La temporada de pesca ha llegado, así que sube. Muy bastante dos dormitorios 1 baño cabina frente al lago. Gran pesca, senderos ATV, senderismo, motos de nieve,
o simplemente relajante cabaña viene completamente amueblada y tiene canoa, remos, chalecos salvavidas y bicicletas, pozo de fuego al aire libre, garaje para un solo automóvil para almacenar cuatro ruedas o equipo, lago tiene lucio, perca americana, walleye, tipo de pez y perca. Mucha vida silvestre alrededor de Moose , Ciervos, Búhos, Bribones. Zona muy tranquila y el lago no tiene mucho tráfico. Un dormitorio en el primer piso, baño en el primer piso y dormitorio tipo loft. Cocina completa con cocina eléctrica / horno, nevera, microondas, cafetera, todos los utensilios vasos y platos y cubiertos. Cubierta delantera con parrilla de gas propano. Toallas, ropa de cama, gran cobertura de teléfono celular. Marquette es aproximadamente 45 millas. Lago Superior a solo 25 millas.

Amazing getaway

The cabin is great! Awesome location to explore the UP. Steps from the dock and canoe available. Mike had great suggestions for fishing holes and dining options.

Fantastic cabin in the woods!

Great cabin and super clean. The owners live next door and are attentive and responsive. Great walking trails out the front door, and great location to spend time in both Copper Harbor and Marquette. Great motorcycle roads and golf courses. Definitely hit up Lawrey’s in Ishpiming for pasties!

This was a perfect place for our long weekend in the UP. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The deck and firepit were awesome. Mike was very quick to respond to our questions. One note, other reviews states that firewood is provided. That is no longer the case, so purchase some on the way to the cabin.

This is the perfect cabin for a few people to rekax and enjoy the UP and all it has to offer. We took advantage of the canoe every day and on the water saw ducks, bald eagles, birds, and turtles. The outdoor campfires were relaxing.Mike is attentive and a great host.

We loved our getaway here! Property was secluded, clean and quiet. We enjoyed canoeing on the beautiful lake as well as grilling in the backyard. The cabin was quaint and located near many nice hikes. Hosts were communicative and responsive!

Loved this cozy & clean cabin! It was a perfect home base for sightseeing in the UP & for day hikes to Porcupine Mtns, Sturgeon River Gorge, Keweenaw Peninsula, Sugarloaf Mtn/North Country Trail & everywhere in between. Fortunate to see beautiful fall colors everywhere! The cabin had everything we needed & as listed/pictures & on the lake. We didn’t use the boat or canoe but they were provided as listed & the dock was very nice & picturesque as was the trail down to it. Beautiful wooded yard with deck & separate fire pit below with at least 6 chairs. Family friendly, lots of games supplied & good internet. Smart TV has only 10 or so channels but has some apps like Netflix & a DVD player. But who is there for the TV??!! We had great communication with the owners before, during & at checkout. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you Mike & Kathy for hosting us!

UP getaway

Loved it at first glance. Private, lake and boat access. Exceptionally clean. One of the nicer places we have stayed. Bummed we had to leave so soon. It was a mini getaway. Would stay again without hesitation!

Cottage in the woods

This was the perfect home base for our trip in the upper peninsula! Centrally located to Picture Rocks, Porcupine Mountains, Copper Harbor. Quite, super clean, decorated tastefully, and up to date. Host was very responsive! It's perfect for small families that like to be in the woods. Will definitely be returning.

Awesome Place

Mike the host is Awesome. Beautiful home and an amazing stay. Mike makes it super easy to stay there so you can focus on relaxing and enjoying your stay. Mike is more than willing to offer advise on the best local places to visit and check out for a family staying at this home. Very peaceful and secluded in a great way. I have stayed there 3 times and will be staying many more times in the future.

Second stay at the cabin

My daughter and I stayed at Mike and Kathy’s cabin for the second time. Our first visit was in 2021. We like the location of the cabin for taking day trips to Copper Harbor, Lake of the Clouds in the Porcupine Mountains, and Marquette. The cabin is clean, quiet, and cute. Mike and Kathy are great hosts.

great stay!

we had a great stay at this location. The owner was very friendly and communicative, the location was secluded but very accessible, and the cabin itself was very comfortable. The owner clued us in on things to do and see in the area, which was very helpful. The only downside we had was that the wifi was problematic for most of our time there. I'm not sure if that happens a lot or if it was just a glitch that occurred while we were there. Overall, we liked it a lot and would definitely stay again if we're in the area.

The cabin was nice. The ad claimed that there was free campfire wood. The owner provided only one bundle of wood with promises of more. We ended up buying 5 bundles of wood at 5.00 each at a local business. The 60 a day rowboat and motor was another disappointment. Once we finally got the motor started it shook the boat like crazy and kept cutting out. After we had departed the premises I was contacted by the owner and offered a free day with the boat and motor during our next stay to compensate for us having to purchase all the firewood; it was a little late to be offering that, there will not be a next stay.

Cozy

Comfortable cozy cottage for our family of 5. We enjoyed having campfire and our kids thought the loft was “so cool!” The lake is a bit of a hike down the hillside but the owner is amending that with stair case and platforms which will be really nice when completed. Had some luck fishing and communication with owner was great!

Wonderful Getaway

My sister and I booked this cabin for an exploring the UP getaway. It was absolutely perfect. It was in a gorgeous secluded location, clean and the hosts were amazing. From the day we booked until we checked in the hosts offered information by reaching out by text and also answering our questions. It was easy to explore all areas of the UP by being able to jump on 41 and start our day. We spent a day in the Keweenaw, a day starting in the neighboring towns of Ishpeming & Negaunee and then up to Marquette and Big Bay. I would definitely book this cabin again.

Rest & Relax

Very nice cabin. Quiet, no road traffic. We brought a 22' pontoon and were able to dock at cabin. Dock is in a very sheltered cove making docking easier. There are some very big rocks in lake.Fishing was ok but weather didnt want to cooperate. Owners were very helpful on questions about area and lake. Highly recommended for peace and quiet iswhat what your looking for.
