The Space:
The house consists of a large living room with a fireplace and comfortable seating, an open plan fully equipped kitchen with dinning area for six!
It also features 1 bedroom with a double bed with a en suite bathroom and one guest WC in the hallway.

The living room features two sofa beds, one big double and the other one that can be arranged as an oversized single; very comfortable to sleep on.

All areas of the house are air-conditioned.

There is a patio lounge with removable transparent curtains and a very large corner balcony with breathtaking panoramic sea view. It is equipped with a sofa, a coffee table and dining furniture.

On the outside, our garden develops on several levels. There is private shaded car parking area, coffee tables and a glass dinning table under our pergola. There is also a built-in BBQ at your disposal.

The Neighborhood:
Our home is located in Mikra Mantinia just 1km to the nearest beach and within short distance to numerous others.

In the neighbourhood (within 1km) you will find a really nice grill restaurant, gas station, bakery and a café, as well as bars and clubs for an unforgettable nightlife. There is also a grocery shop (3km) and a full size super market (4.5km) nearby.

The area features many beautiful beaches, ranging from rocky to sandy, there is one for every taste! Some suggestions are Almyros beach (1.3km), Mikri Mantineia (2.4km), the long sandy beach of Kalamata (4km), and Santova beach (7km).

Kalamata is also a city with many annual cultural events, as well as a very intense nightlife with incredible entertainment options. Visit the medieval castle and its numerous museums, walk through the alleyways of the historic centre, explore the large park with the award-winning outdoors railway museum and discover the local cuisine in any of the excellent local taverns, restaurants and street food choices. The city's bus station is within 9km and the local International Airport is just 17km away.

DAILY TRIPS
Visit the historic villages of Mani such as Kardamili (30km) with its medieval fortress, Stoupa (37km) with its cosmopolitan character, the picturesque fishing villages of Agios Nikolaos (40km) and Agios Dimitrios (41km) and the Caves of Diros (85km), a true marvel of nature.

The medieval castle town of Mystras (58km) and Sparta (60km) are ideal one day destinations, through a route of unparalleled natural beauty along the slopes of Taygetos mountain.

We suggest a visit to the towns of Ancient Thouria (20km) and Ancient Messini (40km), where you will experience the ancient Greek culture.

Explore the western part of Messinia at the Polylimnio waterfalls (38km), the picturesque Pylos (60km), Methoni (68km) and Koroni (60km) with their medieval castles, the world renowned beach of Voidokilia (62km) and the wildlife reserve of Gialova (59km).

On a slightly longer trip, you can also visit Ancient Olympia (118km) where the olympic idea was born and realised 2800 years ago and the ancient theatre of Epidaurus (180km).
