Hosting an all-ground-floor layout with two bedrooms; including a double and a twin, along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to four guests. There is also a kitchen and a living/dining room with an open fire. Outside there is off-road parking beside the cottage and access to the castle estate. Note: Access is via the front door which has a step, and there are three internal steps down into the living/dining area, the area by the front door is cobbled. Note: Dogs are not allowed on beds or any of the furniture, you may like to bring an old towel to wipe muddy paws. Note: The charging of electric vehicles is not permitted. Note: Fuel for the open fire is not provided, logs and coal are available locally at petrol stations and shops, we kindly ask that you do not collect wood from the estate. The town is home to several local businesses including shops and pubs, and also the Alford Heritage Museum. Visit the Battle of Alford battleground, or head to nearby Haughton and Murray country park, with Craigievar Castle being well-worth a visit too.
