CA MI es tu casa de vacaciones ideal si quieres experimentar el territorio Salento al vivir el verdadero ritmo de un pequeño pueblo del sur de Italia mientras disfruta de su estancia en un lugar muy especial, donde las piedras y acabados originales cumplen con un diseño interior más contemporáneo. Los propietarios encuentran en Salento la ubicación mediterránea ideal para su casa. Después de una cacería de puerta a puerta en el centro histórico de Galatone abrieron la puerta de esta casa única de 60 metros cuadrados con 80 metros cuadrados de terrazas en tres niveles, y lo hizo propio en 2008. Con 9 meses de remodelación paciente con contratistas y artesanos de la zona, esta casa ahora cuenta con muebles y acabados antiguos y hecho a mano exquisito. El pozo, los nichos, la chimenea, la piedra increíble techo abovedado de la sala de estar se trajo de vuelta a la vida en un diseño interior más contemporáneo. El enorme dormitorio principal fue reorganizado para dormir cómodamente 4 personas con un altillo de nuevo diseño, y crear un gran cuarto de baño con dos lavabos y una ducha de piso a techo de tejas. La casa tiene cocina totalmente equipada, aire acondicionado / calefacción, TV con DVD, una gran marquesina con 2 hamacas en la terraza superior y una fabulosa ducha al aire libre para terminar su día de verano de la mejor manera posible. Tome su "aperitivo" en la terraza delantera. Da un paseo y el temor a la hermosa arquitectura de la zona histórica. Coger el coche para explorar olivares, ruinas, pueblos bien conservados, playas y descubrir la simplemente excelente comida esta tierra tiene para ofrecer. Haga su propio mejor de Salento!

Jederzeit wieder!

Tolle Wohnung in der historischen Altstadt von Galatone. Es ist zwar kein Parkplatz vorhanden, wir haben aber immer einen kostenlosen in der Nähe gefunden (auch dank der bereitgestellten Informationen). Ilaria und Sandra sind wirkliche Schätze und kümmern sich mit Hingabe um ihre Gäste und deren Anliegen.

Une très belle location

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette location située dans le centre historique de Galatone. La maison était très propre et parfaitement rénovée. L’équipement était parfait et l’accueil excellent. Les terrasses nous ont permis de profiter au maximum de notre séjour en véritable immersion dans cette petite ville italienne (très peu de touristes). Nous étions 4 (2 adultes et 2 enfants) et les différents espaces nous ont permis d’être à l’aise. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Beautiful apartment.

We had a great time in this stunning holiday home. It was cosy but quiet and had everything we needed. My husband loved lying in the sun on the roof top terrace, reading a book all afternoon. Galatone is a beautiful little town with delicious local cuisine, especially the Trattoria da Santino which is one door away and makes the most fantastic home cooked meals you could ever imagine. We loved our stay here and will be back soon :)

La casa e' situata nel centro storico di Galatone, curata e ben attrezzata. Ci godiamo questo posto situato tra mare e cultura, in piu' l'ottima cucina salentina. " FANTASTICA CA' MI' "

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa casa la seconda settimana di agosto e devo dire che è stata una vacanza meravigliosa. Tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli, superaccessoriata e arredata con molto gusto. Anche i terrazzi sono carinissimi e la doccia all'aperto è una vera chicca. La posizione è strategica. ..a Galatone non manca nulla..è vicinissima alle spiagge più belle del Salento e dista 20' da Lecce e 10' da Gallipoli. Un grazie speciale va ai proprietari, gentilissimi e disponibili per qualsiasi informazione e a Ilaria e Luigi per la loro pazienza. Contentissimi!!! Serena e Mirko

Beautiful and cozy house in the historical center of Galatone, tasteful and fully furnished. Galatone ia a little gem away from the august’s mad crowd, but only 10 minutes away from Gallipoli and the main attractions. It was a beautiful vacation, we will be back.

Great Location but transport is a must

Far from the mad crowd

We so enjoyed our stay in this nice and cozy house in the historical area of truly genuine Galatone. Ca' Mi' has all the comforts the traveller needs, with the extra of being very nicely designed and furnished. The owners and the housekeepers took care of every detail to make us feel welcome, from the moment we made the reservation and received tons of informations on Salento to the moment we checked-in and stepped in a spotless clean house that beat our highest expectations. The real surprise was actually the location. Summertime in the Mediterranean is very lively and exciting, but the crowd can be overwhelming and stressful to some visitors. By choosing Galatone we could easily reach and explore every corner of Salento beating the craziest traffic, also knowing that at the end of the day we would return to this quiet, not touristy town that feels so far from the super-crowded Gallipoli. Which, by the way, is only 15 minutes away. A great trip in a stunningly beautiful region, that has some of the best we ever experienced in Italy for art, food, beaches and landscape.

Schöne Ferienwohnung mit typischem Ambiente

Die Ferienwohnung besticht durch viel Liebe zum Detail. Sie ist typisch apulisch in einem historischen Haus untergebracht, verfügt aber über alle modernen Anforderungen. Für alles ist gesorgt - vom Dosenöffner bis zum Induktionsherd. Das Ambiente ist unschlagbar; authentischer kann man wohl kaum wohnen. Der Tourismus steckt in der Stadt Galatone noch in den Kinderfüssen, obwohl Potenzial vorhanden wäre. Ein besonderes Lob der Vermieterin: Der Ablauf der Buchung, aber auch die Fülle von Informationen lange vor dem Aufenthalt sind sicher beispielgebend für viele andere Vermieter. In Summe eine Ferienwohnung für Leute, die fernab vom Tourismus unter Einheimischen ihren Urlaub verbringen wollen. Tourismuswirtschaft pur gibt es dafür schon wenige Kilometer entfernt – wer dies möchte. Das Meer und lange Sandstrände sind nur ca. 6 Kilometer entfernt; schöne Apulische Städte in relativ kurzer Entfernung sind per Auto leicht zu erreichen. Wir hatten einen herrlichen Aufenthalt und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Danke an Sandra und ihr Team und viel Erfolg für die Zukunft!

Appartement bien rénové, nous avions loué cet appartement pour ses terrasses le problème est qu'il y a a seulement une toute petite table (2 pers max) avec 4 chaises, pas de bain de soleil, pas de matelas donc impossible de profiter du soleil et de la douche extérieure. Il n'y a rien à faire dans la ville de Galatone, il faut obligatoirement prendre la voiture sans être sûr de retrouver une place de parking le soir en rentrant. Points positifs : l'accueil, la disponibilité de la personne sur place, les plages de Gallipoli à 10mn en voiture.

Beautful apartment in the old, historical center

We stayed from 27/6 until 14/7 in this beautiful apartment in the old, historical center of Galatone. We had a warm welcome from the housekeepers who speak english and german. The apartment was well equiped and very nicely furnished. The supermarkt is on a 5 minutes walk and there are plenty of typical Italian bars in the neighborhood where you can drink an espresso with a limoncello. Beaches are on a 10 minutes drive and all the nice, interesting cities are nearby. We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful appartement and we can really recommand it. Wim en Marjo - Nederland

An Exceptional and Truly Authentic Experience

We have travelled to Italy several times and were determined to see another side of the country this trip. We wanted the road less travelled, access to sites and beaches and a a good accommodation in the heart of a smaller town. We got it all! First of all the owners, Sandra and Valerio, left no details to chance even before we arrived. We had complete instructions for every amenity in the apartment as well as a thorough guide to sites, restaurants, shopping and contacts. The apartment is exactly as it is described with care taken to create a most comfortable place to rest and enjoy the town. It is obvious that they are proud of what they have created. The real gift was the town and its people. We have many stories of the generosity and sincere kindness of people we met- none of whom spoke much English. But it did not seem to matter. We were escorted to the lavanderia, welcomed by Santino next door, driven to restaurants by strangers, provided directions to bakeries and other shops. We spent a week there and we both agreed that we could have quietly slipped into the fabric of the town. We would recommend this to anyone who wants to experience the authentic southern Italian hospitality. A wonderful memory still.

lovley Salento!

We stayed 9 days at Ca Mi in September/October and enjoyed our stay in this lovely little town, close to everything in Salento. Lecce, Gallipoli, San Leuca, Galatina, and all spots in between. Beaches on both sides of the "heel". All within easy driving distance. Ca Mi is a lovely apartment deep in the heart of the historic town of Galatone and Sandra and Valerio have done much to ensure that all needs and comforts are met. The home is beautiful, with vaulted ceilings, authentic and beautiful furniture and a modern two sinked bathroom! Their caretakers are wonderful people who took us for coffee on arrival and pointed us in the direction of our first dinner upon arrival. There is a basketful of booklets and pamphlets and an excellent binder of how tos, where tos that gave us great direction for our stay in Salento. A lovely stay in a beautiful area of Italy. Ca Mi was in the "Real Puglia"

We stayed in Ca Mi for about 9 days and rented a car so we could explore the surrounding area as much as possible during our all too short first visit to Puglia. We discovered that we were able to literally visit and enjoy almost all of the major small towns and cities in the area very easily because of the very close proximity to Galatone (i.e.Lecce, Galatina, Otranto), and also spend time at several of the very beautiful beaches in the area. We had a special interest in the viniculture and olive oil agriculture in the region and the central location of the apartment in Galatone allowed us to visit several wineries and Massarias and to enjoy the wonderful food and wine in these locations. I was also amazed to discover that my special interest in the early pre-Roman, predominantly Greek civilization, which shaped much of Puglia's history was readily accessible since the area around Galatone and Galatina is literally surrounded by active archaeological sites and there is a very good archaeological museum in Lecce. Ca Mi was a wonderful place to stay as the accommodation and creature comfort of the apartment was exactly as advertised by the owners and as potrayed in the online photos. It was especially rewarding for me to know we were staying in an apartment that had once been part of the original medieval walled city of Galatone. The vaulted ceiling, antique furniture, spacious stone walled bathroom and master bedroom were fantastic, and the kitchen and cooking facilities easily would provide all the necessary space and implements for home cooked meals if one was so inclined - we on the other hand ate out every evening at one of the many very good, surprisingly inexpensive restaurants in either Galatone or one of the nearby small cities. To this end the owners were very helpful with their many suggestions for dining out and places to visit in the surrounding area. Their helpers in Galatone (Luigi,Santino, Ilaria) were also very helpful upon our arrival (making sure we got settled in after a rather long ferry trip from Croatia), and were also very quick to give us help in finding nearby grocery stores, laundry facilities, and understanding parking in the nearby street. The Tratoria just below the apartment was great fun for us and the owner, Santino, and his son, Luigi, were very welcoming, introduced us to local people in the neighborhood, and fed us very well our first night in Galatone. We will return to Ca Mi.

"Rumore" humanum est

Die Wohnung hält, was sie verspricht: sie ist sehr geschmackvoll und originell eingerichtet, bietet optimales Lichtdesign und prima Möglichkeiten, gemeinsam zu essen und zu kochen. Allerdings haben wir die erhoffte erholsame Ruhe vermisst, da während der gesamten Dauer unseres Ferienaufenthaltes (10 Tage) schräg gegenüber eine Wohnung lautstark komplett saniert wurde. Beautifully renovated house in great location

The moment we walked through the door we felt comfortable in this lovely old house in the centre of Galatone. We had a great holiday and very much enjoyed our stay. The house has been renovated in a very clever, comfortable, sympathetic and smart way retaining all the character with a modern twist. Loved it

I went with my husband and daughter in July 2013 and we so much enjoyed our stay. Salento is beautiful, and Galatone is very central to reach with a short drive the main cities like Gallipoli, Lecce and Otranto but also all the coast and beaches. It was nice to spend the whole day out and then return to this cozy and quiet house to relax and sip a drink in the terrace. Ca' Mi' was just lovely, so clean and welcoming that we felt home right away. No hotel can beat that. The owners and the housekeeper had a lot of attention for us: both before the arrival with many informations on the house and the region, and during our stay with the housekeeper always available to help us in case of need. We would definetely love to go again.

Lovely flat close to Everything in Salento

We, a Swedish couple of 60+, spent two great weeks in this wonderfully restored flat in September 2013. The flat had everything we needed and even more. It was perfectly clean and we were very well taken care of by the housekeepers at our arrival. We also got their telephone number, so we could reach them if we needed some help during our stay, which felt very good! The City of Galatone is perfect for discovering the landscape, Everything was very Close, and as we got many suggestions from the house owners of fine restaurants, nice beaches and charming cities and villages, we had a lot to see and discover. Before we came to Galatone we had received many mails, with helpful information about Salento and how to reach CaMi. As the flat is situated in the middle of the old Town, we had the chance to almost take part in the everyday Life of the people living next to us. That was a great experience, which you never get when you stay at a Holiday Village for example. Our stay at CaMi was wonderful, and has given us many unforgetable memories. Thank you Sandra and Valerio for making our stay so pleasant!!

A very comfortable house ideally located

We loved our stay at Ca'Mi. The house was clean and we'll maintained. We enjoyed the comfort of the house, everything you need is available. We loved the antique furniture and the characteristic ceiling in the house. Also the possibility of outside sitting was great. We fell in love with the historic city itself. We will certainly return!

We are from Faenza, a lovely town in the heart of the Romagna region of Italy. We love to travel by taking time, exploring and getting lost, and that's pretty much how we found this house. Life has brought us to a city very far away, so now we share our vacation home with all the fellow travelers that prefer experiencing over visiting.

Some years ago we grew friends with a lot of people originally from the Lecce province. Their flamboyant enthusiasm for their roots and their stubbornness in declaring that Salento was the most beautiful place in the world was almost annoying, so we decided to travel there to prove them wrong. From that time, we never went anywhere else to spend our summers. We discovered Galatone thanks to one of those friends, and we decided that this very southern and friendly town was the perfect place where to finally find our future "buen retiro". Not only it is ideally located near all the main local attractions while far enough from the madding tourist crowds, Galatone is also an architectural gem with great, simple restaurants where to enjoy the true local recipes.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

While walking to Santino's Trattoria (unfortunately now closed) for a drink with our friends, we noticed the clearly abandoned property just next door and what seemed to be the nicest little terrace overlooking the narrow street. Thanks to Santino, the word of mouth started and the following day we were able to visit the house. Its unusual and unique configuration and the incredible amount of terrace space instantly captured our imagination and our hearts. A few months later, we were starting its restoration and counting the minutes separating us from our first toast on the terrace.
