreise sehr gut zu erreichen. Während des Aufenthalts hält er regelmäßig Kontakt, um nach der Zufriedenheit zu fragen. Man muss sich allerdings auf Englisch verständigen können. Alles in allem hatten wir einen wunderbaren Urlaub. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen.
