Acogedor ático con terraza en el centro de Verona

Un pequeño ático independiente, muy luminoso. Se encuentra en el centro de Verona, a pocos minutos a pie de la Arena (Piazza Brà), las principales calles comerciales (a través de Mazzini y Cappello) y la estación. Perfectamente conectado a todos los distritos de la ciudad, también es ideal en el período de ferias o eventos particulares. De hecho, a pocos metros hay una parada para todos los autobuses.

El apartamento consta de hall de entrada, comedor, cocina, habitación doble (con posibilidad de cama adicional) y baño con ducha. Todas las habitaciones dan a una gran terraza bien cuidada. En primavera / verano es posible desayunar / almorzar o cenar en la terraza rodeada de vegetación. Además de la mesa con sillas y sombrilla, dos tumbonas / tumbonas también están disponibles para relajarse al aire libre. No es posible fumar en el apartamento, pero la terraza ofrece la comodidad de estar en silencio al aire libre.

A disposición de los huéspedes aire acondicionado, televisión, radio, internet wi-fi gratuito, nevera, tetera, tostadora, cocina completa con todos los accesorios, secador de pelo, ropa de cama, sala de lectura y llaves de entrada. Fun Flat in Ideal Location

Cleverly converted unique attic flat with attractive rooms round three sides of a delightful garden roof terrace. Very well-equipped. Ten minutes walk from the railway station, fifteen from the Arena. Selection of shops, cafes and restaurants all within a few hundred meters. The ideal base for a stay in Verona.

Roof Garden Oasis

This lovely apartment is extra special because of it's garden terrace filled with beautiful flowering plants. Situated between the city center and the train station, it is an easy walk to either, making Verona an excellent base for day trips to Venice, Milan and Bologna. And the hostess is especially gracious and very helpful.

Great location

Top floor apt with lovely outside terrace, not for the faint hearted though, quite a few steps to the front door. Apt well equiped with everything needed for a comfortable stay but would have been nice to have a sofa to relax on instead of 2 tables/chairs. Great outside space with sun loungers to enjoy some sun and quiet time. Lots of restaurants nearby and only 10 mins from the arena and 10 mins from train/ bus station, perfect location. Host very helpful despite the language barrier.

Had a fantastic stay in verona, the apartment had everything and the roof top terrace was a lovely bonus it is perfectly situated 10 minute walk to centre of verona and 10 minute walk to verona trian Station were you can be to milan or venice within an hour.

Wonderful, adored our stay here

It was like staying at your Italian Grandmother's flat, quirky rooftop suite with more than enough room for two people. The terrace is amazing, Fiorenza has a green thumb for sure. Quiet at night, yet a quick jaunt to all of the touristy stops, local eateries and enotecas everywhere. Fiorenza was very helpful and took her time explaining everything as best she could. Wonderful host through and through.

Cosy convient place to stay

We had a lovely stay in the apartment, the place was clean and probably the best equiped place we have stayed in. Comfortable beds and a lovely patio with table and chairs and sun loungers. We were greeting on a very late arrival by Fiorenza's husband (apologied we didnt get his name) Despite our very limted Italian and his limited English he imparted lots of information about the Verona and the surroundings towns and cities and the best way to get there. A few things to note, the ceilings are very low in places but the materials they are made of are mostly pliable so and slight bumps of heads weren't painful.We are both quite tall so had to be aware whilst walkimg around parts of the apartment. If someone was very tall it may be an issue. The step out of the shower is also quite big so again something to be aware of. Finally the location is up 3 flights of stairs so wouldnt be good for people with poor mobility.Location wise it is good, plenty of restaurant and cafes nearby, a small Pam supermarket about 2 minutes away. The old centre of Verona and all the aMain places of interest is around 10-15 minutes easy walk away and the train and bus station is about 10 minutes away for great connections to other locations and the airport. All in all we had a great stay and would recommend the place. Fioenza was a great host and easy to deal with.

Attic apartment in Verona

An ideal position to travel around Veneto area . Buses and trains have excellent timetables/ fares and are within easy walking distance. An abundance of restaurants nearby and a gelateria and take away pizza next door. Fiorenza is both helpful and non intrusive. Apartment has all the necessary essentials for a very comfortable stay. June is a good month to visit to avoid large crowds. Do not miss an opportunity to enjoy a concert at Sala Maffeiana at Teatro Filarmonica .

10 days in Verona

Fiorenza's apartment was perfect for our stay this July! The terrace in particular was even better than you can imagine from the photos, with plants beautifully maintained and sun all day (with an umbrella for shade if needed). The kitchen was suitably equipped for cooking, the bathroom was clean, spacious and functional, air conditioning worked well, and we really appreciated extra practical touches such as window blackout covers, fans in the bedroom, racks for drying clothes. Fiorenza was very helpful, and although we only speak a little Italian, she took care to translate with her phone. She also waited up for us when our flight was delayed, which was much appreciated! The area is very practical for accessing both the train station and the historic centre.

Delightful and unique

Signora Fiorenza's property was exactly as listed. We (two adults) stayed for three nights. Easy 20 minute walk from the station. Access is via five flights of stairs. Signora Fiorenza was there to meet us and provided lots of information about what to do in Verona. The bedroom is quiet and fairly dark. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. We are both tall and found three nights of the sloping roofs was probably enough for us. The rooftop terrace garden (complete with nesting blackbird) was a tranquil haven after a day of sightseeing. The highlight for us was San Zeno Maggiore.

good apartment

First, be aware that this is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. It is up three flights of stairs (no elevator) and as an attic apartment it has many low ceilings that you need to be careful of. That said however it is a good apartment - comfortable beds, good kitchen, shower and washing machine, and fairly well located for walking and buses. Fiorenza is a welcoming host.

Wonderful!

The apartment is lovely and has everything you could need. It is extremely well looked after and Fiorenza is so kind and welcoming. The roof garden is an oasis of calm and cool in the hot afternoon - and perfect for a glass of wine! The location is excellent. It’s a 10 minute walk from the train station and then less than 10 minutes to Piazza Bra and the Roman arena. From here you are in the historic centre and can walk everywhere. Verona is a beautiful city and everyone is very friendly. We went to the opera on 2 nights at the roman arena - it was spectacular! The apartment even had opera cushions which we took with us to place on the seats. There are so many great restaurants, bars and cafes to eat in. We ate extremely well and I loved drinking ‘spritz’ at the bars on Piazza Bra after the opera. We loved Ristorante La Vecia Mescola as the food and service were fantastic- and it was very reasonable. Verona is a beautiful city and the apartment was perfect. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic

Fantastic apartment! Fiorenza is a fantastic, generous lady. We received a really warm welcome. We walked into the apartment to find the table set for breakfast, with bread for toasting, brioche, and little cakes, jams and spreads, and butter, cheese, juice and milk in refrigerator. As well, there was tea, coffee, and sugar, as well as basic condiments. Fiorenza showed us all the sites worth visiting, provided maps, brochures, and lots of extra helpful,information that she had prepared herself. The apartment description was accurate, but was better than we had anticipated. It was very clean, and well maintained. Fantastic location. Easy walk to station and all amenities, supermarket, bread/pastry shop, etc., and the city centre. Also nice neighborhood area. The terrace is beautiful and relaxing and very private,with well cared for plants. Comfortable bed and pillows. We received excellent customer service. Nothing was any trouble for Fiorenza. Communication in regard to booking process and follow up information was excellent. Did the walk to Castel San Pietro, where we got some fabulous views of Verona and surrounds. On the way down we stopped at a restaurant/cafe bar which was about half way on the way down. It had a great view, from their beautiful outside garden terrace area. Had a great Spritzer - had rhubarb juice in it. Unfortunately we do not have name of this restaurant/bar. Also had fabulous meal at Can Grande Ristorante. Went back again on our last night in Verona. Very interesting menu,quality meals, warm, welcoming establishment, reasonably priced, and a very relaxed atmosphere. What more can we say. We loved Verona, starting with such a lovely welcome from Fiorenza, and staying in her great apartment. We wished we had been able to stay another couple of days in Verona. We would not hesitate in recommending apartment to family or friends. And we would definitely stay here again.

Property with private outside terrace

The property was adequate for our stay and the outside space was delightful .....beautiful plants, private, quiet, table and chairs, 2 sunloungers, outside light and 2 doors to access it. We had excellent weather and used the terrace first thing in the morning and at night and for sunbathing one afternoon. Inside there are tables and chairs but I think lounge chairs/sofa would have been good in place of one of the tables as there is nowhere to sit if you have to/want to be indoors ..... only at the table and chairs or on the bed. There is adequate space in the kitchen with a good fridge, microwave and oven etc . I would have liked a tall glass for drinks as there was only 1 wine glass and no tall glasses. The bathroom is good with a small shower area but very good water pressure, very good hairdryer, washing machine, plenty of towels and space for toiletries. The beds were comfy with fresh clean linen and covers. There is good hanging space for clothes with a light. The roof is pitched throughout most of the property so you have to be mindful of your head but it's not too bad once you get used to it... There is air conditioning in the property and fans available throughout. To access the property there are a considerable number of stairs to climb. Doing them once or even twice a day is OK but if you are older/unsteady/disabled in any way, have a young child/pram etc they could pose a challenge. The hosts were very friendly - we knew where they were if we needed them and the bin was emptied and towels changed when we were out so as not to intrude in our time. The location was 10 mins easy walk to the Arena/shopping/restaurants area and similar to the train station. All in all we were really happy with the choice - the little terrace definitely made all the difference as if you were in a hotel room in the area, you wouldnt have the private space to make the most of the weather etc.

Wir kommen gerne wieder

Vom Gastgeben wurden die Sehenswürdigkeiten erklärt. Auch wertvolle Tipps für Frühstück und Abendessen waren dabei. Tipp: Bucht die Tiefgarage direkt. Die ist groß genug auch für ein größeres Auto. Verona ist eine Zone mit nur Anwohnerparkplätzen. Freie Plätze (blaue Streifen) sind kostenpflichtig für maximal 2 Stunden.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This home is special because of its central location and limits of the old town. On foot or by bike you're close to everything, it is also easy to reach by car or from the station. For me, the beauty of the apartment is definitely the terrace. I love to take care of the plants and flowers and sit out in the open gives me the impression of not being in the city center, but in a small garden. How can you then not be sensitive to the romance of a mansard roof? A cozy little nest. Waking up in the morning and see through the windows all the plants is great!
