Absolutely marvellous, wonderful holiday base.

We have been coming here for over 40 years and it never disappoints. Great for all ages - indoor pool, tennis courts, gorgeous grounds - and very well placed for visiting Yorkshire highlights. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Staff delightful and very helpful. And such good value!

Perfect stay in North Yorkshire

We love visiting North Yorkshire and have been many times and even lived there from 1977 to 1984. Sutton Hall offers a perfect base from which to explore the Dales and moors and wonderful coast! The apartments are well appointed and the indoor pool and jacuzzi were divine after a day of walking! We did not use the sauna or hot tub but they were there for those who wish. Perfect weather too which was a bonus! Thank you Sutton Hall for a wonderful week once again!

Once again we spent a wonderful week exploring all the North Yorkshire has to offer. Our apartment at Sutton Hall is of a very high standard and we loved the warm swimming pool after walking in the Moor and Dale's!

Very comfortable, lovely grounds and surroundings, especially with snowdrops everywhere 🥰

The Kilburn apartment was very well equipped and comfortable. It was lovely to come back to, after a day out. It was close enough to many attractions and the moors, enabling a day out, but not too far to come back to.

Wonderful holiday at Sutton Hall

Very nice building & apartment which was comfortable and well appointed. Small, quiet resort but with good amenities. It's very well positioned for sightseeing in the Dales, Moors, York and the East coast. Helmsley & Thirsk are lovely places to visit & eat. The staff were very nice and helpful

Not our first visit and it won’t be our last

Perfect place to relax and enjoy the facilities at hand. Accommodation is always spotlessly clean . The only thing I would change is the addition of a dart board in the common room which would be good

Super SEND friendly break

Beautiful building with well equipped apartments surrounded by well kept gardens to explore. Staying with our child with additional needs, we felt welcome and valued as guests even though we only stayed a short time. The staff were very helpful. Being able to book the pool for just our family was also a big plus. We will definitely be visiting again.

Absolutely amazing!

The room was very clean and comfortable and very well equipped. The grounds are absolutely stunning! We loved that we could book exclusive use of the facilities and the children very much enjoyed having the pool to themselves. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We just loved that it all felt very relaxed, well managed and the location is also great for exploring further a field.
