A charming Victorian mid-terrace cottage situated in the unspoilt coastal village of Overstrand. Tide Cottage is a beautifully curated romantic hideaway ideal for a couple, or two, seeking relaxation and adventures on the coast. Beautifully designed throughout, Tide Cottage is located a mere two-minute walk to the stunning sandy beach.

Designed using a white and muted colour palette throughout with complimenting opulent modern fixtures and fittings, the ground floor features a sophisticated panelled sitting room, with wood burning stove and large window. The elegant dining room offers an inviting table with ample seating for four guests, and a further wood burning stove. Views of the garden are enjoyed through the french doors as guests gather together together to dine. A well-equipped galley kitchen boasts a range cooker amongst other modern appliances. A utility room, WC and shower room are also located on this floor.

Two lovely bedrooms are housed on the first floor. The master bedroom hosts a modern king-size four poster bed, and is served by a magnificent en-suite bathroom providing roll top bath and walk-in shower. Bedroom two hosts a sumptuous double bed and complementing soft furnishings.

Outside, the property benefits from a good-sized garden to the rear. Featuring two seating areas, this is the perfect place for dining al fresco in the summer months. On-street parking is available to the front of the property.

Situated a short stroll from all the amenities the charming village of Overstrand has to offer, and within easy reach of many beaches and attractions along the Norfolk coast, Tide Cottage is a truly fabulous hideaway.

A few coffee pods are provided to get you started. Please bring any additional pods for the Nespresso coffee machine if you require them.

Super cottage

We had a very comfortable three nights at Tide cottage. The house is very tastefully decorated and everything we needed was available. The welcome basket and items were very gratefully received and a lovely touch. A few observations though. Firstly, with two couples visiting, one bedroom is en-suite whilst the other is not. The communal loo and shower is down stairs. For some, this would be an issue. Secondly, seating in the sitting room is very limited. Finally, parking along the street could become a bit of an issue, particularly in high season. Other than these things, the place is great. Location is fantastic and the house is very comfortable.

Lovely cosy clean cottage for weekend close to sea

We stayed for a weekend with our 2 dogs. Easy to find and park. Cottage is decorated beautifully and it is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a long walk to Mundesley along the beach and the pub in the village was a nice friendly place with nice simple food. Lovely log burner and nice and toasty warm in the cottage. Would recommend and would stay again. Thanks so much.

I don’t think this property was up to the standard that was shown on the web. We could not use the main shower to no cold water getting through we did report this to the owner the plumber came out at 8.30 Sunday morning but at to order a part so we only had the very small shower on the ground floor. Thursday morning we woke up to no electrics due to water getting in the en-suite ceiling and blew one of the spot lights The owner next door told us he had mentioned he was getting water into his property due to the gutters not being cleared. Also the smoke detectors were low so going off all night and so high up we could not reach to change the batteries I have let team know at hideaways I was not happy and feel we should be due some monies back from the owner for all the trouble we had, as these problems may not have happened with a little more maintenance before hand.
