Casa de campo familiar, a pasos de una playa privada en Brewster Dunes

Esta casa está a menos de 100 pies de una playa de barrio privado. Cuando la marea se apaga, aparecen barras de arena que son parques de juegos de exploración perfectos para niños y pintorescas zonas para caminar y correr para adultos. La casa está a pie de bicicleta distancia de equitación de 6A con restaurantes locales y tiendas.

En el exterior tiene una terraza enorme y pequeño jardín de hierba, todos con vistas al agua. Hay una gran ducha al aire libre, ideal para la vida de verano. El estacionamiento está disponible para 2-3 coches en la calzada.

La planta baja interior tiene una familia / sala de televisión con envoltura alrededor de ventanas para vistas de la playa y el césped. Hay conexión Wi-Fi cerca de la televisión. Hay un comedor con una zona de estar más pequeña. La cocina es de buen tamaño para una familia con un horno de gas, microondas y lavavajillas. El medio baño con una lavadora y secadora de tamaño completo está al lado de la cocina.

El piso de arriba tiene un dormitorio principal con una cama de matrimonio que se abre a un porche completamente blindado con barandillas para la seguridad del niño. Los otros dos dormitorios más pequeños tienen 2 camas individuales y una litera. Un pequeño cuarto de baño completo está en la parte superior de las escaleras. La ducha interior es apretado, pero hará que en días lluviosos. Este alquiler no viene con ropa de cama, por favor pregunte si esto plantea un problema.

Lovely place in Brewster

This place was exactly what I was hoping for for a summer vacation. The Brewster flats are one of my favorite places in the world, so this review might be biased. The cottage/small beach house was a nice size for my 3 person family. It is big enough to have a few visitors too. It was my 2-year old son's first trip to Cape Cod, and he loved both low and high tides, but especially loved searching for hermit crabs and other sea creatures during low tide. The house itself is very nice - the kitchen is well stocked for cooking, and the yard is big enough to toss a ball around in. The yard has a lovely view of the ocean. The porch upstairs facing the ocean is so, so nice. This place is very close to the beach - the walkway down to the beach is literally steps away, across a small dirt road. Everyone around is very friendly. We really had the perfect vacation. Thank you so much.

Excellent Beach Cottage

We have rented this unit multiple times. We have also rented other other beach homes within the Brewster Dunes and a few others in Brewster over the last 20+ years. I find this listing to be very accurate. Even though this house has been rented for many years it does not seem worn down. You can see the owner have kept up with maintenance. The inside and out are in good shape. The bedrooms and upstairs bath are very small and the house does not have AC, if you are reading the listing and looking at photos you can see that. The house having a bath and half is a very nice feature that many comparable rentals in the area do not have. The outside yard and the large deck are very nice. The parking at the rental is also very convenient (not always true in the area). The upstairs screened in deck is excellent at night as it is cool and keeps the bugs away. The real selling feature to this rental is the private beach. It is a very nice beach that is not shared with that many homes. The beach is never crowded and is very quiet. It is an easy walk to ice cream and restaurants. Super easy to get to the Cape Cod bike trail. As someone that has rented summer homes in Brewster for decades there are only a handful that we have rented multiple times, and this is one of them. If you like the pictures, and you have read the listing carefully, you can rest assured that the actual rental will be as described and will look like the pictures. Owner communication is excellent.

Family vacation

We were surprised when we got to the property that it was very hot. We did open the windows every single one of them but there was not much of a cross breeze during the day. There was a little more air flow at night but still very hot. I think the house would be perfect if some window air conditioner units were put it. For the kitchen and bedrooms upstairs! The location is amazing . The master bedroom with private balcony is a beautiful view. The bed was comfortable. The children’s room are very small. The couches are dated and the binder with information in the area needs to be updated. The outdoor shower works great and the new upstairs bathroom was nice. If the owners were able to refinish the deck that would be good thing as the paint is ripping in several areas. Mary was very kind when my husband called her to voice some of our concerns. Our boys had a great time and I did too once I finally fell asleep!

Idyllic cottage steps from beach

Our stay was ever so pleasant. The cottage is ideally situated right behind a beachfront couple of homes but the gorgeous view can easily be seen between them. It might as well be on the beach as it is so close. The Dunes area is a paradise of happy bunnies and singing birds in the many gnarly pines and rose bushes that abound. The home itself is well equipped and the front sitting room was just our favorite place to sit at night listening to the waves and watching the sunset. Our 2 1/2 yr old grandson had no trouble toddling down to the beach with us and his bucket of sand items. Very nice stay and the beach is gorgeous.

The right property for a single family unit.

I struggled a bit between a 4 rating and a 5 rating. I ultimately went with the 5 because of the owners excellent communication before we arrived. There were a few issues with the property (none preventing an outstanding vacation). The issues were small. There were backorder screeens, but sufficient repairs had been made. Some blinds were also back ordered, but temporary ones had been installed well enough to last the week. There was a broken toaster. All of this was conveyed to me before arrival. Knowing this before arriving makes a big difference. Thanks! Based on the shape of the rest of the house I would imagine these things have already been attended to. The house was overall in excellent shape. The miniscule bathroom upstairs had just been redone. It had very nice finishes. It does need a mirror and a shelf installed in my opinion. The downstairs half bath is a very nice luxury for the size/area of this rental. The outside shower is huge (making up for the tiny upstairs shower.) The sleeping arrangements work very well for a two generation family (which we were). The master is spacious with a nice queen mattress. The other two bedrooms are tiny and only have twin beds. It is odd that one room has bunks and a twin, and the other has a single twin. This would not be a good rental for Grandparents/parents/kid(s). This would also not be a good choice for two couples. The location, "The Dunes", is excellent. I have had the fortune to stay in several houses right in front of this house that are directly on the beach. To be honest it made more of a difference than I thought. That difference was countered by a significant savings in the rental price. There is a wonderful view from the second story screened porch of this rental. That is a very nice feature, but it is not as nice as an ocean front view. This comes down to personal choice (maybe availabilty) of this rental versus the ones right in front of them. As long as the owners of this rental keeps the price below the units in front of this one I cannot imagine they will have a hard time keeping it occupied. A few nice things about not being direct on beach is better parking and a yard. The beach "The Dunes" offer is outstanding. If you are down in this area, the rental is really secondary as the beach is wonderful. There is plenty of space, even at high tide. The flats are great at low tide. Plenty to do for all ages.

Comfortable and Welcoming

We found everything we needed for a family- friendly vacation. The roomy outdoor shower was perfect for corralling a toddler after a day in salt water and sand. When the beach was too windy the deck served as play area and dining option. Lots of room downstairs plus a spacious kitchen. Best walking beach ever. We very much enjoyed our stay,

Perfect Spot

The house is a true Beach House. Cozy, cute, steps from the beach. We spent many a late afternoon on the 2nd floor porch watching the waves, Bay and a beautiful sunset on Friday. We took nice long walks along the beach and out into the bay at low tide. This area is peaceful and quiet. The folks in the other houses were so nice and welcoming too. At night the sound of the waves was so calming we slept like babes. Just what we needed. We hope to return here next year.
