Lodge-Lujoso-Baño privado con ducha-Vista al Jardín

Duck Lodge offers a cozy environment with a Lounge area with satellite TV (inc movies), Breakfast unit, Fridge with Honesty Bar and Tea & Coffee making facilities. The Bedroom area has a Double bed with crisp white egyption cotten linen for a cozy nights sleep. Side tables with Lamps and additional blankets and pillows are available if needed under the bed.

We offer a Luxury Self Contained Norwegian Log Cabin that sits in the grounds of the main house. The Lodge can sleep up to a maximum of two people and is secluded and independent from the main property. Underfloor Heating makes Duck Lodge a cozy retreat in the winter months.

On arrival you will be greeted by Keith the owner, who will provide you with your keys so you can let yourself into your accommodation, independent of the main property.

We have a Hot Tub located 25m from the Log Cabin up on the patio of the main property which is offered for guests to sooth away those aching joints for a 2 Hour duration available from 16:00 - 21:00
Bathrobes are supplied and we kindly request a shower be taken prior to using the Hot Tub.

Opposite Duck Lodge is a large secure storage area for Cases, Bikes, Ruck Sacks, Boots etc. To keep the Lodge clean we kindly request footwear to be left in the outside store or in the porch area - a key will be provided for your own security.

There is a Sonos Sound System in the Lodge for your use.

Conditions - Any damage to Duck Lodge or its contents, carpet damage or breakages are to be paid for and may be charged upon departure to the Card used for payment. There is a strict non smoking or Vaping policy in or within the property boundary and pets are not allowed in Duck Lodge.

Perfect

The most perfect relaxing night away. We had such a lovely time at duck lodge, Keith and John were amazing, the cabin was cosy, modern and had everything you could need and the breakfast was lovely, we sat outside and enjoyed it in the sunshine. We didn’t want to leave but we felt so refreshed on the drive home. We will be back, thank you!! 🦆

Duck Lodge was everything it promised and more, a very comfortable and relaxing escape.

The lodge was private and finished to a high standard. Keith had paid a lot of attention to detail and thought of all eventualities! Keith was a great host, friendly, helpful and informative, but not intrusive. The hot tub was great with beautiful views and an even more stunning vista at the top of the walk recommended by Keith. We enjoyed the continental breakfast and Keith kindly enabled us to have a late check out. We would definitely return and try one of the other recommended restaurants.

My search for something very much "not a hotel" resulted in me finding Duck Lodge B&B. What a result

As a person who very much dislikes traditional UK hotels, I can honestly say that the Duck Lodge B&B was just what I was looking for. Likes: Clean, good facilities, quiet, and wonderfully comfortable. Dislikes: There is absolutely nothing to dislike. Keith is a fantastic host and I would not hesitate to recommend the Duck Lodge B&B to anyone looking for a great place to stay in that area. I'll certainly be looking to stay there again when I am next in the area.

Everything was perfect

Very stylish, clean and comfortable accommodation, in which the host made us feel very welcome. There were plenty of extras such as the jacuzzi, a well stock bar, sky TV and a private outdoor area. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast.

Lovey lodge with a great host

The cabin is beautiful and very complete. Everything you need is there, it is very comfortable and it looks nice. The hottub is a great added bonus to really relax when you are there. Then, after a great night sleep, breakfast is also very complete and nice, adjusted to your likings. Definitely would recommend and would come back if in the region.

What a delight it was to stay in your wonderful lodge with you lovely ducks.

Your welcome was warm and friendly and we loved the feel of the lodge from the first moment we entered. It was very comfortable and we very much enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was very good. The lift to the pub was much appreciated given the amount of rain and we would love to stay again.

Amazing stay!

Had a great stay in Duck Lodge a few days after Christmas 2023! The place is very cosy and has everything you need. The hot tub is amazing after a day of hiking, and especially after braving the December winds. Keith was such a welcoming host, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. He picked us and dropped us off at the train station, and the breakfast was very delicious. Thanks Keith, looking forward to visiting again!

we could not fault duck lodge , our hosts were warm friendly and who could not do enough to assist us every little detail we felt catered for and the hot tub was a lovely bonus ❤️❤️❤️ a complete switch off and the only downside was leaving !!!! we will be back asap but more nights needed x

After a warm welcome, we felt relaxed in this cosy cabin and enjoyed the most delicious breakfasts.

Keith is a friendly and welcoming host and nothing is too much trouble. The lodge itself is comfortable and cosy, we had the best nights sleep. Breakfast is absolutely delicious with a good choice of options. The hot tub is lovely after long walks over the hills. The location is great for walking from the doorstep as is the local pub and shop.

I had worked for American Express for 24years and regrettably I was made redundant in Feb 2016. Unknowingly at the time it was the best thing that could ever happen to me, as it was going to allow me to live my dream of running my own Bed and Breakfast. Having worked for a large Corporate company I had gained a massive amount of Customer Service and Communication skills dealing with the Rich and famous, arranging a picnic for 50 on the side of the Thames with 3 hours notice, organising a private jet for a family of 3 to attend a surprise party to purchasing a Baby Bentley wrapped up in a red bow for a Wedding present. Setting up Duck Lodge was going to be a challenge compared to my previous life but I have to say I have enjoyed it from day one. Duck lodge opened in Feb 2017 and has been an absolute dream to run. The one aspect I love is meeting different people on a daily basis – everybody has a story to tell which I find so interesting – I absolutely love dealing with people and making people feel happy, welcome and making sure they enjoy their stay in Duck Lodge and to be a memorable one.
