Steventon, located in the Vale of the White Horse in Oxfordshire lies approximately 5 miles from the towns of Abingdon and Didcot. On the banks of the Thames, Abingdon, purported to be the oldest town in England, is steeped in history with many fine old buildings. Visit the large collection of steam locomotives at Didcot Railway Centre where you can also ride on the 1930s trains.
