## Neighborhood

Raposeira - Is one of the places in the south-western Algarve where Prince Henry the Navigator lived.

You are spoilt for choice when it comes to the 16 beaches, all within a 5-15 minute drive away. There are also several supermarkets to get fresh supplies from within this timeframe. With a plethora of restaurants to chose from, your taste buds will embrace the authentic Portugese food & Algarve specialities.

Altos de Raposeira is a small, growing community right behind the town of Raposeira. Here, you will be away from the crowds, and surrounded by nature without feeling completely isolated. Raposeira town, with some lovely local shops and restaurants is close by and some of the most beautiful beaches of the Algarve are only a short drive away. By car you will reach the nearest big supermarket within 5 minutes. Surf town Sagres is only 10 minutes away and beach town Lagos and another selection of amazing beaches can be reached in 15-25 minutes.

This area is the perfect getaway for families who are looking for tranquility but don't want to go too far off the beaten track. It is also ideal for hikers, surfers and other (water)sport lovers. Golf resorts just around the corner.

## Transit

From Faro Airport Raposeira can be reached in 75 minutes by car and in between 4-5 hours by public transport.

The best way to travel the Algarvarian coast is by boat or car. If you really want to explore the area, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier as public transport is limited but will also get you around. There are buses going from Lagos and Sagres as well that stop in Raposeira.

## Notes

✚ Casa Chic has a strict non smoking policy inside the property
✚ We do not allow pets or any animals to stay at the property
✚ We do not allow hen/stag or any type of party at our property
✚ Surf boards and other surfing equipment can not be stored inside the property (to prevent marks on the walls). They can be stored outside in the garden at the rear of the property
✚ After applying sunblock please do not sit on any of the soft furnishings, as it will stain the furniture. If this happens you will be charged for additional cleaning charges.

➤ Check-out time: before 10am

➤ Please be aware that this property has security camera's. They are turned off for the period that the guests stays and only in use when the property is empty for a longer period of time.

ℹ SEF REQUIREMENTS. All property owners in Portugal have a legal requirement to report tourists’ and guests information to Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras (known for short as, SEF). To comply with legal requirements, from a week before arrival we shall send to you a link to our SEF form for you to complete and send back to us prior to your arrival. It is mandatory requirement.
