Nice, Clean and Convenient

Clean room with super easy check in. Parking is close by. Very walkable to close restaurants, cafes and shopping.

Great stay in Kinsale

We spent 3 nights in Kinsale at The Old Dispensary and had a fantastic time. The location was perfect - easy walk to everything. Day trips out from Kinsale were easy to manage. Great drink and food in town. Couldn't have been better.

This property was disappointing; the room was careworn. There was paper litter under the bed and chest of drawers, and the coffee making facilities amounted to teabags, coffee sachets and three uht milk pods in an old mini fridge. Communications with the host in the days before check in were poor. The bathroom was clean, the shower was good, but the TV in a neighbouring room was very loud. The standard of accommodation did not justify the price charged.

The standard of accommodation did not come close to justifying the price charged.

The apartment needs an overhaul, an update. The tea and coffee facilities are poor (three UHT milk pods in an ancient fridge!!). The soap at the sink ran out and we did not get the replacement we requested. The bath towels were thin and aged, and the hallway and stairs were untidy. We found mushed in crisps or some other snack products on the steps one afternoon and they had not been cleaned by the time we left. Communication from the host was poor. The bathroom was nice and the shower good

Lovely place in heart of town

This accommodation was absolutely lovely! There was a bit of a confusion about bed size initially (apparently King in Ireland is really a Queen) but our host immediately remedied it for us. Our room was beyond expectation and offered wonderful amenities to enhance our time in Kinsale. Would definitely return.

Wonderful night stay at The Old Dispensary

I was sad that we only had one night to stay in Kinsale as we absolutely loved our room at The Old Dispensary. Meri was very delightful and had many recommendations for dinner and sites to see. I would like to point out though there are many steps to get up to the entrance so this might be an issue for someone older and unable to carry their suitcase. It’s location is perfect for walking around Kinsale and there is a terrace with an amazing view.

Great location, gorgeous room and friendly service

We spent three nights at the Old Dispensary in Kinsale. You could not ask for a better location to see Kinsale from and Mery was a helpful and friendly host who made herself available to sort out any problems we had. We needed access to a fridge for some medication and she had this sorted within the hour after our arrival. The room we had was gorgeously appointed with a fantastic roomy bathroom. The outdoor terrace and access to laundry facilities were extras we enjoyed. Highly recommended.

- Property manager responses to emails were not very timely- This place is nothing more than a bedroom and a bathroom - not too dissimilar from a hotel room

Einfach nur ein geräumiges Zimmer mit Bad. Keine Küche, wie bei FeWo direkt angegeben, Wasserkocher vorhanden, Toaster ebenfalls aber nichtmal ein Messer oder ein Teller. Die beste Lage hat alles wieder gutgemacht. Tolle Stadt mit guten Restaurants.
