Esta encantadora casa, Tybee Escape, lo tiene todo. Mucho espacio, toneladas de espacios al aire libre y camas para dormir 18 personas. Además, también hay un sofá cama Queen.
La planta baja es un apartamento independiente de 2 dormitorios y 1 baño con sala de estar de concepto abierto y una pequeña cocina y terraza. Tiene un hueco de escalera interno desde el recibidor que lo conecta con el espacio habitable del segundo piso con una gran sala de estar, comedor y cocina muy grande. La sala de lavandería, dormitorio principal, baño en suite y medio baño y dos porches seleccionados se encuentran en este piso. El tercer piso tiene dos habitaciones enormes, dos cuartos de baño y otra área de estudio.
El patio está totalmente cercado con una parrilla de gas y un "pozo de asado de ostras"

Big and Beautiful place

We had a good stay at this place, with tons of room available for 4-5 families to stay confortably. Walking distance to the beach and close to market and gas stations.

Christmas Family Vacation

Loved the space--plenty of room for multiple families. Location was great---so very close to restaurants and activities--we could walk everywhere. Not beachfront, but we still heard the ocean and were able to glimpse from the upstairs porch. Lots of hot water--but I was glad we brought our own, more substantial towels. Host was great--she called multiple times to ensure our stay was going well.

Refreshing stay at Tybee

This property is a great place to stay with a large group. Everyone had room to engage or to disengage with others. The furniture is comfortable and updated. The location is very convenient to beach access. Communication with the owner was very prompt. This was actually a vacation that we were able to go on and come back refreshed.

The layout and space of the house was ample and perfect for our group of 8. The options for indoor and outdoor seating were a plus and gathering places for conversation and meals were in plenty supply. The response of the property owner to questions and needs was mostly timely and good. The cleanliness and some aspects of the home were lacking - hair in the tub drain and on the bathroom floor, floors not swept well, dust-filled wine glasses, a very slow draining sink in one 3rd floor bath, and a broken handle on the kitchen refrigerator which was reported but not fixed during our 3-day stay. Of most concern was the non-functioning keypad on the front door, including a missing metal bracket surrounding the deadbolt. The owner was very responsive and dropped off a front door key for our use, but the whole lock apparatus is insufficient and needs replacing. The house is "fine" and very functional but would benefit from some TLC in some key areas.

1st timers

It was our first time on Tybee and we enjoyed it very much. We were supposed to be a group of 14 but had some family back out last minute so there were 10 adults and 1 18 month old. The house was plenty big for all of us. The family that owns the house were dealing with some personal issues but kept in regular contact with us. Having a screened in porch was very nice for morning coffee and evening cocktails. The walk to the beach is a little more than a block, but the sunrise should not be missed! If we go as a large group, we would stay here again. One suggestion would be to have instructions how the cable works. The downstairs tv was fine but we couldn’t get it to work on the main floor. A second would be to replace the faucets on the tub or maybe use CLR as only half the water comes out the shower head the rest is wasted out the faucet and down the drain. Thank you for letting us stay and we hope all is well with the family!

Perfect home in a perfect location

This home is generous in all ways-from the size of the rooms, the piles of bath towels, to the amount of seating, plates, cups, silverware etc. The beds are very comfortable and the mix of kings, queens and trundle made decisions about who would sleep where easy for this extended family.

Great location, clean and comfortable

The property is a great location and perfect for the 10 of us who stayed there. The place is getting to be a little run down and could use a little face lift. We were informed by the property owner about air conditioner problems which there addresses by putting in window air conditioners which worked just fine. We did have an alarm go off and had to call the property owner who answered right away and was able to help us solver the problem (had something to do with the broken air conditioner, which they are in the process of fixing). Overall a nice location and comfortable house.

Misrepresented

While this home is misrepresented as “new”, it has not been updated in years and could use a good scrubbing. A year prior to our visit, a reviewer was told that updates were coming. It seems those were never done. We were also told by the owner that the house was being shut down in January of 2022 for 4 weeks for some upgrades. We checked up on this and it doesn’t look like the owner blocked a single week for the upgrades/cleaning that she told us was happening. Though I don’t want to leave bad reviews, I feel it’s my responsibility to point this out. I wish someone would have left these reviews before me so we wouldn’t have booked this place. The house is in a nice location and really would be a good set up. The low review is based on the cleanliness and upkeep of the house. Linens were clearly not washed, dirt/grime/dust was everywhere. The cloth furniture smelled of animals. We had beautiful weather for our stay. If we had been forced indoors, it would have been uncomfortable.

Youth group - 15 kids, 4 adults

Generally, the house was good. But, if a house sleeps 20 people, it would be helpful to have 2 dishwashers, rather than just one. The house was described as having 4 twin beds on the 3rd floor but there were only 2. Also, several of the beds had air mattresses rather than regular mattresses. When communicating with the property owner, she apologized and did send someone with a queen/full sized air mattress so we could have enough beds for everyone (that person had to drive in from an hour and a half away — I think it would be helpful to have a caretaker closer by. I think the house would have been more comfortable with fewer people. When we arrived, the first floor bathroom sink hot water handle was off - we reported this but it was never fixed. Also, the kitchen pots/pans/cooking utensils were okay but not great — we managed but definitely have stayed in homes with better and when cooking for a crowd, it would have been easier with more/better in kitchen (for example, the large frying pan looks like it belongs in the garbage - the nonstick is really coming off). The home is described as having a kitchenette on the first floor - it has a sink and refrigerator but totally empty cabinets. It was nice to have a second refrigerator though. Overall, I’d consider it again but with far fewer people and bringing our own kitchen pans/pans.

Fantastic house, location, and host

House was absolutely perfect for a vacation. Very clean, spacious, and the location can’t get any better on tybee. Extremely impressed with host as well. Super responsive to any and all questions. There was a slight issue with one of the floors A/C units and the host had someone there and the problem was fixed within 30 min. Would recommend this property to everyone!

Large Family wedding party

My extended family of 19 aunts, uncles, and cousins came to Tybee for my son’s wedding. The house had plenty of space. The two kitchens made meal prep faster. The three levels offered space to spread out. The porches were quiet retreats for adult conversation. The location was excellent! There was no need to drive except to the chapel for the wedding. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. The beach is right across the street. All of my family said they enjoyed their stay.

Last minute delight

Our original booking got cancelled at the last minute due to renovation running over deadline. We lucked into Savannah Beach at the last minute. Had a great time and plenty of room for our Getaway. Thanks!

Tybee House

This house is spacious, located within a very short walk to the beach and has plenty of space. The beach is beautiful. Only downside is the house is very close to other houses (like almost all houses here) but our neighbors were fine.

Wonderful house and great communication with property manager!

We had a wonderful time this past week. The house was not very clean upon arrival BUT the owner/property manager came the next morning and made it right. Apparently there was a "situation" with the week before us.....needs some general cleaning, painting etc. (which we were told is scheduled) but overall a great house with great management. Will stay again if we go back to Tybee Island.
