Great house for two people. One bedroom, clean and roomy, comfortable bed. Kitchen is small but well equipped for cooking. Lots of room to live in the space. Nicely decorated. We enjoyed our four week stay a great deal. Roberta was responsive when we needed her. Great location on the Isthmus, lots of walkable restaurants and shops.

This is an amazing property. The neighborhood is safe and close to so many things like bike paths, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and grocery stores. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for our month long stay. Our host was very accommodating and available if needed. We really enjoyed our time in Madison visiting family.

Great option for a longer term stay

Small, quaint and comfortable, nicely distanced from downtown but still very accessible. I stayed here for 5 weeks while doing a clinical rotation at UW Health and it was an excellent option. Quiet, with off street parking, onsite laundry and a well stocked kitchen. Also there were cute rabbits in the yard. The host was responsive. I'd definitely recommend this place.

So quiet

Very clean and well stocked. Bed is comfy and I am picky, I could cook anything in the kitchen, it was very well furnished. Lots of windows that feel private as you face away from the street. The neighborhood is friendly with a steam near by, perfect for walks and as a single woman I always felt safe . Most outstanding was the quiet. So peaceful. Host was very accessible and responsive. I will definitely be back! Thank you Roberta!safe.

Who ever stays in this accommodation, has to realise, the noise levels that emanates from the wafer thin ceilings of the above appartment. The kitchen needs updating, and the bathroom grizzly, with smelly towels....generally damp feel...

Peaceful stay on Main

Excellent stay! Clean and roomy house with loads of privacy. There was an Isthmus power outage while we stayed and Roberta was amazingly available to help problem solve the brief outages. Plenty of off street parking, too. Very quiet and easily accessible neighborhood. Would definitely recommend this rental! Will definitely stay here again.

A great hideaway in Madison

Nicely appointed, cozy and well situated in a quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was extremely well supplied. Only regrets was that we didn’t get to use the outdoor area, but that was due to some lousy weather. The enclosed porch provided a nice substitute.

Lovely spot to visit Madison

We visit Madison often, but found ourselves in need of a place to stay as the relatives have down sized. We really enjoyed staying in this apartment. Easy to find; great off street parking; clean; and the owners even gave us a coffee grinder when asked! We would love to stay here again when we find our selves in Madison.

Very nice, clean, comfy apartment and a convenient location!

We enjoyed our stay very much! Very comfortable and clean. Off-street parking was good - convenient to entrance. Outside lighting was good. Location was great for us between downtown and Ulbrich Botanical Gardens. We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful rental.

This place was wonderful. It was absolutely spotless, tastefully decorated and wonderfully located to all that I needed. So much better than a single hotel room, I had the whole house. Really liked having the kitchen to cook meals instead of eating all meals out. Bed was awesome and so comfortable it was really hard to get up each morning. Felt very safe in this area. Only glitch was spotty tv service but really no big deal. Would definitely stay here again.

I have been retired from full-time employment since 2010. But I now work one day a week at a local law firm specializing in estate planning. I enjoy biking during the summer months and like to snow shoe, cross county ski and ice skate in the winter months. We recently purchased a cabin that is also available for rental thru VRBO. It is located on Amber Lake in the Town of Minocqua, Wisconsin.

The property has been in my family since 1965. I was fortunate to be able to purchase it in 1987. It is an ideal location in that it is in the heart of Madison and the perfect location to enjoy all that the city has to offer.

The front porch swing is a great place to enjoy a great cup of java or a glass of wine . . . while livin' la vida loca in the Heart of the Isthmus.
